Superior Towing

I recently had a bad experience with this company. In short I had a flat tire going onto the ramp of 465 (southeastern/​465 heading east), called AAA in regards to flat and they sent out Superior Towing. The gentleman that was sent out (J. Hall) was nice but unfortunately when he dropped me off at my location (Tires Plus — 10 030 E Washington S) he overcharged me. Originally when speaking with AAA they mentioned that 4 miles would be included with tow and anything over the 4 mile radius would cost an additional $ 4 flat rate for each mile. After paying the gentleman (J. Hall) I started to realize his additional charges did not add up according to the mileage that was actually driven (4.8 miles to be exact) but yet I was charged an additional $ 14 fee whereas I should have only been charged $ 3.20 total. So I went ahead and contacted AAA as I felt I had been taken advantage of since they were nearly charging me for double the mileage. AAA apologized and explained that sometimes there mapping can be a little different than what I came up with — funny thing is no matter how you map it you can not come up with more than a 5 mile travel… that is unless you’re taking back roads which would make ZERO sense considering the fact that we basically were already on the highway. Overall customer service was fine but I did not like the fact that Superior Towing was trying to take advantage of me hoping that I did not know the actual mileage of travel! Not only that Cash was the only form of accepted payment UNLESS I was willing to pay a $ 4 credit/​debit card surcharge fee — this was never explained to me UNTIL he arrived… convenient huh?
