Fabulous ladies, beautiful setting, laid back atmosphere, fantastic service! I can not express how absolutely amazing the beauty bar is! I will definitely keep coming back… if you haven’t tried this place you’ll kick yourself for not going sooner. No one else has anything on these girls! Love, love, love the beauty bar at Geist! Spectacular!

I’ve had the pedicure services and eyebrow services. As for the pedicure I would say it is ok on par with pretty much any other nail salon. I prefer getting my pedicure done here because you can have an appointment, it’s clean and I’m not a fan of discount nail salons. As for the eyebrows I just love Jordan she does a great job and is very conscious of giving the customer what that want.

I love it when I make it a place that I have booked marked. Where to start??? It was my birthday this past Saturday and while I really wanted to indulge in sugar pie w/​the Unilocal Elites, I was told my day would begin at 10 AM and that I better not have my hands in it. Just get dressed and move my feet. Since this is not a review about my fabulous birthday, I will cut right to the point. I had an 11 am appointment at the Beauty Bar !!! YAYYYYYY!!! Perfect surprise and the BB did NOT let me down.
Lets talk customer service: The ladies are very friendly and upbeat. For the early cold morning of 1/​23, they didn’t seem to have lost an ounce of sleep. They were cheerful, having lightweight conversations with the customers and also providing outstanding customer service. I wish I could remember the names of the young lady that took care of me. She was pretty awesome and helped make the day special. After showing me the ropes and taking my coat and scarf, she brought me a drink menu and gave me a chance to take a look at it and my nail polish. I was there for a mani/​pedi. I was informed of the birthday club and how that worked, which includes $ 5 for your birthday month.
As I got my pedicure done, she brought over my first glass of Reisling. She also went ahead and key’d me in on the kiosk sign in for the club so that I could receive my five bucks (which I used on a glass of wine). The drinks on the menu range from hard drinks to a few selected beers and of course every girl’s favorite, WINE !!! There were a few different wine selections, all priced very well. The pedi area has a flat screen and open windows so there is a lot of light throughout the building. I think upstairs is the salon part of it. I never ventured up there. The pedi was wonderful. The nail tech was gentle with my feet and I didn’t leave with too many layers of foot buffed off and now red (i’ve had that happen before).
The manicure’s are done at the ‘bar’ area. There is a long bar with several stations, spaced apart with enough breathing room for everyone. Music is playing and it sounded like Top 40; pretty good selections. There was something for everyone to bob their head, drink wine and get pampered to. Another flatscreen was in the mani area. Again my nail tech did an amazing job on my manicure. She got it all done in about an hour, and offered me another glass of Reisling, to which I buzzily obliged !!!
I will definitely be back here. Many more times. I’ve already told my sister that we MUST make a girl’s date here. How can you go wrong with wine and pampering. The bathrooms were even inviting. It’s a one person bathroom and the toilet is separated from the sink and a table of carefully folded towels (to dry your hands and toss in the used basket). There was art on the wall, good lighting, a nice sized mirror and privacy that didn’t make you second guess whether or not the entire building could hear you. I unfortunately dropped a ring in the toilet, but that’s another story, another day. #Splat
The Beauty Bar is very inviting. Again, I love the natural light which is abundant, the open air which is breathable and the friendliness of all the staff. Leaving with my nails and toes done in a near a metallic looking gold color and a birthday buzz from glasses of Reisling is nothing to complain about. Matter a fact, it deserved a Unilocal nod. I’ll be back!!!

I am writing this review about 1 ½ weeks after getting my gel manicure. I want to start by saying I have been getting acrylic manicures for about 10 years. I have tried gel manicures before but they never lasted and never held up. I am rough on my nails and since my nails are weak from the acrylic, gel never lasted. I decided to give it another try and came here. I can’t believe I am saying this but my nails look great! No chipping or breaking! I’m shocked! The nail tech warned me that they gel may chip early because of my weak nails and offered to redo any chipped nails if chip earlier than 2 weeks. But no chipping! I will definitely be back! The only con is the price. It is expensive but I’m afraid to go anywhere else. Haha

I have a few pros and a few cons.
Pros. Beautiful décor. The ambiance is luxe. I have been several times and have gotten pedicures that last for three weeks. And who doesn’t want a fancy cocktail while being pampered?
Cons. I got a gel manicure for the first time. First of all it was more pricey than my local salon near home but I decided to splurge. However to my disappointment, the gel manicure did not last. My manicurist said it would last at least 2 weeks. 3 weeks if I was careful. After 4 days, all the polish has chipped. (See photo) I’m extremely disappointed. I did not spend $ 50 this week to have a chipped manicure right before traveling for the holidays. Extremely disappointed.

I was here yesterday to see my hair stylist. I follow Carrie everywhere she goes. This has been a great change for us. Classy place not gossipy like others. Light, airy, calming atmosphere. I drink champagne with my hair cuts. Massage chair while I’m waiting on the color to set. Hand massages while they wash my hair. I’ve had facials by Jordan. Always leave feeling my skin rejuvinated. My daughter and I had manicures there. We always feel pampered when we leave. :) staff is very friendly and accommodating. They remember me by name when I call and I’m fairly new here.

Courtney was amazing! Have never had my nails stamped and I’m obsessed now! Hopefully I can find something close in Phoenix but if not you’ll see me in Indy again soon!

Yes! Yes! Yes! You can’t go wrong! Great service! Great drinks! And there’s food and a great view of the reservoir near by. Tina was excellent and the bar tender was attentive. Great customer service!!! I will be back!!! I made the track from San Diego, CA. It’s that awesome!!!

