Wow! I’ve gotten my Mazda6 services at both Ray Skillman locations and westside is by far superior. Equipped with coffee, cookies, hot chocolate, free wifi, charging stations, and a play area for kids there’s no reason not to take your Mazda here! The staff seemed a lot friendlier, happier, and knowledgeable than other Indy locations.

We just had one of the best experiences with Ray Skillman Buick GMC South. The salesman, JB, and his partner, Zeth, were great. JB was very knowledgeable of all the vehicles we expressed interest in. Colt and J did a great job of getting our trade valued quickly, and getting us numbers to compare to help narrow down our selection. The customer service provided by everyone we come in contact with was excellent. We were treated like family.

When it comes to cars I know mine has four wheels, is an automatic, 4 cylinder and gets roughly 32 mpg. But that is about the extent of my knowledge. I looked at my service manual and noted, though that it was time for a tune up and some maintenance. The team at Mazda was friendly and very helpful over the phone– setting me up for an appointment the very next day. I arrived they showed me to coffee, cookies and a large and comfortable waiting area– with wifi (if amazes me that some service centers don’t have it). An hour later– just as they had noted, my car was fixed and ready to roll.
Their team was so friendly and accommodating through the process!

Seriously this is the only car dealer I would recommend after we have visited just about every single dealer in the area looking for a new car to lease. The people there seem very trustworthy and will even suggest other locations than theirs if they think a different car will suit you better. We ended up leasing out new Mazda3 from them, it literally had 5 miles on it. We got an amazing deal, they really pushed themselves to accomodate our budget and desires! They even let us take it home overnight and think about it before we bought it.
We worked with another dealership that was also Ray Skillman, and the salesperson there brought us over here when we described the price and style we wanted… so I think any of the Ray Skillman people seem to be pretty good to work with.
Our salesperson was named Harrison Brown, and if you can work with him I really recommend it. He has great reviews online, another Unilocal reviewer mentioned him and I would agree with their assessment of him.
If you are looking to lease or buy, I truly think this is the best dealership in Indianapolis!

We bought cars from Ray Skillman twice. the second time we bought a «Certified» pre-​owned Mazda5. However, it turns out they didn’t actually Certify it completely. Now, less than 12,000 miles and less than 1 year into owning it, over a thousand dollars in repairs and items on the certification list were totally missed (i.e. matching tires… pretty elementary stuff). Also Our salesman told us first 12 years 12k miles was bumper to bumper– apparently that was a lie though, we now find out. Worse, they won’t do anything to make it right.

I am a return customer, I purchased a Mazda3 in 2009 and just purchased a CX-​5 in October 2014. Kyle Lester is a great salesman he made sure I was educated about all my options and helped me find the right vehicle for me. I did however feel pressure to purchase the extended warranty from the finance manager Chris. I went ahead a purchased it, hopefully it isn’t a waste of money again. I purchased the extended warranty in 2009 and was told I would get a refund on the portion not used. I still have not received any communication about how much it will be or when to expect it.

I wish all car buying experiences were as good and as easy as my experience at Ray Skillman. Barry Morris was professional and easy to work with. He knows his products well, was never pushy and was very frank about pros and cons. This dealer clearly cares about the «whole package» experience, from sales to service, and has followed up to make sure all my questions are answered. This is the benchmark for all my future car purchases. I would happily recommend them to family and friends.

I just bought a car from here and they took excellent care of me. Harrison Brown is awesome and he just seemed very real. He wasn’t your typical slimy sales guy, he was very honest, open, and knowledgeable about everything. He also helped me narrow down my choices by showing me a government website that compares cars to show me that all the cars I was thinking of were very similar. I wasn’t a big fan of their finance guy though, he was kind of a goober and made tons of mistakes that he loudly pointed out while working everything up, which was very awkward. Either way, I’ve very happy with my car and it was nice to know that they had sold to a bunch of people my husband worked with. It gave me confidence and felt like I was working with family. They made me feel important and treated me like a real person. It was nice. I had a bad experience at a bunch of other places. Bobby Dieckman at the Ray Skillman Hyundai is also great.

Just bought a Mazdaspeed3 from this dealership. Worked with Eric Alcorn and the process was pleasant and pain-​free. I’d suggest looking him up if you’re in the market for a Mazda or good used car.
I felt no pressure to accept the service/​warranty options they offered and was pleased that they patiently accommodated my lengthy vehicle selection process.
I’m hoping my experience with their service department will be equally satisfying… fingers crossed!
