Hooman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited almost two years ago. Purchased 32″ tires, blacked out rims, custom MX6 shocks and a 2″ lift kit for the car from the dealership. After purchasing my car, I was told I would receive it in a week. Two weeks later, I was still waiting for my car, and no one at the dealership would answer my calls. Once I received the car, the shocks were missing. They proceeded to tell me that I had never purchased them (I paid 1,300 $ for them originally), and demanded that I pay again if I wanted shocks (which I did due to my frequent off-​roading trips). After they reinstalled the shocks, which took another 2 weeks, the refused to realign my car, which is standard practice for installation centers following the installation of shocks. A couple days ago, a friend of mine, who owns multiple Jeeps and is an expert in the brand, told me that I had been ripped off. Hooman charged me $ 2,000 for a two inch lift kit (1k per inch), but they only installed a spacer, which runs way less than $ 100 per inch. I called every single person in the dealership, but no one addressed my issue. Hooman and Rayan Nissani are great businessmen, but horrible people. They make a living off of ripping people off and employing unethical business practices. As a Persian, they bring a bad name to the Persian community, and they should be seriously reprimanded for their unethical and immoral ways. 1 star is 1 too many for this dealership. Stay away at all costs.

Of course the 1 star is only to be able to write this review. I traded in my car on May 9^th 2014 and yesterday, January 10^th 2015, I finally got a confirmation letter that my trade in had been paid off! I spoke with managers, salesmen and the freaking owner and nobody had a definitive answer for my problem. They give you the same bullshit line and expect you to roll with it. A class action law suit is underway and anyone who wants in on it is encouraged to hit me up!

This feedback is for Hooman car dealership, for Evan Reis. It’s been a couple weeks since we purchased a car from Hooman. I couldn’t be more satisfied with car and service we received. Our experience was great. Evan was great in delivering what exactly we wanted. He is an awesome salesmen! Hooman should feel lucky to have him part of there team! WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN THE HISTORY OF MY CAR OWING LIFE. We bought a Jeep Cherokee from here last year. When we purchased the vehicle we bought an additional back up camera for it and they took months install it, because we kept getting the run-​around.
First they said they didn’t have that specific camera that my jeep needed, then they said that the technician wasn’t available. I spent many hours on the phone trying to coordinate for someone to help us get the backup camera WE PAID for installed. It finally happened a few months AFTER we purchased it.
NOW though, another problem. For some reason the back up camera stopped working when our board froze. So now we have been trying to coordinate for WEEKS for someone from Hooman to help us get it fixed. My husband has been talking to a Wendy who promises to call us back with an update on when we can go and get this fixed, but she never does. Every time we call, we keep getting transfered to Wendy or to another person in the Service department, but we keep getting the run-​around, and never get a FIRM day on when we can get our back up camera fixed. MY elderly Mother-​in-​Law drives this car and uses it to pick up our son from preschool in a very, very busy parking lot with a lot of little kids and having the back up camera is essential and is a SAFETY concern.
This is not only STRESSFUL but costly, because we are taking a lot of time away from our schedules and our families to keep calling, only to get transferred and then ignored.
I HONESTLY don’t know what else to do, do I just show up to the Dealearship? Making phone calls isn’t working. I have been a car owner for over 30 years, and this is THE WORST SERVICE department I have ever had to deal with. I advise HOOMAN to get a better, more effecient staff, because I would never buy from this company ever again, or encourage anyone else to do so. Very dissapointed.