Very sad my pedicure didn’t even last two weeks. I thought by paying more than strip-​mall prices it would last at least 4 weeks but I was wrong. Polish started chipping off in just over a week. My pedi chair was also under an air vent and I was freezing the entire time. So much for relaxation. My brow wax was good though! I’d go back for that but no more mani/​pedis!

Nice atmosphere. Calming décor. House music and bar TV sound clashed a bit. Also didn’t like TV at pedi area. No thanks, Dr Phil, I’d rather be surrounded by calming sounds. Pedi was great, and the employees are very nice!

I am very conflicted about this review. I went in with a groupon that I have been dreaming of using since February. I had pretty high hopes for this place given that everyone had given it a five star review. However, it pains me to say I didn’t receive a 5 star experience. First, I could not get anyone to answer the phone or give me a call back from voicemail, so we had to do a walk-​in. They eventually worked it out where my mom and I could both get in and At this point, I was feeling pretty good. They brought out my drink, which was delicious, and I got a great pedicure. When I went to pay, they started to tell me my groupon was for a bikini wax. I had read the groupon multiple times and knew that it did not say this anywhere. They eventually came back and said they would honor it after they realized I wasn’t backing down. My mom, on the other hand, had a pretty awful experience. It took two hours for a manicure and pedicure. Before we even got to the car, her fingernail was ruined. We are historically bad with this kind of thing so she sat under the dryer 3 times as long. When we got home, she realized both of her toes were destroyed. I felt pretty bad for her because we can’t drive the hour back to demand it be fixed. Overall, the atmosphere, the drinks, and the ladies are great, but the experience wasn’t worth it in the end. We won’t be going back that’s for sure!

The atmosphere is fun, comfortable and inviting. We’ve been helped by several people, and they are all amazing at what they do and super nice.
Did I mention all the Aveda products? I love Aveda, and very happy they use These products on me. :)

I live in Denver but am originally from Indy. In Denver, having some wine with your pedi is the norm; but Indy has never had a salon that serves until now. The last couple of times I’ve been back I’ve made sure to stop by Beauty Bar at Geist to get my drink on while getting pretty.
The first time I visited (October 2014), my mom, sister and I had champagne during our pedis, which turned out beautifully. I also got to try the Blonde Bombshell cocktail (with elderflower), which was AMAZING. The pedicure area has super comfortable leather massage chairs and plenty of mags. My pedi lasted for weeks (including the obligatory glitter party nail) and was very relaxing.
The second time I visited (January 2015), I got balayage by Kimber. Balayage is the softer cousin to highlights and ombré, with painted on color and no foils. Kimber did an amazing job and took her time to explain the technique to me as she went. While my color was developing, I got a nice foot soak and moisturizing massage — a pretty solid way to pass the time!
tl;dr…The Beauty Bar at Geist is a must-​go when in Indy!

I live in FL but was in the area and needed a manicure and pedicure so I went based on a friends recommendation. I tried 2 of their signature cocktails, both great! The staff was very attentive and made sure I had a pleasant experience.
I left the Beauty Bar relaxed (and of course ready to show off my new nails).
Ladies, thank you for a raising the bar! I appreciate your hospitality!

Where do I begin?!
The atmosphere is so modern and beautiful. I felt fancy just being there! Then the staff, so friendly and accommodating. I went from feeling fancy to feeling like a queen. Plus I left the salon feeling like I had made new friends. So far I have experienced their hair services and pedicure services and have loved both. I am going in for waxing soon and can’t wait! If it’s like their other services I am in for a treat!
Did I mention cocktails? Cocktails, people! Pampered and giddy is how I always leave BB@G!

Is it possible I was so relaxed after my pedi that I forgot to write a review? That’s what I’m going with. This place is amazing and who doesn’t love the idea of having a drink while getting pampered.
First, the décor is wonderful and so fresh. I was meeting some friends for a pedi (which is a rare treat for me) so I’m glad we chose this place to try out. I was greeted upon arrival and asked to choose a drink from the menu and choose a nail color. We were then walked over to the pedicure stations which held 5 or 6 chairs.
Bless the women who had to take off my dark green polish. She painstakingly (for her I’m sure) took it all off and got started on my pedicure. I will say it was probably the most relaxing and meticulous pedicure I ever had. I had their basic pedicure which included shaping, cuticle treatment, exfoliation, massage with rosemary mint lotion and then polish of course.
They are a full service salon and if you follow them on Facebook and Twitter I know there are daily specials to take advantage of.

My friend and I decided to get pedicures here today since neither one of us had been before. The place has a very high end salon feel to it and the people were very nice and friendly.
I ordered the Blonde Bombshell drink with elderflower liquor and it was amazing! I don’t know how I’ve lived this long without having a cocktail with a pedicure!
My gal was great and really took care of me and didn’t rush through it. My feet feel amazing!
It is a little higher priced than some places but a nice atmosphere and you truly feel pampered.

Welcomed upon arrival and asked if I was there for nails or hair, I took in the chic décor and then perused the drink menu. I was meeting some friends for pedicures and I was the first to arrive. I ordered the Blonde Bombshell, with crème de violette, Elderflower, and Brut. It is actually violet in color so don’t be shocked and think you ordered the wrong drink! It was sweet and easy to sip on. I was brought over to the area where they do the pedicures and there is a row of a good 6 or so chairs with massage options and a tv mounted on the wall. My lady was awesome! I feel bad that I didn’t get her name! She did a great job and I enjoyed my time there. I don’t know why you would ever want to get a pedi without some champagne! Life is just better that way!
