Snafu Saloon

Been there on many occasions. They have themed parties almost every month. Bartenders are nice, people are friendly, and good drinks for good prices. Oh and the themed parties often have free food. Always have a good time when I’m there.

Extension cords and power strips hanging all over the place, no lotto tickets in any of the 3 lotto machines, only food was Totinos microwave pizza (so no food), Random ladder in the middle of the room, no rain cover on the outdoor smoking area, a gas can sitting next to the video game (kerosene I was told WTF?) karaōke rotation is slow, people dont choose their song till they get called up, aint nobody got time for that. Mens room is rank smelling of crap and urine. Sad part is the owner used the restroom before leaving for the night and did nothing to fix the issue… it was business as usual… NO POINTS AWARDED HERE

promised me a fried cheeseburger. There was nothing here but stale smoke and stale appetizers. Just a dirty dive bar. Saddest.

I went there because a friend was a server and she worked Saturday night, and I would not have otherwise. The crowd ranges from NASCAR, bikers and construction workers earlier in the day to Affliction/​UFC, bling and tattoo later at night. The latter isn’t my type (one young woman kept grabbing her large chest and was letting more than one of her friends do the same), but again I was there to help a friend. The service, needless to say, was very good and drinks weren’t overpriced, but if you don’t pay with cash there’s a $ 10 minimum. North parking area is not very well lit, so you must look both ways when leaving at dark. Fortunately there was no trouble at least when I was there and I got out safe.