Ive had my Jeep serviced here 4 times now since I bought it, let me just say as having owned about a dozen different cars and a few different brands and makes, this is the absolute worst dealership on earth its so bad that I don’t know if i would ever buy a Jeep ever again even though I love the car.
Oil changes 4 – 6 hours with an appointment, one time left my car dirty with trash and didn’t even remove plastic covers, another time i waited while my car ready for an hour and nobody told me, then it took them another 35 minutes to ring me up, they never call you to give you progress updates on any of my services and try ringing them up on phone and getting a service adviser it just rings and rings and then after several tries you get a Voice Mail & both times they didn’t call back. My jeep had been in service 4 days for minor problem, and no phone calls or updates, took me 25 minutes of calling to finally get through on the 3^rd day and they atleast offered me a loaner.
This dealer sucks I am hoping Santa Monica is better then this, I miss Walker Burgie Chrysler and I wish Huntington Beach Jeep was closer.

I’m an optimist, but this place — avoid it. I’ve had several issues with my car already and was really disappointed with the sales process for my new jeep grand cherokee that i bought there in late December. I felt like the deal wasn’t good at all and felt like i was pressured into a deal that i should have walked from. Now it’s been 5 months and i still don’t have my license plates. To be honest, I wish I could turn the car back in, minus my payments to date, get my down payment back and walk away. So disappointed. What a let down.

The WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. ALL of the sales and rentals reps were rude and had an attitude every time I came into the office. SELINE was the worst of them all! Rather than trying to help find a solution for a mistake that they made, she just shook her head and said no to all of my questions and recommendations. Finally, a rep attempted to help resolve the $$ issue that they all didn’t understand. I will NEVER be bringing my jeep for service here again (Jose the service man was nice) though my car runs great, it should never be this difficult to resolve an issue that THEY made. I recommend taking your business to a different Hooman if your car is under warranty and make sure you have everything typed out in big bold print for them.

This place is a joke. Hands down, the worst experience you’ll ever have. I’ve seen these people finance two people for cars and then two months later, call you ASKING FOR THE CAR BACK because they lied about the financing going through.
And if you buy a car here, don’t expect to see your plates in the mail for MONTHS. Still waiting on mine and it’s been three.
If you call them, they don’t call back.
And don’t even get me started on the customer service! Paul Jacobs, in finance, is the most disrespectful person I’ve ever met in my life. He belittles you constantly and if you voice a problem with how he’s speaking to you, he straight up WALKS AWAY from you and pretty much says your opinion is irrelevant. If something goes wrong in their financing department, he acts as if it is YOUR fault.
The owners are FRAUDS and CROOKS. Their employees are poorly trained and RUDE. And you might just have to give your car back in a couple months because their financing department is incompetent.
All in all, I make sure to warn everyone I know buying a car to avoid this place at all costs.

