It’s ice cream… How does it get a low score?!? Lol. Anyways on my first visit I was under the impression(due to their website) that they carried soft serve ice cream… Sadly they do NOT carry soft serve. It’s been about 3 years since I have had simple good soft serve. Off that tangent. Now today I trying a single scoop of the Graham cracker ice cream. It was good. But certainly not the best. Check out my review of a place in Atlanta GA that’s sells ice cream. Top notch Although the ice cream was a good consistency as well as creamy as can be. The flavor left me wanting a little more punch. Next time I’ll try a couple more flavors. But something I did try was the amaretto chocolate cheesecake. And if you like chocolate cheesecake and amaretto… That’s the one for you. Really tasty treat there. All in all good place and I can see why it was rated the best in Indianapolis. Sorry no pics today for ice cream.

I can’t say enough about how good this place is. Their flavors are incredible, servings are extremely generous, and the ice cream is thick, cold, and delicious. We’ve bought their coffee, too, and the Highlander Grog has become a staple in our house. We don’t live close anymore, but make the drive — past the fro yo joints, past places in Fishers where people inexplicably line up and wait forever — over the hills to this this wonderful little shop. I hope it never changes. Have the Graham Central Station, Sundae’s Tracks, and lemon oreo mix at least once each — they’re all great.

Sundae’s is our favorite ice cream place in Indianapolis! All of the employees are super nice.

So so good! They make their own ice cream, roast their own coffee, and that’s about all you need for an excellent Sundae’s experience! Be sure to sign up for their SpotOn program and earn points so you can get freebies down the road! I’d say my favorite flavor is Graham Central Station. Their seasonal offerings are also great. I love their sundaes, but you can’t go wrong with just a scoop or two on a cone or in a bowl. They also offer a couple of flavors of frozen yogurt. I think the owners are older and have their grandchildren help run the store. They’re always very nice. Just be patient as sometimes on weekends in the summer, the place can get packed! Do yourself a favor and head over here now!

After noticing some of the delicious sounding flavors that some of my favorite Unilocalers posted, I decided to give Sundae’s another try. After two additional visits, I’ve added a star to my rating. Whoo! Hoo! The customer service is still hit or miss. I’m not sure if it is due to their age, but at times, the servers are super nice, while today one server was air drumming and the other looked as if she couldn’t bear the thought of waiting on anyone else. A simple hello would have been nice. Eventually an older gentleman waited on me and he was super pleasant. Anyhoo, I gave this place another try because of the flavors I read about. The graham central station is freaking delicious as well as the lemon oreo. Such unique and tasty flavors. Today, I ordered a scoop of the graham central station and the chocolate cinnamon churro. The churro flavor was good, but didn’t outshine the graham or lemon. 2 scoops for less than $ 5 works for me. I will definitely be checking out this place more often. Hopefully they will work on the customer service.

My husband and I came up from Avon to ride our bikes around Geist on a Sunday afternoon. After a beautiful 20 mile bike ride we decided we NEEDED ice cream. We stumbled upon Sundaes and both agree it’s the best ice cream we’ve ever tasted! So creamy and the variety of flavors is endless. We both agree the cookie butter flavor was our favorite. There also was a flavor with Reece cups and Oreos that was to die for! So happy to see this place succeeding since its locally owned.

I stumbled upon this place late last year, and had the most amazing ice cream I’ve ever had — chocolate churro! Everything is homemade, and you can really tell the difference. There is a big variety in flavors, but everybody I’ve talked to seems to really enjoy the graham central station. They also have specialty creations — the peanut butter mountain is an absolute must try for peanut butter lovers. They also offer delicious cones!

Sundae’s ice cream is seriously delicious. I heard all the hype and was doubtful. I should never doubt again! They have this very unique ice cream called Graham Central Station. It’s a frozen, delightful throwback to Smores. Their other ice creams are tasty too — but I can’t stray from the Graham. We will take the 45 minute drive for their ice cream — it’s that good.

This was probably the highlight of my trip to IN! The ice cream was beyond delicious! I was lucky enough to stop here several times a day during my visit. The staff was friendly and the flavors I tried were heavenly!

Amazing ice cream made by amazing people! We sampled Graham Central Station, cookie dough, cotton candy, butter pecan and Rainforest crunch– all amazing! A lovely balance between creaminess and chewiness give the perfect base for any of the flavors you choose to experiment with. The owner was present and friendly. One of the nice young men working the counter(who was the son of said owner) answered my questions about whether an ice cream had peanuts or just tree nuts and then took it upon himself to wash his hands and use a fresh scoop to get my sons ice cream– this alone would keep me coming back… but alas I have an even better reason that lies in the thick creamy deliciousness that is Sundaes!

Ah, the beloved ice cream shop of my childhood! Let’s be honest … I’ve never really met an ice cream cone I didn’t like, but Sundae’s ice cream is truly high quality. Plus, the shop smells like coffee when you step inside because of the huge wall of beans for purchase. They have over a dozen rotating ice cream flavors plus limited yogurt and sorbet options. A kids’ size is the perfect amount if you’re looking for an ice cream treat that won’t leave you too full of dairy-induced regret.

