Place was nice & friendly. Had food hot, ready & on time when I came to pick it up! Had the Chicken Salad pizza. delicious! My family enjoyed it. Not the best I’ve tasted but it was great. Good value too.

Honestly, I’m very hard to please when it comes to pizza. I grew up in Hollis, Queens and one word… Gaby’s. But South Shore can be a hit or miss at times.
I’ve had the chicken parm hero which was a great introduction to this place. Second time going I had the Buffalo chicken slice and garlic knots which was outstanding but then several months later a whole buffalo chicken pie showed up to my door and it was nothing like the previous slice. It was soggy and didn’t hold up well against the massive amounts of Buffalo chicken bits atop. After raving about the place I was alittle embarrassed in front of my company to say the least.
Will I go again? Possibly, but I’m not making a mad dash…

I use to have no problem with these guys. But tonight we ordered a half and half pizza. It was suppose to be half Pepperoni and extra cheese, and one side GREEN BELL PEPPER and onions. What do they bring? A pizza that was UNDERDONE all the way around with UNCOOKED CHOPPED RED SALAD onions and HOT PEPPERS on half the pie! When we called them to complain (cause the kids were upset with hot little mouths and I wanted to know why the onions and green peppers (that weren’t) showed up RAW) – I was told (BY THE MANAGER of ALL people!) «that it was the main guy who made it and no way he made a mistake, and anyway he even gave us a free soda.» Really? OH PUH-​lease.. .Free soda means nothing when I have to NOW buy another pie from else where. So fifty dollars worth of pizza up against a «free» two dollar soda? Well whoopie-​doo! I will NEVER order from them again I promise you that!

The first test for seeing how good a pizzaria may be, is trying their plain cheese slice first. I ordered a plain slice and some garlic knots from South Shore. The pizza was not great but it was not bad either. It tasted like a regular cheese pizza from any olé regular pizza spot. When I eat pizza, I want great pizza so I might not go here again. The plus is that the garlic knots were great. It was light and airy with a great garlicy buttery taste. I usually don’t get garlic knots because at most places they are dense and dry but these are not. If they can get the right ingredients to make a great pizza then they might have a hit. The other specialty pizzas that they had on display looked very good. If I do go back to South Shore Pizza, I may try one of them.

Not a consistent slice. Lately, it has been better but I worry. When I first had this slice, I liked it a lot. I also like the garlic knots. But then it got bad for awhile. Now it’s just okay. Pretty meh.

Used to come here often. Delivery driver decided to tell me «GRATUITY IS APPRECIATED» before I even got a chance to reach in my pocket. Well. that’s the last time I order anything from South Shore. Pizza is often under cooked anyway.
