Snakepit Customs is the long-​time dream of Damon Sturrock. A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Damon has been building custom cars since he was a teenager. He spent eight years at a street car dealership for before pursuing his goal of working in INDYCAR®. Damon moved to Indianapolis in 2000 and has spent the last 13 years as a Crew Chief and Lead Mechanic for INDYCAR, the fastest, most versatile racing series in the world. With more than a decade of experience building race cars for street courses, road courses and ovals, and more than 20 years experience with street cars, Damon understands speed and automobiles.
