This was by far the worst manicure I’ve ever had and I get regular manicures. First the color I asked for was a light purple/mauve mix. After one coat it looked like bubble gum and I asked if it was the right color. The guy compared and said after a couple of coats it would darken. After three coats it was even more bubble gum pink. One lady came over and said it is because my nail color was making it lighter(it’s an opaque color by the way so after three layers it would not be influenced by my nails) and then she continued to talk about it with the guy doing my nails and she then also added that it would darken over the next day. Fine, whatever I got the wrong color. However, aside from that my nails are filed strange shapes and the shellac is uneven, bumpy, and looks horrible. It honestly looks like a 10 year old chose the color and painted my nails. Then for the massage portion, Sonny(next to me) started the massage he was working on, then about 2 minutes later my guy started my hand massage and finished both my hands before Sonny had even finished one hand. All in all, I would absolutely not recommend this guy. My grandma and mother come here frequently and have only had a bad experience when my mother got a pedicure with this same guy. Everyone else has treated them really well so I hate to say anything bad but this is my only experience. He is a younger gentleman, maybe 5′ 6″ with flock of seagulls-like hair style so avoid him!

This is my favorite place to get my nails done, and it’s clearly the Eastside’s favorite too. The salon is always busy, which is good, but the staff doesn’t rush through everyone. They make sure you are getting the quality care you are paying for. There is a great selection of shellac colors and regular polishes. You get a complimentary bottle of water with every visit and something entertaining is always on the TVs(my personal favorite is Jeopardy). I would recommend making an appointment instead of just a walk-in. They are very accommodating and i highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a new salon.
