J&T Auto is great for the muscle car or daily driver. I discovered this shop on the East side of Indianapolis when I needed some work done on a 1971 nostalgia car. It can be difficult to find a repair shop that can handle the older cars and understand the balance of maintaining its integrity while improving the reliability. I have used them for both my 1971(rebuillt carburetor, installed HEI module, mounted tires, replaced belts) and late model HEMI(replaced thermostat, starter). For older cars, they are very proficient at researching the options and recommending a course of action from the basics to fixing all known issues. I normally ask for a short list of things I may need to plan for fixing in the near future as well. I recommend scheduling in advance and dropping the car off for service. They are a small shop and the waiting room is very basic. While they enjoy working on muscle cars, working on daily drivers is their bread and butter so don’t hesitate to take any vehicle to them for service or repair. If you need service or repair, please check them out. They are near 44th street and Shadeland avenue.
