Four Seasons 1.99 Cleaners

This was my go-​to dry cleaner while I was in Indianapolis. It’s conveniently located near I-​65 (albeit across the street from a mall that looks like it should have closed years ago), the prices are reasonable, every staff member is super friendly, and the same day service gives you lots of flexibility. During the 6 months I was here on business, I brought my dry cleaning here, on average, once a week.
Although some customers took issue with it, the fact they require you to pre-​pay was not a problem for me. I always pay for any dry cleaning or alterations in advance as a show of good faith… gives the business that much more incentive to make sure my clothes are ready on time.
There were just two nitpicky details keeping me from giving them 5 stars:
1. They never got the heavy starch concept right. I explained several times that a heavily starched shirt is stiff to the touch and will not get wrinkled if it stays hung up in a full closet for a whole month. However, I wore most shirts within 2 weeks of picking them up, so it didn’t matter much that they were only lightly starched.
2. There were several occasions when they couldn’t commit to having my laundry ready the same day, even if I was dropping off early. This, along with phone calls — during the same timeframe — that went unanswered, led me to believe they were just swamped at the time.
In all, a good dry cleaner with low prices and fast, friendly service. I’d recommend them to anyone in the area.
