Twisted Sisters

I was excited to come here because my husband and I had to have more B. Happy Peanut Butter (made locally in Zionsville — and utterly addicting!) and Twisted Sisters was listed as a retailer who carried it locally. Unfortunately, I discovered after making the drive that they are closed Sunday’s and Monday’s in January. I messaged them to update their hours and they were so sweet and apologetic about my inconvenience. The next day, I showed up to pick up the PB and not only was the store so beautiful and bright, full of so many fun items and locally made goods/​snacks, they gave me a beautiful mug for free since I came back. Their generosity, clean store and variety of items has me as a customer for life. I highly recommend checking this gem of a store out, located next to Jimmy Johns. Shop local. Eat local. Buy local. Support Twisted Sisters!

I have had the privilege of getting to know these three ladies just from going in to the store and can tell you that they are awesome. This store is absolutely the best gift store in town. I try to go in at least twice a month and go more frequently when I need a quick gift. I love this place and know that if you visit you will love it too! This is a must visit!!!

Went here based on reviews and glad I did! They have a wide variety of stuff, and I was able to get a bunch of Christmas gifts including: a sports-​themed beer cozy, a cake-​in-​a-​jar and some gourmet peanut butter. Everything was locally made, which was an added bonus for my family and friends out of state!

I’m so lucky to have Twisted Sisters gift shop only a short car or bike ride away. It’s one of my go-​to spots to pick up unique birthday or holiday gifts. A few years back, Twisted Sisters was located in an abandoned Taco Bell off 71^st street. Recently, they upgraded to a spot off Binford in the same complex as Starbucks, Marco’s Pizza and Jimmy John’s.
I love to just stop in and explore. They carry locally made, handmade, and unique specialty items that you might not be able to find anywhere else. For all of you B. Happy Peanut Butter junkies, they always seem to have a variety of flavors in stock. Their inventory is constantly changing, so you will find something new every time you visit. That also means that the next time you visit, that one of a kind gift you had your eye on might be gone. They have a nice selection of whimsical and even saucy greeting cards for all occasions. I adore their stemware. They have a wide variety of hand painted wine and martini glasses. I have my eye on a hand painted IU wine glass. Hoo Hoo Hoosiers! They also have an extensive area of accessories including specialty jewelry, scarves, and so much more.
I could go on and on and on, but it won’t do this place any justice. If you are ever in the area or waiting to pick up your pizza from Marco’s next door or after a quick stop at Starbucks, be sure to stop by and take a peek. It’s definitely well worth your time! Twisted Sisters is the kind of gift shop that you either fall in love with or you don’t. Started by, you guessed it, a couple of twisted sisters, Twisted Sisters features a solid variety of both decorative and practical items that are great for gifts and great for the home. I’ve been to this location on multiple occasions and am always immediately greeted by one of the sisters or their latest partner in the establishment, Judy.
The store is filled with items from artists both local and national. I will say that I’ve seldom been in Twisted Sisters that I didn’t find something I want, though I’ll also say that some of the items seem a touch overpriced. For the most part, that’s the premium you pay for supporting local businesses and artists. However, for folks on a more limited budget Twisted Sisters might be a bit beyond reach.
The store is nicely located and whenever you visit you’ll likely be greeted by one of their very friendly poodles (One of whom isn’t particularly fond of wheelchairs, but always calms down after a few moments). The store is also, I’m guessing, about 80−90% wheelchair friendly — a fairly high percentage for a fairly small gift shop. That said, you’ll definitely want to watch the corners if you visit as there are breakables everywhere!
Twisted Sisters is definitely a gem of a gift shop with friendly staff and unique items that you’ll not likely find anywhere else. The store is located in a strip mall, though if you need the curb cut you’ll want to make sure to park at the end with Jimmy John’s as it’s the only end with an actual curb cut.

My absolute favorite gift shop ever! The Sisters have excellent taste with a touch of the eclectic thrown in for good measure. Everyone is so helpful and fun. I love going to this store!

I really like wandering in this store. Very unique gifts and quite a selection of items to choose from. The prices were fairly reasonable, but I wish they were open a bit later in the weekday evenings.

Visiting Twisted Sisters is an experience in itself, from all the lovely items to buy to the little poodles. There isn’t another boutique around that has a consistent flow of new quality products to buy. I would recommend this store to anyone I know, the sisters will always make sure oyu are taken care of.
