Mega Airport Parking

**** BEWARE OF THIS PARKING LOT ****** They advertise self parking, but they do not allow you to self park and demand that you leave keys or they will tow your car. I reluctantly left my keys and upon my return the parking lot employees went through my entire truck. They stole coins that I had in ash tray, they stole personal papers from glove box and center arm rest, also left items scattered throughout vehicle, they went into the trunk and stole my car jack and other items. I spoke with attendant at lot upon noticing all my items stolen, I was asked to call back and speak with the manager named Manny. I have been calling for 2 months, no Manny ever at work. SCAM AND ALL EMPLOYEES ARE THIEVES. Spend a few extra bucks and stay elsewhere or expect your items to be stolen

Waited 40 min for the ride, never have I had to wait so long and to make things worse everytime I called they kept telling me any minute now… Then 30 min later he shows and I understand if there was traffic or a buzy day but there as no traffic and Google maps from lax to there lot was 18 min so we’re was the 40 min for. Go to quick park, never had a problem there, here u definitely get what u paid for. Pay the extra fee bucks and get a much more reliable service.

Well you get what you pay for, third grade shuttle service and the shuttle itself. I called them when I get off the plane collected my bags and still I had to wait for 25 min for the shuttle. It is 85 outside and they use a NON AIR CONDITIONED shuttle. I wish Unilocal had a option for 0 stars I would totally give them 0 or even negative 1 is too much!
Would not recommend it to anyone except if u are looking for something cheap!
Also make sure u leave no valuables in your car. I had $ 8 worth of change and they stole it

I used to park here all the time, back with the old owners. It was decent service, and cheap. All good. But things have changed. Now, it can take FOREVER to get a van pickup at LAX, and the owner/​dispatcher will just keep lying and saying ‘a van is on the way, it just left’ LIES! 2^nd to last time I used this place, it took nearly 1hr to get picked up after midnight on a weekday. There was no traffic and LAX was pretty dead. I called for at least the 4^th time and told them that if it went over an hour of me waiting, I wanted my money back. The driver pulled up, giggling, laughing and saying he was glad he got there in just under the 1hr mark! I didn’t think it was that funny. I decided to give it one more try, and was disappointed yet again. This place has HORRIBLE service.

I admit it looks desolate pulling into this car park. However, $ 7.00 a day in LA is awesome and with that one doesn’t expect good customer service, timely operations or a nice van.
— the gentleman who parked my car was pleasant. The gentleman driving the van was nice too.
— the van didn’t come right away, but I needed to take my time too. So this worked well. Regardless of parking service, I always find them slow so I wasn’t too concerned. I waiting 5 – 7 minutes.
— van was beat up, but the ride was $ 7.00 and I’m secure with my appearance, so riding is a beat up can isn’t a monumental issue for me. It didn’t have air conditioning…
If you are insecure, terribly impatient or must have air conditioning this isn’t the place for you.

Waited over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up. Car had some new scratches on the rear bumper when I picked it up. I knew I was taking a chance when I dropped it off and let them park it. The lot was jammed full and my car was brand new with not a mark on it. Sadly, yes, you get the cheapest service. I wish I would have paid a little more and had my car be safe and a quick pick up.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS LOT. The positive reviews for this lot clearly came from those lucky individuals who happened to be present in the lot when the only operational shuttle arrived. My experience with the lot was this:
1) advertised that shuttles arrived every ten minutes when I made booking
2) my boyfriend and I arrived for our flight 75 minutes early to the lot with the assurance that the next shuttle would be there within ten minutes
3) we waited over 45 minutes for the shuttle
4) we made it onto our flight in the nick of time, but were unable to check any bags (which we had already paid to check)
5) when returning from our trip on the red eye, we called the shuttle for pick up at least four times and got no answer
6) finally, after at least 45 minutes (it was after 1 am at this point) we get an answer that a shuttle is on the way
7) 15 minutes later a shuttle arrives, but there is only one seat left! The shuttle driver assures us that she will be back for us in «10 minutes»
8) we decide enough is enough and take a taxi on our own dime to the lot
9) we arrive at the lot 15 minuets later, the same time as the shuttle we were supposed to be on actually arrives at the lot
This place is the worst

