History

Established in 1911.

Originally known as Whittier Vulcanizing, Daniels Tire Service was founded in 1911, by R.F. Daniels. The one man operation gradually grew, and in 1929 Arden G. Daniels assumed control of the company. Ten years later, 1939, he established a business relationship with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, a relationship that still exists today. The company operates 5 commercial truck tire centers, 7 automotive service centers, 2 combo commercial/​retail stores, and a Goodyear retread plant. The business is still family owned, with the fourth generation of the Daniels family entering the business in 1993.

Hector has worked at this location since we opened it in 1993. Hector knows the name of almost every customer who comes in. He is a familiar face to the customers, they all like seeing him there, and they trust his management of the store. He is bilingual, and gives every customer the best service he can.
