The Masonic Business Center is a 17,050 sq ft, restored 1910 Masonic building on the National Register of Historic Places. It is centrally located in the historic business center of Inverness, Florida. Office suites for lease range from 151 sq ft to 645 sq ft and some can be combined to accommodate businesses and corporations of different sizes. The office rental includes common area maintenance, garbage pick up, city water/​sewer, electric, HVAC, pest control, ²⁴⁄₇ access with secure pin entry system, security cameras, signage (small one-​time charge for exterior signage), taxes, and one or two 24-​hour parking passes (depending on suite size). There is also a fully equipped 1,100 sq ft ballroom on the 3^rd floor that can be rented for banquets, weddings, business meetings and events (there is a reduced rate on ballroom rental for tenants).

History

Established in 2006.

In 2006, Drywell Group, LLC purchased the Masonic Temple and rechristened it the «Masonic Business Center». From 2007 until 2009 an extensive renovation occurred where all the systems were inspected and upgraded. Wood floors were refinished, period furniture, lighting, art, and paint colors were researched and added throughout the building. The exterior was extensively repaired and restored, and a «historic photo gallery» of the building was added along the first floor hall. In, 2010, the building received two grants and solar panels were added to the roof in order to make the Masonic more energy efficient. To accommodate the tenants and to expand our business, a second office building was purchased, The Pine Avenue Business Center. This site contained enough parking for both buildings and is within a short walking distance of all city services, restaurants and shops.