Had an overall good experience. Shuttle vans are a bit run down looking but they do the job either way.
Dropped the vehicle off no issues, was on a shuttle within 10 minutes to LAX. Upon returning, we called when we landed and they said they’d be there within 20 minutes, which gave us enough time to locate the pickup area. Shuttle came on time and picked a group of us up. When we got back, there were 3 cars waiting with the keys in it, one of them being ours. Simple, easy and painless. Would do it again.
Only issue we had was that our first driver who was a young girl had rap music blasting loudly. I thought this was unprofessional. Annoying yes, but overall not a serious problem. The second driver, an older Hispanic man, was really polite and had some classical music playing quietly, which was much better.

Cheap but when you wait for almost an hour after your first call to be picked up and taken back to the lot, don’t think it is worth it!

Don’t know why the bad reviews.
It’s the cheapest airport parking around.
They were very quick to take in my car and I waited a couple of minutes for the shuttle to take me to the airport.
When I came back from my trip. I called them and told them what terminal and they were there in minutes. My car was ready when I got there.
very easy and cheap.

I had no problem with the place other than the workers are a little snippy. The place is relatively safe, near by the airport and the shuttle did not take too long, the driver was nice to boot.

I would mot recommend this parking lot. The parking lot is also far away from the airport. While the shuttle drivers are safe and polite, there are only TWO shuttles. I waited more than 30 minutes for a shuttle after I called to let them know I was under the red puck up sign at the terminal.
It’s not worth the money you might save.

They get 2 stars instead of 1 for cheap service at $ 7 per night for parking but you get what you pay for? Unreliable and not so timely service and contradictions which make the business seem very unreliable and uncoordinated.
Pros:
-$ 7 daily parking which sounds so cheap compared to airport parking but warning.
Cons:
–they say 25min for pick up but we waited an hour and called 3 times
–one of the times the shuttle bus was full so the driver told us to call a cab and the service will pay for it. We called the front desk to verify, was told this was not true. They do not pay for cab fare
–driver started to rant to us about how it is not his fault we waited an hour for pick up and said it was the office’s fault instead and to take it up with them (both sides blame each other to us so business isn’t stable)
–small white van for pick up. Not even a shuttle bus
–small white sign with red letters that say mega bus ride which is hard to discern to wave them down to pick you up. Another time, the pickup can missed us two times and we had to wait them circle twice first before they saw us. That was an extra 40 – 50 min wait alone for drive time.
–parking lot is far away from airport itself (quite a drive)

Pathetic! Do NOT ever use mega parking. Total scam when you land. They don’t answer the number on their card. It rolls to voicemail. Finally, after 8 minutes of having NO IDEA if they were still in business. Sam, lies and tells us, «shuttle will be there in 15 – 20. For 30 mins we sat WAITING. No shuttle. We call again, he tells us 15 minutes, shuttle will come get us. NO SHUTTLE. Then, Sam tells us, «take a cab and I’ll pay for it!» After 55 minutes of waiting and a cab ride. Sam has NO MONEY, but reimburses us for the fee. Then, we had to pay the cab… after all that, Sam at mega parking, lied about the shuttle TWICE and LIED a 3^rd time about him paying for the cab. What a joke. Mega Parking is a MEGA SCAM!!!
They comp you but you pay for the cab… total joke. Never EVER to return.

THE WORST!!!
If I could give negative stars, I would. Called for a pickup Sunday night and was told 20 – 25 minutes for a shuttle. Obviously not ideal, but ok. 25 minutes later and still no shuttle, I call back asking what’s the deal. Sam gives some excuse about how it’s raining and the shuttle he sent to get us broke down on the way, and the 2^nd shuttle driver had to go help him out but assured me he would be there in 15 – 20 minutes. Another 20 minutes later and I call yet again to ask where the shuttle is — which is when he tells me to just take a cab there and he’ll pay for it.
SERIOUSLY!!! So we get there and go inside to have Sam pay for the $ 20 cab ride, but he refuses. Instead, he refunds the week’s worth of parking fees back onto the credit card, but we still had to pay for the cab!!! WTF… he literally told me on the phone «take a taxi and I’ll pay for it», yet I was the one shelling out cash for the cab. The WORST. EVER.

