We have gone here 4 times now and we can’t believe it it’s rated only two and a half stars. They have a wide variety of food seafood vegetarian beef and it’s all great they have 5 tabkes full of fiod, good deserts and the food is excellent you can get this all for 6 freaking dollars. What do people want?! This is a great deal.

Have tried this place twice now and both times it was dirty and the food was nasty. Only tried it the second time because my sister was already there. She is now regreting her choice as well. There are plenty of Chinese buffets nearby for about the same price with much better food.

Gross. Low price and low quality to match. Even the simple every day stuff was barely recognizable, flavorless and the opposite of fresh. One of the worst buffets I’ve been to. Definitely not worth the savings.

Can’t beat the price. Only 5 plus change for an entire box to-go all day. It’s staple American Chinese food that you can’t go wrong with. I usually fill up my box with noodles and chicken and vegetables and get a few meals out of it.

This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant the price has change but you still get your money’s worth and then some. It’s cheaper if you get it Togo and I can eat off of my Togo box for about 2 days for 6.49. It’s a little greasy but it’s a buffet. They oil fills you up so you don’t eat as much. I just love this place. I use to eat here about twice a week but I’ve moved across town so now I don’t have it as often but I miss it.

The price is right at 5.99 day or night. We have been here before, but it was better this time. Stuffed jalapeños are rare to find on a buffet. The ice cream was a little soft considering it was only 10 degrees outside. Staff was nice to us. We sat off to the side and were pleasantly surprised how peaceful and quiet it was. Friday night was fairly crowded, and the dishes were fresh and constantly replenished. We will return, especially when short on cash. Other places may be nicer, but this one has very good value for the money.

This place is fantastic. Really inexpensive and you get what you pay for. Other people reviewing here have used that phrase, «you get what you pay for» like a bad thing but let’s be honest here. This is 5.99 for loads of decent Chinese food. It’s not going to be the best in the world but you will like it, and you will like the price and the atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

To all the haters here, get over it, you morons. It’s a $ 5.99 all-one-cares-to-eat buffet! YOU are the people who cannot afford Golden Corral’s $ 11.99! I was greeted cheerfully by a young Asian-American woman who asked, «Would you like a soft drink or water?» Check total was $ 6.21, I believe. Buffet was standard, nothing to write home about but hot and well-stocked. It”s NOT the«China Buffet» on E. Washington, which is an oasis, albeit with a higher price point. But here, you will not leave empty. The egg rolls deserve mention. Light, crispy dough, but best of all, hot CRISPY veggies inside. If you’re hungry and not too picky, this is the place — Just don’t pretend you’re reviewing Harry & Izzy’s when you write about it. It’s a $ 5.99 buffet for goodness sakes. And PLEASE tip your bus person. I gave mine $ 2 and he looked incredulous. Gave $ 1 to the hostess as i left. Anyone who doesn’t tip is not only inconsiderate and ignorant, but cheap, too. I’m a commercial photographer with three restaurant clients — Take CARE of your restaurant staff! Also: Remember that you’re eating in a STRIPMALL! Restaurant has no control over maintenance, plumbing, etc. If you’re going to demote your rating for the restaurant based upon the appearance of the facility then, again, you’ve confirmed that you’re a clueless moron. Think about it… for the price of a Big Mac Value Meal you can dine here with better fare. What’s so difficult to accept about that?!

So I continue to eat her and continue to be disappointed… This time I ate right when they opened in hopes I’d beat the crowd. I felt like a kid in a candy store as I literally ran in only to see there was a crowd… None of the food had been put out yet… «Where did these people come from» I thought to my self as I proceeded to a corner to avoid being detected but this black man who looked like our 44th president Barack Obama only healthier kept cutting me off and saying things to me like, «Man I guess we got here too early man» and«Man this is some bull %#!@». In a panic I replied with only«I know Bubba, I’m starving» and that satisfied him for the time being I suppose. Once the food was out I was rudely greeted with such remarks like«I was here first» or «I don’t give a $@€% he can wait» from people I haven’t seen the likes of since 1993. Despite all this I still come here… Am I that depressed I feel at home here? I did just move up here and have no friends. What’s my life come to, is this a form of entertainment or a fetish? Oh wait back to the review… Their egg drop soup is the closes thing I’ll get to Phở in my area so I usually eat 3 bowls of it and snack on their rice and general tso chicken. Which reminds me if anyone knows a good Phở joint near 86th street please let me know! I’ll keep coming here as my tradition when ever I visit the comic book store next door I suppose…

Dirty. Unpleasant. Poor service. Already feeling nauseated. I wish I would have read the reviews first. It was too expensive for what was offered on the buffet.

I’m not someone who frequents the buffet scene, but when it comes to Chinese food I find that I like to pick and choose and can seldom settle on just«one» thing that I want. So, a buffet makes sense. Super China Buffet is in a small strip center located in a Wal-Mart parking lot with a strip that includes everything from a Dollar Tree to a PetSmart. As this location is fairly close to my house and my beloved Happy Garden at 56th& Emerson shut down, this has become my go to place when I get the occasional hankering for Chinese. As I’m fairly new on Unilocal,I’ll admit that I approached this meal with the intention of writing a review and being far more observant than usual. The first thing I noticed, beyond being surprised at how slight the crowd seemed for a Friday night, was just how incredibly dirty the place was including a back dining area that had what looked like crusted in food on the carpet. There’s one very large dining area and two smaller areas. They certainly pack ‘em in here and despite the restaurant being rather large I’m constantly amazed at how non-wheelchair friendly it is. They have a couple tables that make for easy access, but if you happen to not get those tables there’s a pretty good chance you’ll either struggle to get through an aisle or find yourself getting bumped throughout your meal. The food is very Americanized Chinese. In other words, it’s fairly safe and bland but will likely suffice for most people. The buffet price is now $ 5.99 without a drink and you spend right around $ 7.50 for buffet and drink. Generic desserts are included and today’s fortune informed me I was about to receive a major honor. The noodles are definitely over-cooked. I arrived during the dinner hour, but some of the items seemed like they’d likely been sitting in the warming trays for a bit. That said, the food is decent and the price is definitely good. While it didn’t happen tonight, it’s not uncommon for one of the staff to clear a place for my wheelchair. Super China Buffet will definitely never be a favorite restaurant, but for someone like me who only gets a Chinese craving once in a while it’s a decent choice with a varied selection and prices reasonable enough that you can feed your family.

