Went here for lunch today because Don Rogelio’s was closed. Operated by a very nice family(or so it seems). The eating area is small and cute, and the prices are very reasonable. My friend received a sizable burrito(which she liked), and I had the chili rellenos(which were really tasty with a unique tomato based sauce). The tortillas are fresh, hot, and homemade! Definitely coming back.

MONSTERHANDMADETORTILLAS(Gorditas). Birria to die for. Awesome place for real mexican food. Street tacos made in the Mexico City(DF) style where Guadalupe learned her skills. Guadalupe is your host and she can really cook. She does have some unique salsas. She has items on the menu that you cannot find anywhere else in Los Angeles. Check out the menu that I put in the picture list. One order of nachos are almost more than two people can eat.

This is your average Mexican restaurant but D.F. style. The meat is rich in flavor specially the chicken. You have options of having your meat broiled or marinated as the«house special» Almost everything is cooked upon ordering so the wait can take a while but final product is done with freshness. Tortillas are hand made and they hot salsa is addicting, makes you want to drain your meal with the salsa.