This is my experience with the service department at Hooman. But a quick back story, I’ve been taking my 2012 Jeep to HB since I purchased it, unfortunately my service advisor moved and left HB. But he was awesome! I think all the guys I met in the service department there are fantastic, knowledgeable, helpful and on top of that they all drive Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep. But I live up in LA and couldn’t always take the time and drive that far. So I’m looking for a Service department closer to home with the quality and class of HB. Unfortunately I couldn’t find it at Hooman.
I called ahead to the dealership to find out who would be the recommended service advisor and confirm what was needed for my next service. I reached out to Melissa, who is the only thing positive I can say about my overall experience. I left her a voicemail, stating my request. Too bad I missed her return call (Melissa is listed as the manager and the one replying to the Unilocal reviews). But on her voicemail, she sounded very professional, caring and nice and understood what I was trying to accomplish, so I was hopeful in finding a new service home. I stated in my voicemail that I found her contact through Unilocal and I’m looking for a new service department to continue my Jeep Authorized service. I wanted to find out who she recommended as who was the most knowledgeable and helpful among her team. She recommended Kirk (who had a couple of positive mentions on Unilocal) and that an Arlene would be calling me to find out more information in order to set me up with an appropriate appointment. Melissa understood my concerns, but that’s where the hope and customer service ends.
Arlene called, but she lacks the same courtesy and professionalism. She was blunt and unhelpful and she can be considered rude. I needed to know what service and maintenance was recommended, although I knew what was needed I wanted to see what their service department would recommend according to my mileage and what was suggested by Jeeps manuals. I wanted to confirm with their knowledge if my car was due just for an oil change, what inspections are done etc, I also wanted to know how long would it take and if it were a longer service, could I get a rental? Arlene new the rental part (you get a discounted rental if needed) I also asked if I could speak with Kirk for my other questions. She didn’t say anything, I was the last to speak and after half a minute of silence without a cordial warning I was placed on hold. I waited minute and hung up. I contacted Melissa again who was able to address my questions and set me up with an appointment. But I still needed to find out from Kirk what he suggested to keep my Jeep (with MOPAR warranty) running optimally, if the parts for my recall were available and if water pooling in a Jeep trunks was a known issue and what it would take to fix. I also want to ask if they had the right tires for my car. I thought Melissa said she’d have him contact me, but I also left a voicemail and I also tried calling a day later to confirm my car appointment. I never heard from him, none the less I was able to confirm my appointment.
So on ³⁄₂₅ I had an appointment @ 7AM. I arrived promptly and there were 3 cars ahead of me. I was greeted promptly by Jose and I informed him I had an appointment with Kirk. He went to tell Kirk, but instead of Kirk Jose came back and stated he would start the process. Jose was nice but he wasn’t a service advisor. He looked at my Jeep and asked me if it was a Laredo or a Latitude? How horrible is that? You don’t know the difference?! So after all my efforts to seek out service advisor, I’ve been brushed off.
After all I went through to try and convey my reason for visiting, Jose asked I was there just for an oil change. I was hoping by my mileage they would tell me what was recommended. I already knew that an oil change is all I needed. Since I didn’t hear from Kirk I ended up getting new tires a day before from Westcoasttires. Great place! Way better service and trust in workmanship than Hooman. I no longer felt Hooman was credible so I simply just got an oil change. In the end I never met Kirk. The oil change was done in an appropriate time but the end invoice is not as detailed to what was done and what was found compared to an HB invoice. Jose never provided a final report of what was done and how the Jeep looked. As I waited out side, they drove my car into the lot across the street. I think if your client is waiting, perhaps keeping it close would save more time.
I never spoke with the advisor Kirk, he never returned my calls. I tried to establish a credibility with service there, but alas that was a failure. I’m headed back to HB. It’s worth the drive.
A side note, I couldn’t wait inside. I don’t care about the bad coffee or the temperature of the room. But if you leave 9 cars running in the showroom and 2 of them Charges for 10 – 15 minutes, it’s pretty loud!

If I could give them ZERO stars I would…
First off… my boss came here to get an oil change for his car and he never got a call to pick up his car. When I called, they said I needed to talk to the service guy who worked on his car but every time I called no one he NEVER answered his phone. After calling numerous times we finally was able to pick up his car a week later… Apparently at Hooman it takes a week to get an oil change.
Secondly… my boyfriend just bought a car from here and the only reason why he purchased the car from here was because the listing price was such a good deal. When he told the saleswoman that he wanted to purchase the car, the manager came out and told him that they made a mistake on the price. However, showing the price on the car is an offer and when the customer accepts the offer they form a contract. After giving my boyfriend a hard time about the car, they finally sold him the car. BUT after he purchased the car they did not give him a second key fob. they said they couldn’t find it and they were going to look for it and contact him. Surprisingly enough, they did not call him. So I called… and I have yet to hear back from anyone.

³⁄₁₄ 12:13PM — Called Hooman — Spoke to Elizabeth (operator) — transferred my call to Chirs but it rang to voice mail which is not even his voice mail. its Alex Patty’s from the finance department voice mail, left a voice mail and did not get a call back
³⁄₁₅ 2:02PM — Called Hooman — Spoke to Elizabeth (operator) — transferred my call to Chris, of course he didn’t answer but left a voice mail (on Alex Patty’s voice mailbox) — then called back and spoke to Elizabeth again and told her I am not getting a hold of anyone so she transfers me again and this time it rang to Chris’s voicemail — left a message and still no call back
³⁄₁₆ 12:06PM — Called Hooman — Spoke to Elizabeth (operator) — once again transferred my call to Chris’ voice mail which is Alex Patty’s voice mailbox — left a voice mail — called Elizabeth back asking what the other options were and all she did was transfer me again to Chris’s phone.
This is absolutely the worst service and I keep on getting the runaround.