Man oh man… I was in a Unilocal review star slump and in need of a redeeming spot to bring back my faith in good people and good eats. Enter Sundae’s Ice Cream & Coffee! Yippppeeee! My step-daughter and I visited here twice in 3 days for ice cream. Don’t judge us. The first was when we opted for an «ice cream for lunch» day and swung in to Sundae’s on a fellow Unilocaler’s recommendation. This first visit and experience would solidify that we WOULD be coming back before the Bird had to leave in a few days — so we returned a second time. Twist my arm. On each visit we were promptly greeted by several friendly, smiley workers that kept appearing from the back. We were offered several samples(ain’t no shame in my game) and after trying about 4 each, we settled on our choices. The kids size was plenty for me and the Bird always gets a cone… and a double. Prices are reasonable as we paid less than $ 7 for everything on each visit. We tried(and loved) the Cookie Butter(OMG!!), Lemoreo(lemon and oreo), the Graham Central Station(a staple), Dulce De Leche, the Twinkie(yes, tastes exactly like its namesake), the Cake Batter(yellow cake! added hot fudge!), the Rainforest Crunch, the Key Lime Pie… the list just goes on. All ice cream goodness is made in house and they roast their own coffee beans as well in small batches. Coffee beans and hand-dipped ice-cream are both available to take home should you choose. I personally could not be trusted to take the ice cream home and not consume it all in one sitting. True story. One note — their flavors rotate(aside from the Graham Central which is usually available), so get that Lemoreo if that’s what you want. It could disappear/reappear at next visit! Man, I owe Allison BIG time for writing the review that prompted us to go, but my waistline is kinda ticked off. Oh well. SO worth it! :)

Uh… how I am the FIRST person in my Unilocal circle to review Sundae’s? Seriously guys. I would think that the #01 ice cream spot on the Indy A-List in 2013 + 2014 would be a hot spot for y’all. Is it the long windy drive up Fall Creek, or did you try to find it, but it was too well hidden in the generic strip mall off of 79th? Regardless, we have been missing out! I actually found out about Sundae’s on a recent trip to The Mug. We were en route back to Indy and stopped for ice cream, when I discovered that our slow food friends from Tyner Pond Farm serve Sundae’s ice cream. I quizzically looked at my ice cream scooper when she mentioned this unknown business, because I usually am in the know about food spots. However, my facial expression quickly changed upon my first lick of the Graham Central Station aka s’mores ice cream. With my mouth agape and eyes rolled to the back of my head, I thought to myself, «Ooooh…this was goooooood. I need to find this place.» Fast forward two weeks later. My sister wanted to celebrate her final nights living in Indy over a superior ice cream cone. Luckily, I knew just the place. On our way up, my sister scrolled through the existing Unilocal reviews, commenting on how everyone loves this interesting lemon-oreo ice cream. There was only one way to find out. My first sample was this popular«Lemoreo», and it resulted in another round of eye-rolling similar to my first lick of Graham Central Station. Oh, Lemoreo, beloved sweet lemon-chocolate frozen velvet! I had to have you inside my waffle cone! One scoop please! Just when I was ready to stop at one scoop, a small sign on the glass case caught my eye. No, it can’t be… Cookie Butter? Chunks of my favorite crumbly, crunchy spread swirled into ice cream made from my favorite Belgian cookie? Could this be a gift from the ice cream gods? I asked for a sample. I went in for the taste… I’ll put it this way: had I tried this flavor in the privacy of my own home with the doors and windows closed, I would have lost my damn mind over such pure Speculoos perfection and demolished that tub in less than five handfuls. Unfortunately, I was standing amongst fellow lip-licking, sugar-craving customers, so I contained my composure the best I could and politely asked for a scoop of Cookie Butter to be packed on top of my Lemoreo. You can probably guess what happened next: an enamored devouring of my ice cream choices ensued on the bench outside. I live for sweetened euphoric food moments like these, even when I can’t have it my way. Want to experience the same? You know where to go… and, if the Cookie Butter ice cream isn’t available, you’ll know who to blame.

My favorite place for local ice cream. They have a lot of unique, delicious flavors that help them to stand out among a lot of competitors. They also seem to be very active in the community which I love.

Their ice cream is creamy and delicious. And their serving sizes are generous. My personal favorite is the lemon Oreo and key lime pie. The Gresham cracker one is notably delicious. Don’t miss out if you’re in the area. I would make this a regular event if I could.

I haven’t had all of their menus but it’s because they have a lot. they have floats, coffee drinks, everything. But I love their ice cream the most. Because they are freakin good!!! I especially LOVE their key lime pie and lemonOreo flavor. Always get them together. It’s the pie crust and oreo chunks that makes difference. I live 26 min away but I will come back here just for the ice creams!

Best ice cream in Indy. Hands down, Grand Central Station, Lemoreo, Rainforest Crunch, Key Lime Pie. I could go on and on. One of the few places left that will hand dip a half gallon for you. Prices may be higher than other places, but it’s definitely worth every penny! You get what you pay for here.

Sundae’s Ice Cream is the go to sweet shop in the Geist area when you have a sweet tooth. This family operated and owned business offers a variety of yogurt and ice cream flavors. They have the traditional, vanilla, chocolate, etc., to more fun flavors for those wanting something a bit more, Cake Batter, a variation of cheesecake, and generally a seasonal flavor. Sundae’s is a little small, but does have a few tables in the front of the store and a park bench outside if you wish to sit down and enjoy your purchase(s). The service is generally friendly and it can get packed at times, especially during the hot summer nights. If ice cream isn’t your thing, and you need an afternoon or late night pick me up, Sundae’s offers coffee drinks as well. If you’re looking for something stronger to add to your drink or ice cream and you’re over 21, there is a liquor and wine store two doors down to go coffee or ice cream.
