We use the freshest of product and most creative ideas thus combining fabulous foods displayed in a manner using you as our inspiration. We remain focused in discovering the newest of trends, combining this with traditional classics as well as charm. Our team goes beyond the responsibilities of the every day caterer or event planner. We help you save time and money while relieving the stress from the planning stages through the execution of your event. We have over 20 years experience (as a company, not the combined years of each employee) and we are able to pull from experiences and connections assisting the most experienced to the novice.
History
Established in 1997.
Nancy Landman opened the business after leaving her positions working in education for IPS, writing education grants, and teaching culinary arts at Ivy Tech. Nancy’s background in education combined with studies in culinary arts allowed her to gain needed certification for the Culinary Arts Department at Ivy Tech from the American Culinary Federation. She has received gold and bronze medals in culinary competition as well as studied with famed chefs in Europe and Mexico. These skills have made Great Cooks a leader in Indianapolis catering. Nancy worked for the Pan Am Games in Indy, and was asked to continue on with them preparing food for athletes at the Olympics.
Great Cooks & Company has catered not only in Indianapolis but also in New York and Boston. She has led her team in producing interesting, exciting foods and events combining trendy and new, without forgetting her classical training.
