Pros: This small stand, which has been around for 26 years, is perfect for a treat on a hot day! The container catches fallen bits of ice so there is no worry about making a mess or losing chunks of the treat. There are many flavored to choose from and I highly recommend choosing to get ice cream at the bottom for no extra cost. Cons: Cash Only

Contrary to popular belief, snow cones are actually difficult to make. But Sno Zone has the best snow cones that I’ve ever had. Tonight I got the Tiger’s Blood(strawberry and coconut) with ice cream in the bottom for an added treat free of charge! The ice to flavor ratio was perfect and the ice was perfectly shaved. A great addition to the experience was the protection cup surrounding the ice so that your hands didn’t get dyed the color of your treat. I would have to say that my first time at Sno Zone couldn’t have been better and I will definitely be back before the season is over!

This place is awesome! Lots of flavor choices– my pics have the full list– and you get to choose up to three! Decisions, decisions. If you go often, be sure to get a stamp card– 10 stamps and you get a free cone(and Monday is double stamp day!). My one complaint is that $ 3.50 is a little steep. Perhaps there should be a kid’s size option or they should charge extra for ice cream or a gumball and reduce the price for those of us that just want the shaved ice. It’s a great little stand and well worth a visit!

I have driven twenty minutes from home just to get a snowcone. The people are really friendly and the snowcones are basically heaven on earth. Here are some flavour combos we like a lot: Suicide and Daiquiri. Peach and Pink Champagne. Root beer and sno cream. They are open Til 11 most nights, which means it’s a great place for dessert after dinner. Be warned that they are addictive. I have had four snowcones in the past three days. I clearly have a problem.

Up for a refreshing shaved ice on a hot day in Broad Ripple? You’re in luck. This seasonal booth is located conveniently off the Monon Trail and gets packed as the temperatures rise. Pick your favorite flavors(up to 3) for only $ 3.50 and choose a gumball or ice cream in the bottom of your cone. What could be better?
