The RoomPlace specializes in full-​room furnishings for the budget-​savvy and style conscious consumer. Our living room sets offer stylish leather or fabric sectionals and sofas in a variety of styles including modern, contemporary and traditional. Our bedroom sets and dining room sets are as diverse as our living room pieces – with many styles and colors to choose from, shoppers may purchase an entire room for a low price while not having to sacrifice style. We also have a wide selection of mattresses, kids furniture and home accents.

History

Established in 1912.

Our history begins with Sam Berman. He founded Harlem Furniture by selling furniture door-​to-​door. He was successful, and decided to open a storefront which became Harlem Furniture. In 1985, Harlem Furniture began its expansion.

Harlem was changed to «The RoomPlace» to reflect our company’s strength in total room packaging. Since that time, The RoomPlace has continued to open new stores throughout Chicagoland and Indiana.

Now headquartered in Lombard, IL, The RoomPlace operates 23 furniture showrooms throughout Chicagoland and Indianapolis. Our newest location in Plainfield is located just outside Indianapolis, becoming our fifth location in Indiana.

Manager

Jasmine Sakic, our Vice President of Customer Care Center joined The RoomPlace family in 2004. Throughout the years, she held various roles within the organization. Her dedication and commitment to Customer Service is shown in her strong team relations within The RoomPlace’s internal operations as well as to our valued Customers.

Customer Service is an integral part of The RoomPlace’s value proposition. As the Customer Care leader, she is passionate about our Customers’ experience. She is unwaveringly committed to evolving our Customer Service procedures.

Jasmine strives to build trust and loyalty with The RoomPlace Customers by being a resource and advocate for all Customer concerns, feedback and comments.
