I don’t go anywhere for the service. I go to a place for the product. There’s a person on the other side of the counter that hands me donuts & that’s good enough for me. Donuts are fresh & tasty.

It’s 2:30 AM and I decided I wanted to get a doughnut, so I head over to Winchell’s in Indio, across from Starbucks since they are open 24 hours. Selection isn’t bad, plenty of drink options and the like, and the gentleman who helped me was nice enough. I get home and bite into the doughnut and it’s nothing special; not very moist and lacks much flavor at all. Perhaps it’s been sitting out since the morning before but that’s no excuse. If you have no other option at 2 in the morning and you’re in Indio, then this is it for doughnuts if you don’t want to go a gas station. Otherwise, there are far better options.

Lightest and fluffiest donuts I have ever had. They are made fresh right in front of you. Look for the guy rolling in the window. My grandfather owner a spud-​nut shop in Richmond, CA. This place is how a doughnut was meant to be.

I’ve seen better selection of doughnuts elsewhere– I remember Winchell’s having real good doughnuts, so when we were in a town that had Winchell’s it was one of the places I wanted to go in and see what they had, I doubt I would come back to a Winchell’s though, to bad they once had pretty good doughnuts, not anymore.

This place has a lot of tasty looking donuts with friendly workers. We had to make a quick stop here to grab a few round eclaires and be on our way. They were so good I forgot to take a fricking picture of them lol!

What a variety of donuts.. price was very good and the donuts were so tasty. The staff knows what customer service is all about. 24 hour donut shop too! And next to Starbucks for your coffee fix.

If it weren’t for the bald headed thugs and homeless people screaming it would be a decent place. I went in there earlier this week with my wife and two low life bald headed gangsters started saying something to my wife. It was hard to understand but it was not good so I told him off a bit (probably a bad idea). Basically the area is really invested with bad folks. I hope that the owners can have more of a police presence to stop the potential problems.

This is the best donut shop I have found in the valley so far. Are there others yes, but this one is the best I have tried. Their french curlers, old fashions, and apple fritters are tasty. They also take credit cards which is great since a lot of these small donut shops don’t.
Only negative aspect, is I feel that the store floor is a little dirty, but you can’t win them all.

I stopped in this location for a Winchell’s dozen –14 donuts and a dozen of glazed for some clients I was visiting. What’s great about Winchell’s is that they take credit cards. This location has convenient parking too.
The server was efficient and she was friendly. I was in and out within minutes. I tried a glazed donut and it was large and not overly sweet like the other guys.
I’ll definitely return here again.

Aside from TB’s need for caffeine in the morning, he has a sweet tooth… well, actually both of us and it doesnt take much time for him to think to pull over to the Starbucks beside this joint so we can hit two birds at the same time.
He had a very early tee-​off time…6:30 am can you believe that… so we need all the waking up that we can get.
4 stars for the chorizo bagel.
