I cannot tell you how greatful I am for these honest employees, like a dummy I forgot my wallet in a shopping cart. It had a couple hundred dollars in cash and all my cards. I returned in hopes for just my cards expecting someone to have emptied me out if turned in. I was so greatful to find that the employees found it and were looking for me with everything in it. I’ve not been able to shop in stores that do not have electric carts. Today I was in a wheelchair, so I was excited to go inside a Marshalls. I was not dissapointed. My husband did a quick looky loo, and I sent him to nap in the car, while I took my time and savored being independant to shop without being hurried. I found two essential oils to add to my handmade soaps and body butters. Good price, as these oils can run a mint. I found a wonderful Neem sead hair conditioner. Because I needed two hands for the wheel chair, I was having a hard time balancing my items. I asked an associate if they had a basket I could balance on my lap. Two associates got me a Marshalls shopping bag that I attached to the back of the wheelchair. I wish I would have gotten their names. They were so sweet, and exactly what good customer service is about. I was asked no less then 4 times by associates if I needed any help. THIS is the result of good associate training. The manager of the store should be very proud of his co workers. The store was clean, and not torn apart like Ross down the road was. I took my time and looked at EVERYTHING, except the clothing. I will go back in the spring when I have money to spend on new clothing. They hsd a nice selection of shoes as well. Nice shoes, nice boots. I’ll be back!

This use to be one of my favorite stores(shopped here ALL the time, spent too much money, LoL), until today. I went in to exchange a pair of shoes, I didn’t have the receipt(my fault I know), and there was no «tag» on the shoes. I purchased them about a month ago and I brought them back the way I purchased them. I know I wouldn’t have been able to get my money back, however, I would assume store credit would have been fine since they didn’t have the shoe any more(but some that were VERY similar in color, and the same brand). They told me that«they look like they’ve been worn, and we don’t have them any more»…that was it… and that was what the manager said. NOTHING. I bought these shoes like this, in the exact box I bought them in, brought them back looking the exact way I purchased them. I never thought to look at the bottom of the shoe, you would just assume they were new in the beginning. I didn’t try them on in the store when I bought them because in that brand I have the same pair of shoes(just a different color), so I bought it in the same size, not thinking I would have an issue. After scanning another shoe(because the ones I was purchasing did not have the tag), I took them home. About a week later I decided I was going to wear them, put one on, realized it was too small, and put it back in the box. Searched for my receipt(give or take for 2 weeks or so), couldn’t find it, so just thought I could at least exchange them for something since I couldn’t get my money back. Employees were nice, manager was rude. Probably won’t go back to this Marshalls again! :-( FYI: Found this on the website regarding the return policy: Returns with receipts over 30 days or without a receipt will receive store credit only. Just so we’re clear… I figured I would have been able to get a store credit(or exchange).

I went to this Marshalls right before Christmas, so I’m not sure if it is such a mess all of the time or just during holiday seasons. I was pretty pleased with the selection of items they had & the service wasn’t completely horrible. I recommend this place to people that really want to shop at Marshalls, but don’t have another, better location close by.
