Sybaris Pool Suites

Stayed here again in July of 2015. Still very clean and relaxing. They did do away with the free adult channels in favor of pay per view :(

Can I live here? Seriously! This place is amazing. We stayed in the chalet. It was our first night kid free in 4 years. The steam room, pool, and whirl tub were all clean and functional. The massage chairs could be a little better (to be honest, is that really what people come for?!). It was pricy. However afterwards we found out they had a groupon and living social deal. They also offer a military discount. Parking was very discreet. Everything was clean and went beyond my expectations. I can’t wait to come back when I am in the area. I suggest eating near keystone at the crossing before heading over.

We did not like this place. Thought it would be a first class place for our honeymoon but rather rundown. the hot tub stopper was an ordinary flap of plastic. The real reason we did not like this place is there seemed to be an immoral spirit of lust and sex but we were there were there for love and romance.
We did enjoy the Jacuzzi, but did not like the pool or the steam room both of which had water coming from the ceiling, and the whole area made us feel very creepy and we would not go back in that pool for anything.

Just wanted to echo the positive reviews already here as some are a little older. The place is still a phenomenal place to spend a romantic night out. Now make no bones about it, this place doesn’t hide what it’s here for. You realize that right as you enter the lobby and see the assorted adult themed items and games that you can purchase for your night in the room. Having said that, this place is not skeevy. The rooms are tasteful and extremely clean. (At least ours was) You never feel unsafe. There aren’t even any windows in the room. The bedroom stays nice and cool, and the pool room is nice and hot to make swimming more desirable. The pool was a little small, for swimming but plenty big enough for relaxing with your loved one. We were in the smallest pool suite. If you want a bigger pool, there are two bigger rooms offered.
The only drawback is the price, but I’m not even going to dock it a star for that. As far as I can tell, the price probably keeps out the less desirable crowd that might make a place like this a little more questionable.
I highly recommend if you have the money to spend on a special night out. On a side note, try to go on a Sunday or week night. Prices are much lower than on the weekend.

What can I say, this place was the best. Very clean and had a pool in the room! Also had a large steam room, artificial rain in the pool area, massage chair, the pool was actually an infinity pool, large whirlpool tub, nice bathroom and included a microwave, coffee maker and fridge! Everything was what you would hope it would be. Staff was friendly also. Only thing I would change is the price. As much as I would love to return here, it’s just not fiscally responsible…

An amazing experience. Nothing better than getting back from a night out in Indy and hopping in the warm pool. Massage chair in room works great. The Chalet suite has a private garage with it. Everything was nice looking and clean. Friendly staff at desk. Perfect for a couples getaway or any romantic night away.
I gave 4 stars for a couple reasons. One… Price but of course there’s a POOL in your suite. But mostly we stayed 2 nights and after having room refreshed after 1^st day (which is mandatory because staff must service the pool) there was an adult toy left on bedside of room that was NOT ours… Threw it away. I assume housekeeper found it under bed and assumed it was ours, makes you question the cleaning the day before we got there. However after mentioning to front desk, they gave us a gift certificate with a great value and a discount coupon for our next stay. Even with that little unfortunate discovery, would recommend to any of my friends

My husband found a Living Social deal for a night’s stay here, and he booked it for my birthday. I think he added an upgrade to the deal, but I’m not sure as he made the reservation. We found our «room» to be awesome. We loved the private pool with slide, the steam room, the massage chairs and the whirlpool tub. We had rose petals on the bed and found some sparking grape juice and chocolate covered strawberries as part of the package he chose. Everything was lovely. We stayed in the whole time we were there and just enjoyed relaxing and rotating between the pool and massage chairs. We slept well in the bed as it was quite comfortable.
We brought a Redbox movie and watched it as there was a tv and dvd player. There was also a radio and we were able to listen to music while in the pool. It was the perfect little getaway!

First time been here, and is highly beautiful that you don’t want leave the room; it’s clean and ready for what they advertise on the pictures or web this is good place to spend quality time with you Love one… worthy the bills that come out of your poket Awesome experience. Good for birthdays anniversaries or honeymoon even just getaway ! I will come back again

I stayed at the Indianapolis location in a paradise suite. Everything worked. Everything was there as promised per the website. The amenities looked like the website and flyers also. When I say that I mean this place was soooo clean and it wasn’t run down or dirty. It really is nice. It really is clean. The bed had a ceiling with little lights above it and like 5 additional light switches to change the bedding lights. Very neat. However, in this place you don’t need the bed since you have a pool, waterfall, whirlpool tub, steam room, and waterfall! I was very impressed and happy. I only gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because the prices are soooo expensive. Really, there are other romantic getaways (that may not have a pool) but still are just as nice for half the price. If the price was a little cheaper, I would go there again and again — I can’t give a complaint by any means. It was gorgeous and fun! You are absolutely given what you are promised and the photos they show to advertise themselves are legit.

