My daughter had her appointment on December 14th, It is now January 4th and still no glasses. The assistant told me today that they were never ordered and he is «looking for the glasses that were chosen», There is no followup from either assistant, Ms. Hernandez or Mr. Durr. Now I may have to take my daughter back to show them which glasses she originally chose. Suggestion: If the glasses take longer than 10 days to arrive, there should be a system in place to follow up on those orders. Also, when a customer calls to ask about glasses, there should be followup with the labratory to find out how much longer it will take. It is important to anticipate a customers needs so that a customer doesn’t find out that 13 business days later, the glasses WERENEVEREVENORDERED.

Poor customer service by a hood incompetent staff. My 19 year old daughter arrived for a scheduled appointment and the dizzy chick they had working at the front could not figure out the difference between her medical insurance plan was versus her vision plan. I then got on the phone and called the front office of this doctor after hearing that my daughter was having a problem being seen and explained that her vision plan was different from her medical plan but was given the same rude incorrect response over and over again before I could get a word in edgewise. I then called my insurance company to make sure and confirm that the provider was indeed in our vision network and low and behold this office was! By the time I reconfirmed everything with our insurance company my daughters eye appointment had came and went… Called this office back to complain to the office manager only to be connected with the same incompetent hood employee as before. Who then proceeded to apologize in a somewhat nasty matter of fact tone. The hilariously funny thing to this whole horrible experience is that this employee I had the pleasure of encountering not once but twice over the phone could not even enunciate her words properly as she poorly attempted to present her lack luster insincere apology for her incompetence. The best advice I could give anyone considering this place is to stay away unless you want to deal with employees that answer the phone, speak and behave like Bön Qui Qui.

So I’ve been having issues with my eyes recently and was referred to here by my insurance. I was kind of wary at first because it’s located in kind of a bad neighborhood but Dr. Curtis was very professional, kind, and courteous. The staff were nice and professional as well. All in all it was a very pleasant visit.