This dealership is a joke, I took my car here a couple of months ago and they couldn’t find the keys to my car when I went to pick it up ! I had to go back home to get my spare key … Then once they found them I had to go pick them up (2 weeks later !)
Not happy, today I went back since I Hear a strange noise on the tires. They asked me to leave my car but wouldn’t offer me a loner !!
I guess these people are not used to sell cars over 80 000 us … I Own a grand Cherokee SRT 2015 which is the most expensive car they sell and I expect a decent treatment .
My other car is a Mercedes, these kind of things DO NOT happen at their dealership .
I’ll think about all this next time I’ll buy a car.

Broke down in LA last month. Had the vehicle towed here. 2013 Durango, total transmission. Covered 100% warranty but took a month to fix.

So my husband sells cars however his lot could not get the car I wanted so he found it at this lot. So after 3 days of working with Ali over the phone we drove from sf bay and 2 hours later I left with my car. With a better deal then I expected to pay. So thank you Ali. To anyone in LA area I recommend coming here. But if your in sf Bay you have to go see Ruben at hilltop Chrysler jeep.

I came into Hooman today to get an oil change on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I was checked in by Kirk, who stated that the wait time would be two hours. Kirk was friendly & professional & even informed me that he drives a Jeep as well. After checking in I head over to the waiting area. I had never been in this new waiting area, only the old one across the street. This new building/​area is really nice. Comfy chairs & a tv to watch. There’s a popcorn machine & a broken coffee machine as well. Other reviews mention that it’s cold in the service department, well not today. It was kind of stuffy & warm. The next guy that comes in after me quickly takes off a few layers. So as I’m waiting I decide to walk up the street to have lunch while I wait. I get a call while I’m walking back to Hooman that my truck is ready.
So, what do I get back to… A DIRTY TRUCK! Since I’ve purchased this truck, Hooman has NEVER washed it once. I purchased it at night, the car wash department was closed, fine, that’s understandable. But they’ve changed my oil at least a half dozen times, when California wasn’t in a drought. Why wasn’t it washed then? Understaffed? Who knows. But I do know, people go out of their way to bring their vehicle to Hooman for an oil change, there’s Jiffy Lubes all over the place. They come to a dealer for the best service possible. That includes a courtesy car wash.

The service department staff is fine.
The problem is the temperature in the waiting area. It was 62 degrees, which is extremely cold when you aren’t moving! I had to use my Grandson’s Ninja Turtles blanket to stay warm. It was so cold I had to sit outside, then a breeze ran me back into the cold building. I had to wait for approximately 2 ½ hrs in the freezing cold!
I had to drink some hot water since there wasn’t any tea, cocoa or coffee!!!
Bad customer service!!!

This review is for their service department– not sales. I had to bring my 2012 Charger in for a recall and Chrysler Customer Care assured me soot had my parts and the soonest available appointment, done and done. Brought it and was told it would be about 2 – 4 hours. I had literally nothing better to do so I decided I’d wait it out.
Their waiting area is in the showroom and it was freezing cold. Their showroom is an old warehouse or hanger that has been remodeled. Apparently with a crappy heater. I got there when they opened 7am and thought maybe they just cut it on and it needed some time. Well it’s now 9:49 and I’m still freezing, so are the people sitting around me. We’re all talking about it right now, judging the management/​ownership. (Lol) They have this really dope looking Starbucks coffee machine but it was out of order, lame. Their water machine was working tho. So the warm water was nice, said no one ever.
Sadly I’ve been to maybe 5 or 6 Dodge dealers in California for my car and while it’s annoying it has made me some what of an expert of Dodge dealerships and this one needs some heat (in December) and a coffee machine. That’s all you gotta do guys, that’s all your customers want. I digress. I strolled the lot, smoking and scoping out the new new for maybe 30 minutes and wasn’t approached once by a sales person. Which is cool, I’m not tryina buy a car but I am used to them swooping in and trying to convince me to trade my boo in and nothing. I even opened up a new Charger in the showroom and the only sales person I saw (who had his coffee, ahem) only gave a casual ‘good morning’ before barricading himself in his office.
Back to the service, both recalls were handled and I was out of their by 10:30. Their tike estimates were correct and their side of things was were great. –1 for the waiting area fiasco.

