The Will Shoppe is not meant to be a substitute for various «form book» or «do-​it-​yourself» programs which are offered to the public. Rather than simply «filling in the blanks», The Will Shoppe offers plans which allow for a variety of planning choices not available through other estate planning providers.

Business Owner

Bruce has practiced law and concentrated his practice on estate planning since 1968. He was associated for 21 years with two highly-​regarded downtown Chicago law firms — Schuyler, Ballard & Cowen and Schuyler, Roche & Zwirner. From 1989 to 2010 he was associated with Roberts, Simon & Even, Ltd., in Inverness, Illinois, and currently is associated with Roberts & Pinter, Ltd., in Inverness. He is a graduate of Miami University (B.A. 1963) and Northwestern University School of Law (J.D. cum laude 1968).

Bruce has broad experience both in transactional law and litigation involving general commercial and real estate matters, trusts, and estates, in addition to his over 40 years in estate planning. His areas of concentration today continue to be estate planning and trust and estate administration. He is a past member of the Chicago Bar Association Trust Law Committee and is currently a member of the Northwest Suburban Estate Planning Council and the American, Illinois State and Northwes
