J’s(formerly Jimmy V’s) has AMAZING pizza. I’ve never felt the need to write a review, but this delivery deserved it! Super tasty, not a sweet sauce, thank goodness and a great price point. We’ve dined in and had it delivered. Honestly, it took me the least amount of time to place my order, than it did for ANY other restaurant in the area. Hands down; the best bargain for your buck, but more importantly, the best tasting pizza(sans Pizza Place).

Place is run by a fat lowlife alcoholic with pork chop sideburns nicknamed«Tubbs». He’s always drunk, so if you want to speak with a manager about bad service or the sweaty belligerent cook don’t bother, he won’t remember in the morning. The owners are just there to get wasted, so don’t bother telling them either. On the plus side the food is pretty decent and the cook will only berate you if you tell him your order is wrong. Edit: Removed unnecessary comments. The rest, however, is still true. And gave 4 stars instead of 1 because, you know, some of the servers and bartenders are really nice and a lot of cool people hang out here. And the food is actually really good and even though everybody hates him, the cook runs a tight and clean kitchen and knows his stuff. Tubbs though, he’s just useless.

This would be a five star review if the service was better. I understand this is a sports bar but there’s not many tv’s? Also if you sit at a low top table it seems as if they don’t have servers for those tables. The bartender and bar server pay way more attention to the customers sitting at the bar. The food is really good and at a reasonable price. I prefer their traditional wings over the boneless. I do recommend a burger or chicken sandwich because of the big portion and they use pretzel buns, yum. A couple different kinds of whiskey and coke that I’ve tried were unfortunately weak; will probably just stick to beer next time.

My friends and me did a Thursday chicken wing taste test between j’s and pugs. J’s definitely had the better wings, the were juicy and really could be eaten with just a little salt and pepper(the Thursday deal is .50¢ each). Pugs wings were .35¢ each but came out dry like chicken jerky. Pugs however did have a better sauce selection, but J’s still had better blue cheese and ranch dressing dips — hands down. On a side note, pugs had the better Thursday drink specials.

Don’t really go here much, But decided to go in and try their chicken wings on a thursday. Most places make you wait until 4ish 5pm before they do chicken wing specials. But they have all day .50 cent bone in breaded wings. That are actually delicious, The sauces are just plain normal buffalo sauce. But a very good place for some quick wings and cheap beers.

Awesome pizza, plus ½ price on Mondays. Reubens are my top pick for a sandwich. I love the atmosphere, my BFF and I call it our version of Cheers. Thank you Stephanie and Jason, we love your place. Jim & Rhonda

Not sure why but it seems like every time I am here, the service progressively worsens. It takes 5 – 10 minutes to get drinks and another 45 minutes to get our food. If you are in a hurry, this place is not for you. It’s great if you have a couple hours to spend but otherwise, you should steer clear. The food is good and the prices are not bad. That’s why they only get two stars. The service is just awful and the atmosphere is not the greatest either. Not so good for kids either; full bar atmosphere with a little bit of a club feel. I have came here at least ten times and I do not see myself going out of the way to go here. In fact, I’m not sure if I will be back at all.

I have been to this bar many times when it was the old Jimmy V’s. I have always enjoyed the location and atmosphere. This visit was no different. The staff was very friendly. It was a very cold day and everytime the front door opened I got a huge blast of cold air. They have an outside framed in entry way but no heater so all the smokers were letting cold air in eveyrtime they went out to smoke. I ordered the cheese curds and they were terrible. I was told that they had just hired a new chef so I hope they give him the ability to create a real menu with fresh products instead of the cheap processed frozen crap. The deal of the day seemed to be the half priced pizza and everyone that ordered them all seemed to be very pleased. Will have to try that next time!

This is J’s now. If you need to kick start your Sunday, stop here for breakfast – the biscuits and gravy by the new cook are seriously amazing.

A filthy, depressing hangout for lowlifes, criminals, and hillbillies. Bad liquor, food, and music.

We really like Jimmy V’s. The owner is working on making it a nightclub, bringing in performers. So far, my husband and I have been to 2 shows there in the last month or so — a blues band and a couple of comedy acts. They were actually pretty good. But the place was not filled, especially for the comedy acts. The promised $ 5 cover charge was not requested(for the comedy, none was asked for the band show), but we would have paid it. I don’t think that’s expensive, but it might put off some people. It’s a good date place, they serve food too, although we have not tried any yet. We would really like to encourage everyone to catch the shows at Jimmy’s. The drinks are priced right(LOTS of beers to choose from, drinks are well endowed), it’s a nice, friendly place, and it’s like ‘the only game in town’. We hope to see more shows there. Thank you, Jimmy V’s for making the effort and giving us a sweet place to go to that is local!