We came here because our favorite buffet was closed. My husband was less than enthused, because he’d been here before and wasn’t a fan. I like to make my own opinions. So, I tasted pretty much everything that wasn’t meat. As far as vegetarian selection, they have spring rolls, fried zucchini, and mushrooms, if you don’t mind picking them out of a chicken dish. The mushrooms and zucchini were the best tasting. Everything was fairly bland, including the rice and lo mien. The food apparently is not held to any sort of standard, taste wise, but appeared clean and fresh… from what I could tell. I probably won’t be back. The price sounds good, until you add a drink(which you will need to refill over and over, because it is child sized). So plan to sit close to the drink machine, because it gets crowded.

This place is exactly what you expect for a 5.99 buffet cheap food small selection of food most bland or overcooked noodles, the place smells a little like its got mold or mildew smell going the ceiling looks water damaged and makes your meal more unappetizing. the tables and chairs were sticky and dirty i had to wash my hands after i grabbed a chair and got food on my hand, I wish to say i was exaggerating but for your dollar it is what it is, i think a change of staff and good cleaning could save this place but i dont think there into making changes.

Not bad place. For 5.99 per pax, it’s really a good value. Food taste fine, not gourmet, but quite a few of selections.

Ok, I think I blocked this place out of my mind. lol. It used to be called the 4.99 buffet. It is very greasy and dirty inside. I’ve actually been here a couple times, with my son, he loves the noodles. My parents rave about the cheap price, I think they are just still in shock from the Chines Ruby closing accross the street. I do have to say, the food isn’t all that bad, I’ve never gotten sick, I guess thats good.

The food here is terrible and the cleanliness of the buffet seemed a little less than par. I had watched a person come out from the kitchen to refill the food and watched him use his gloved hands to sweep the stuff that had fallen on the edge of the counters back into the food containers. All the food tasted like it was cooked with 5 spice powder. Not all Chinese dishes are made with 5 spice powder. Anyway, I came here because I was starving. By starving I mean, I was next door at Petco standing in the dog treat section thinking that something smelled delicious. I was plain starving and I thought, hey I’ll try out this place next door, sounds like a super cheap all day $ 5.99 buffet. Well, I guess this is what you pay for. Cheap, not so tasty food.

When I visited this buffet, I figured that it would be as good as any Chinese buffet. However, this chinese buffet, you get what you pay for. It was probably the worst Chinese buffet I’ve been too. I realized that it wasn’t going to be good when I visited this place, but I didn’t realize how bad it could get. Very unclean! I would rather save my money and buy food that will be enjoyable. I’ve been to China and I was more worried about the meat at this restaurant than the mystery meat in China! Many of the dishes were not labeled and so you really didn’t know what you were eating.

It’s not gourmet. It’s not outstanding. But it’s good. And, IMHO, it’s the best $ 5.69 deal in town. Upside…if you dine during the main lunch and dinner hours, the food is always fresh and changed often. Upside…for 5.69, you get a pretty incredible variety of food. Downside…if you eat during the main lunch and dinner hours, it can be VERY crowded. Downside…if you happen to eat at an «off» time, the food can set for quite a while in the warming trays. That said, for me, the ups outweigh the downs. I wouldn’t want to eat here every day… or even every week, for that matter, but when I’m craving Chinese, and don’t have a lot of time or money, this is my go to place.

This is a highly qualified review, because there’s a mixture of goodness and strangeness. You can get food here that when compared to $ 5.69 at McDonalds, is a lightyear away in variety and taste and nourishment. There are some items that are good and the not-so-good. Let me explain: The Good Reasonable salad bar, always fresh, lots of fruit. It’s usually very clean. There are the usual mix of Chinese American dishes, often very fresh and 22 dishes that I counted; about half will work for vegetarians depending on their orthodoxy. There is sushi, but it’s not the kind that sushi lovers will crave– and they’re insane to think you can get good sushi at a buffet for $ 5.69. There is ice cream, and a few desserts. The Bad Some items can stay in the pan for a long time before they’re changed. Sauces like even soy sauce, must go to your table with you after you mixed them. The seats in the booth area were once plush, but they’re now about half with holes in them. Not very enticing. The beverage selection is optional, and there is only one non-high fructose selection beyond water, and that’s unsweetened ice tea, which is reasonably good. I’ve been going here for a decade, and the family/crew that runs the place hasn’t changed in a long time. They’re a bit shy, but very nice people and they strive to keep things moving along. It can get very crowded here. The food, however, is reasonable, but if you have more $$, better can be found elsewhere.

$ 5.69($ 6.20 with tax). Same price all day for Chinese buffet. Cheapest price for a dinner buffet. Food was delicious. Salmon, chicken & mushroom, chicken & broccoli, egg drop soup, rice noodle, orange, ice cream, fried chicken, fortune cookie, etc. I will have to go again while around Norgate shopping center.
