Two attempts at getting«expert» video on hard drive($ 600 worth of services) resulted in a third request to return originals yet again to «try again.» After confirming the hard drive was corrupted by SD(spent another $ 300 getting an IT company to recover) all SD offered was send them all back again. This is NOT the CA company it was back in the day. If you have time to ask them where your order is over and over and have the patience then SD is your solution. I have roughly $ 2500 in videos to be converted and sadly will not be using SD. All I want is a pickle!

I’ve been using ScanDigital for about 2 years now and I’m still very happy with their service. Their customer service has always been superb and the quality of my digital files is superior than other services I have tried. I’m almost done transferring my parent’s collection, but I’m very glad to have found them. I highly recommend them. One of the few services that still does all of the work themselves and in the U.S., and that’s very important to me.

The price was fair, they updated me regularly by email through the receiving, copying, and sending process, and when one package of photographs arrived at the shop damaged(by the post office) in delivery, they did everything I think they needed to do to make sure that I was still satisfied with the quality of the product.

I’m a big fan of this service and company. In the past they were prompt and eager for business. But this last experience was extremely disappointing. I sent in an order December 22 of a special play my daughter had lead role in. My family extremely excited to watch the video. We waited. Waited. Waited. Today, January 11 I call to see where the heck it is. The rep says«oh. Yeah it’s been here. We didn’t know what to do with it since you didn’t place the order.» Really. Could you have called me? How the heck was I to know you needed additional information. Not too bright and bad customer service. Guess being successful has gone to their heads.

I don’t know how this place is still in business. They took 3 times longer than they said to return the tapes(ended up being about 3 months and they only returned them when we called and inquired), and they didn’t do 7 of the tapes we sent and wouldn’t refund us for the ones they didn’t do. They are rude and completely unapologetic about their mistakes. Would not recommend them or trust them again with precious and irreplaceable tapes of our family. We’re just going to eat the cost and find someplace more reliable.

This company purchased PeggyBank, which was the service I purchased to digitze my media. My experience was awefull. I sent my media in early 2014 and received in late 2015, almost 18 months later. During that time, I kept getting lame and vague excuses about VOLUME. This place should be out of business. Negligent and poorly operated. Very bad management and poor communications. I will NOT use again and DONOT recommend. Buyer beware.

I could not be more pleased with Scan Digital’s service and the quality of the work. The work was done promptly and turned to us days before the originally scheduled date for return. I had one phone conversation with an employee and she could not have been more friendly and helpful in giving us advice on how to organize our home movies. In reading other reviews I think it shows that many people, understandable, are fearful to send off their treasured movies, slides and photos. These folks are trustworthy and totally professional.
