Business Owner
Becky Wilson is an Indianapolis-based artist who creates work in a variety of media, but primarily expressive painting and assemblage. She studied at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Flordia, before returning to her home town to attend the Herron School of Art and Design from 1980 — 1985. She was a founding member of the co-op 431 Gallery in Indianapolis that is regarded as one of the catalysts that prompted Massachusetts Avenue to develop into a thriving arts district. Becky was recognized as one of the 85 People to Watch in 1985 by Indianapolis Monthly magazine and was a founding member of the Stutz Artist Association in the 1990s, participating in the Stutz Studio tour for 8 years. Always at the forefront of introducing contemporary artists to new audiences, she has created Sideshow Art and Odditorium to offer bite-size works of art to the business-lunch crowd in the historic Indianapolis City Market.