Ok, first let me start that my husband and I drove all the way from Nashville to Indianapolis to stay at this hotel just because we really wanted some time alone together and didn’t necessarily want to just go out for dinner or have cocktails — we wanted fun alone time — and Sybaris was the fix for us. I stil give it five stars even though we had to drive FIVE AND A HALF HOURS TO GET THERE — IT IS A ROMANTIC LITTLE GETAWAY!
5 and a half hours away is a looong drive just for any hotel — but it was AMAZING — we could not book the room for 2 nights, which really sucked, so we only stayed Friday night and had to leave Saturday. Two nights in a row would have been more relaxing BUT do note that you are NOT in downtown Indianapolis from this hotel — you are literally probably 15 – 20 minutes away. Sooo either a long cab ride if you want to check out downtown Indy OR you are basically staying in the hotel for the weekend — there was some dining options around the hotel you could walk to — but nothing incredibly special. I kept trying to compare the area of the hotel to an area in Nashville and wasn’t there long enough to determine if it was more like a Rivergate area or a Brentwood area if you know what I mean. Bottom line: when you check in, you are paying for a room WITH A FREAKING POOL! You aren’t going to get out much!
We stayed in the paradise sweet, which contained a pool (yes an island shaped pool), a waterfall, a steam room, a large jacuzzi, a relaxing bed with lights and stars up above the bed, murals lo Sybaris looking like islands plus a super awesome message chair– it was really really cool! My favorite part about it was the fact that they had a stereo system in your room that connected to your ipod — there was a huge speaker in the pool room so you could play whatever music you wanted and be as loud as you wanted and it was okay: that was what the hotel was designed for.
The best part about the hotel is that you get to get naked in the pool — hell, its YOUR pool for the night. I had read a lot of reviews about the hotel being unclean and dirty, but I assure you that those reviews were only written by their competitors trying to discourage people from going and staying at their hotel. Everything was very clean and orderly — they even put rose petals on the bed for us and a bottle of sparkling apple cider was in the room waiting on us just because.
The founder of Sybaris died in 2006, which was very sad. You could tell that this was his vision and he made it was it is — I hope they keep the idea alive — it really was a romantic getaway and I wish more than anything there was one in Nashville– I would have to live there!

Sybaris is not a typical overnight stay. It’s a room, with it’s own private pool. It’s hours upon hours of crazy seduction, love making, and time away from the world.
It’s not cheap however, and will dent — no, destroy — your pocketbook. It’s a romantic endeavor, and you can’t put a price on that. Or if you do, don’t tell your significant other that you do. This place is for birthdays, anniversaries, even a honeymoon. Anybody can drop a few big bills on a fancy dinner, then a getaway at a nice hotel. Skip the big dollar food, pick up a pizza and a bottle of wine and spend the big dollars here. She won’t remember if you served her croutons or caviar after a night here because this place is so bewildering awesome.

1^st let me say i did not stay, but here is why. i was in the neighborhood, and had some tax money burning a hole in my pocket.
The sign or website i dont remember said tours from x time to x time. cool… i called about 20 minutes till and said i wanted to take a tour, and could i see the chalet they sadi ok… i went and after being treated like a bother from a fd person who couldnt have cared less. i was shown the bottom of the barrel room. which was tiy.
Some day i may try again, but maybe not.

This is the place for lovin. dont be a cheapie. take your loved one here. if you are looking to run around neked and enjoy each other This is the only place to be. Eat b4 you go. and make sure you take what you need with you. You dont want to leave once you get there. it is so fabulous… dont worry about what has been going on b4 you got there it is very clean and sanitary. enjoy enjoy enjoy!

I LOVE Sybaris! If you and your partner are in the mood for some marathon love making, this is the place for you. It’s also a great place to relax and pamper yourself, but really, who wants to do that alone?!? I suggest the pool suites as they are the best. I love that the rooms are always clean and ready for us. If you have a special occasion you want to celebrate with your lover, this is definitely THE place to go. Enjoy each other!
