We are Michigan Road Animal Hospital @ Crooked Creek (formerly Michigan Road Animal Hospital) and we have proudly been serving northwest Indy’s pet owners with veterinary care since 1957. The Doctors and staff of Michigan Road Animal Hospital pledge to provide your dog or cat with the best possible care in a friendly and warm atmosphere.

We are an American Animal Hospital Association accredited, full-​service, companion animal hospital. Our services include preventative wellness care including puppy packages, soft-​tissue surgery, hospitalization & critical care, pain management, emergency care, laser therapy, dentistry and dental radiology, x-​rays & ultrasound services and a comprehensive laboratory. We also offer boarding, daycare, and grooming. We are comprised of approximately 20 pet lovers & pet owners, including three full-​time veterinarians. Payment is expected at the time services and /​or procedures are rendered. We can’t wait to meet you and your pet!

Established in 1957.

Since 1957, MRAH has been dedicated group of professionals working together to provide excellent service and care to our clients and patients. We treat pets like family and it’s not just our slogan-​we mean it! We are an honest, hardworking group of animal lovers, dedicated to serving your pets’ needs. I have been taking my baby to MRAH @ CC ever since he was a puppy of 8 weeks. They are kind, conscientious, and caring. For any and all his exams and surgeries, I have always felt he was in good, loving hands. We started out with Dr Hurd, but all the doctors we have seen give the same level of care. The vet techs are very knowledgeable, and big shout out to VALERIE at the front desk, who is terrific. They know my pooch, and greet him by name when he «checks in» for medical attention or boarding. Reasonable prices. I would not skimp or compromise for my baby ever –Excellent care from good people!

Professional, affordable, knowledgable.
We brought in a stray kitten to get checked out, and after a couple of months, brought him in again to get nurtured. Excellent service and communication both times.
This week, when our other cat started acting funny, we took him to one of those emergency vet clinics that are open late. It was HELL. No communication from the staff, doom and gloom from the vet techs, unprofessional feel, and an estimate that was beyond our budget…
Anyway, we took the cat to the Animal Hospital @ Crooked Creek and all was well. He’s home safe, and the bill didn’t break the bank.

They saw my out of town lab on short notice, and gave us meds for his infected ears. Dr Estes is wonderful, and if I lived in Indy, this would be my vet! Just wonderful!

Dr. Estes is great, our cat has become so comfortable with her. On the first visit he was a bit on edge, new family, new doctor, getting poked with needles, but now just a few months later (had to make multiple visits due to some health issues) our cat thinks it’s old hat. Thanks Dr. Estes for keeping our cat healthy!

We just moved to Indy in January from San Diego. We have 2 dogs and a cat. Our neighbor recommended Michigan Road Animal Hospital and we are very thankful.
They were able to get us in on short notice, did a complete workup on everyone and really took the time to make us comfortable. We saw Dr. Duncan and Dr. Fletcher and we liked them both very much. Our female dog is a bit shy but had no problems being checked out. Both dogs got a complimentary nail trim — one of the tasks I despise.
When we took our cat, he peed inside the carrier and they took him back and washed him and the carrier. Now THAT is customer service.
I really felt like they are committed to the health of my animals without trying to make money off me. Everything they suggested sounded reasonable, and they even discouraged me from some medicines they didn’t think the cat needed.
I’m so glad we found a good vet. My pets are my babies!

We’ve been going here for 4 years to have our dog seen. The staff always is friendly. They always work us in on short notice. We’ve seen several of the DVMs, but Dr. Klarquist is our main man. Their charges are very reasonable. Definitely a great Vet for the NW side.
