Terminix

Really deserves 0 stars, but that’s not an option. I called on a Thursday to setup service as a new customer. Scheduled appt for the next day, Friday between 1 & 5 pm. Took a half day off work, no one ever showed and no one called. I called back and was transferred 3x then someone picked and hung up on me. Finally got thru to a live person on third try and they stated their system showed that I had called in Andy changed the appt to the following Wednesday — which I did not do. I stated that I’d taken a half day off work for this and they basically told me too bad we can schedule you for next week. I said no thanks, I can’t work with a company that has shoddy customer service, no shows appts, and is rude and unapologetic for their own mistakes. I’ll choose a local company with people that care about their customers and their reputation.

At the first sign of pests, I decided to call an exterminator. I figured a national brand, rather than a local company, might have a bit more credibility. They don’t!
The lady I first spoke with was very reassuring and sold me on the quarterly package. I hate giving my credit card number up due to past experiences with fraud, but I handed ‘em right over to get this problem solved.
Exterminator never showed up. Not even up to two hours after. I started looking up other exterminator sites and saw the horrible reviews of Terminix on the internet. In case your’e doubting these horrible reviews, don’t! I think there’s a reason you can’t find any positive feedback for this company. It took close to an hour just to get someone on the phone. When I finally did, I told them to delete my information.
Definitely going local.

We had small summer ants in house. I asked Terminix rep if they could get rid of them. He assured me. They sent in a guy who was 6.5 feet tall the sweat was dripping off his face on papers. How umm gross was that. He sprayed some chemical inside the house and then outside the ants problem remained. They charged us instead of $ 72.00 like we agreed, $ 140.00
They also did not tell me how harmful the chemical would be. I had a 2-​year-​old son in house at that time. Had to take him to my parents home for a few days.