This is my second time using Mega. My experience has been pleasant and worth the cost.
I arrived around 6am on Friday, noticed the lot was packed but there was nobody in line to check in. The lot is a little distance from LAX but from parking to arriving at the airport there was little delay. The driver knew to drop us off at «arrivals» to minimize the traffic delay around the departure terminals.
Upon returning the shuttle just happened to be sitting outside picking up other passengers. I know this was luck but it does add to my positive review.
I noticed some negative reviews regarding wait times at pick-​up, I believe this is due to people calling for the shuttle before they get outside. On the ride back the driver made several stops at different terminals to find no one waiting or people not ready to be picked up.
I’m currently on the second experience of this review. Everything is going as planned, this time I had the pleasure of speaking with the shuttle driver Ray who was friendly and prompt.
I would definitely use this parking service again.

After reading all the reviews we were very hesitant to park at Mega.
The lot location was right off the freeway so it’s convenient. Looks sketchy but it’s gated.
When we pulled into the lot it was very packed so the attendant just had us park in front of the office. We checked in very easily, the staff was busy but very thorough.
We waited about 10 mins for the shuttle to leave, the driver was friendly.
When we arrived back from our trip, I called the office and the guy said it would be about 15 – 20 mins wait. We waited about 15 and he showed up. When we got back to the lot only waited about 5 mins and the guy pulled up with our car. Very satisfied. I would say they need more workers to keep up with how busy they are.

Called three times. No answer. Fourth time, got an answer. Whew. Told their person that we were at terminal 3. Half an hr later, called back and was told that they circled terminal 2 twice and «we weren’t ready.» Clarified that it was terminal 3. Waited another 20 mins for pick up. That’s it. Last time were using this parking lot.

Free shuttle and valet parking even at 3 am in the morning. Free wifi and tv to keep your company while waiting for the shuttle.

I normally don’t like to write 1-​star reviews, in fact, I try not to write them at all, because it’s not even worth it. However, since there’s so many parking options for airport parking for LAX, if I was checking places, I’d like to know what places to avoid.
I booked them online a few weeks before our trip, the prices are reasonable and I paid the deposit.
We got there about 2.5 hours before our flight so we figured there’d be ample time. We weren’t sure where to park so they we just pulled up and they said that they’ll «valet» it when they’re ready to. My husband got the business card and instructions on how to call them once we get back.
Hopped in the van/​shuttle with two kids and there were people sitting in the front seats already, so we had to bury ourselves in the back with kids on our laps. Not the company’s fault but the travelers who are inconsiderate, whatever though.
This place is rather far from the airport, in fact, they have to take the freeway to get there, so it’s not a short ride. Hold onto your seats because the driver is insane and drives very fast, even though I had two kids without car seats in the van.
When we got back from our trip, we had to wait 30 minutes to get picked up. We called them and the driver just said «ok» and hung up, didn’t give us a time or anything. When we finally got in the van, again, we had to shove ourselves in the back with two kids. My 3-​year old got to sit next to us, until the driver said he’s picking up 7 more people! Seriously!?! There were already 7 people in the van! He said that I had to put my daughter on my lap and my other kid on my husband’s lap.
People were sitting on each other’s laps to fit 14 people in the van and the driver drove so fast and like an #@&@#^@4 so I was very nervous holding onto my daughter on my lap. We were pressed up against the window and weren’t sitting comfortably at all because we had people squished up against us.
When we finally arrived at the lot, our car’s windows were down and ants and bugs were crawling on my daughters’ car seats. I’m not even sure how long they had the windows down because there were quite a few bugs in our car. I’m glad we didn’t have valuables or anything in there, geez.
Never again! Don’t use this place! If you hear its name, run in the other direction.