Took my car in for service early June 2015. I got Ismael as my helper. They fixed my cigarette lighter, and since my car key was broken, told me if I paid $ 170 they would order a new one to arrive in 6 days. Over the phone I said I’d be there in 15mins to pay for the key. I showed up 18mins later.
Nobody could find him. Nobody knew how to call him. There were 4 service guys sitting at their desks just staring at my girlfriend’s butt as we walked around looking for Ismael. Nobody helped or cared.
Found him 10mins later.
On top of that, once he finished the paperwork for my key– he told me to pay at the cashier. I spent another 10 minutes walking between the cashier & Ismael’s desk– cause NOBODY HAD A CLUE where to get my paperwork or how to get it printed so I could pay! The place was empty! I had to stand around for 20+ mins with my Visa in my hand, just to pay for a new key. Nobody had ANY sense of urgency at all. They were all just speaking to each other in Spanish and laughing.
2 days later I got a VM from their customer service person «Myra» who wanted to know if we received good service. I called Myra back the next day and left a voicemail with my phone # to call me back. It’s been 9 days since I left Myra a voicemail, and Myra still hasnt called me back.
But after the initial 6 days of waiting for the key, I waited 2 more days, and still heard nothing. So I visited in person. I told him I was going to review them on Unilocal.He’s been very helpful ever since I told him that. He hopped on the phone and said «oh sorry, its going to be another 7 days for the key. They messed up.»
Today is now day 13 after I first ordered that key. Supposed to be 6 days.
I will never return to this place. Even though its the only Chrysler dealer this side of LA.

When I buy a car, I’m a tough customer to please because I expect the best when spending that much money. I’m aggressive at getting a good deal and will just walk away from a dealership if I feel like they’re not honest or play too many of those infamous tricky dealer games.
Luckily, at Hooman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, they knocked it out of the park with their exquisite customer service and treated me with a ton of respect. They also gave me a GREAT deal on my new Scat Pack Challenger I had custom built.
My salesman, Jorge Haro, was beyond awesome. He was very communicative and friendly along this whole journey. He worked with me to get the best pricing and all the options I wanted on my ordered car. Jorge was extremely chill and low key which I really liked. And he was very informative and responsive.
I had the opportunity to take my business elsewhere, but I really developed a friendly rapport with Jorge through this process and we got to know each other’s senses of humor. So I stayed loyal to our deal and I’m really glad I did because he was one of the best car salesmen I’ve dealt with.
Reza, the Internet sales manager, was great too because they were able to push my custom order through when other dealerships were being delayed with restrictions. He was very efficient at getting things done for my order.
After the deal was already finished and I was about to drive off the lot, a few other guys from the dealership gave me some great advice for keeping this car in great condition for a long time since it has the special SRT 6.4L Hemi engine. Chris and Evan’s deep love for Mopar Muscle Cars came through and they added some great tips before I left.
This is a beautifully remodeled dealership with a nice relaxing atmosphere. Hooman will give you a great deal and they also give you free oil changes for the life of your car and a couple other really cool perks that you get when you buy your vehicle from them.
I couldn’t be more stoked about my experience and wouldn’t hesitate buying another vehicle from Jorge and Hooman CDJR!
