What a flavor explosion! Tried this place after hearing about it from a few friends. I had the chicken tacos with the spicy sauce, what a kick. Food was great and the customer service was friendly. Will definitely be going back.

Great service, clean. I had a rice bowl. The rice was mushy. I did mention it but he said it’s because it has coconut milk in it. Ok

It was ok. I had the jerk bowl. I wish they would give more rice in the bowls. This is not an authentic jerk spot if that’s what your looking for, they don’t sell pieces of chicken.
I also had the wingettes which should have been cooked a little longer to get rid of the pink inside.

Stopped in to try the Jerk chicken Burrito, clean place, friendly staff. It was made to order, only wish it wasn’t hot with heat (turn the warmers up). It was warm and rice is mushy other than that it was good. I’ll be back to try the wings… The hot sause will have ur noise running but my mouth isn’t hot, kinda weird but it’s flavorful.

My first time here at LA Jerk Shack. Customer service was great Arthur was very nice to my brother and I. I ordered the jerk burrito and it was really good :)! Will be coming back for the tacos and the bowls :).

I’ve been looking to try small restaurants in my neighborhood and found LA Jerk Shack which opened about a month ago. I ordered jerk wings with sweet and spicy sauce and they were pretty good although next time I will order hot sauce because I wanted my wings to be a little more spicy. The customer service was great and I am looking forward to going back to try the jerk chicken tacos.

Checked this place out today and I’m very glad I did! I had the chicken tacos, and two of my friends had a chicken bowl and steak burrito. Each of us finished every last bite and were very impressed. Delicious, flavorful and fresh. We also enjoyed some sweet potato fries. My only piece of advice is to believe them when they tell you that the hot sauce will be HOT.

Okay so I just had the steak burrito. It was my cheat meal and it was well worth it. Great service! They’ve only been open 3 weeks so I hope the service remains the way it was today. The mango chutney was delicious. I’ll definitely come back.

Once I found out that there was a new Jamaican fusion food spot around I had to give it a try. When I walked in I was welcomed by a very friendly and pleasant woman. She was very helpful and kept me informed during the process of preparing my order. I got a jerk steak burrito with lettuce, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, mangos, mango chutney, and mild salsa. It was amaziiiing. Love the mango chutney. The hot sauce is pretty spicy, so I got it on the side and used sparingly. The rice reminds me of this particular rice my mom makes, which I loooove. Everything was perfect.
I would definitely recommend this place. Great customer service. Delicious food. I was so pleased that I’m devoting my first Unilocal review to it.

Great service, Denise the nice lady preparing the food was extremely helpful. She explained to me that everything is made to order, so they run out of things. Sadly they ran out of rice so I couldn’t get the burrito, but the chicken tacos were a good substitute. I ordered the tacos spicy and was warned it came with a kick… The kick definitely was an understatement but it was still good.

The jerk chicken salad with mixed greens is refreshing. The mango dressing is superb. The mixed greens were fresh as well as the extra toppings. A definite must return!

Move over Mexican tacos! These jerk tacos are amazing! Love the flavor of the beef and chicken. toppings are fresh and plentiful! Place is clean and cool vibe, employees are friendly, the main dish to go for are the tacos!!! Yum!!! Can’t wait to go back!

I had the Chicken Bowl with all toppings and mild sauce, which was actually really too spicy for me and I love hot and spicy. The rice was a bit too mushy for me, otherwise it was pretty good. All toppings were fresh.
The service was very friendly, personable and quick.
The place was very clean.

Good food for a good price. The tacos eith the mango and the rice were really good. I’m looking forward to trying the other items, especially the bowls. Definitely will be back soon. =)
