The cookies were easy to order and the cheapest I could find but still good quality. We used these to announce our pregnancy and my family loved them!

Erin has been super helpful with our order. This was a great service to us as we needed to send good fortune to a team member. The fun messages we could personalize inside really made this a fun and different cookie gift. She even placed it in a gift tin to wow our boss! I had to reach out to modify our order and she quickly responded to our needs and personally took care of it. I will be reusing her service and recommending to co-​workers!

How disappointing! I used FFC in 2011 for my wedding and was so pleased that when I found out we were expecting our first child in Feb I knew exactly how I wanted to tell everyone. I spent a little more for a gourmet flavor but I didn’t mind because I knew they were worth it.
I received my fortune cookies quickly and handed them out at family brunch to finally share the exciting news. Except 3 out of 10 I gave out did not have fortunes! A fortune cookie with no fortune?!? What?!? While most were excited my brother, step father and grandfather were very confused as to what the big deal was. Others had to share their fortunes to let them in on the news.
Upon arriving home I went through the remainder: 13 (including the ones already given out) had no fortunes, 2 were wrapped poorly and unpresentable, and a handful more I couldn’t tell one way or another; with so many fortunes already missing I wouldn’t risk another confusing situation.
I emailed Erin, who seems to be an involved CEO if you believe the website. I either needed replacements or a refund. No reply.
I emailed in via their general inquiry page. No reply. I now don’t trust correspondence over the phone in which I will have no proof so I wait and wait. Almost two months later I finally contacted my credit card company to file a dispute.
I trusted FFC with a very special occasion and not only did they mishandle it, they couldn’t even be bothered to fix it, apologize, or acknowledge me.
Purchase at your own risk, just because you’re paying the highest price doesn’t mean you’re getting the highest quality.

I ordered personalized cookies for my son’s upcoming graduation party! The strawberry cookie was dipped in chocolate and finished with a little mortarboard/​diploma candy! Not only are these ADORABLE, but they taste great too! I’m sure his guests will be thrilled with a little sweet favor as they leave the party. I loved being able to personalize FIVE different messages to be stuffed inside the cookie. They also helped me figure out the correct amounts to order as well as the best time to ship. A perfect experience!

I saw giant fortune cookies online for this place and thought it would be a fantastic gift for my long-​distance boyfriend. Especially since I read some pretty good reviews, too.
So I ordered a giant dark chocolate covered fortune cookie covered with M&Ms on Tuesday and delivered it with the cheapest option (FedEx ground), since it should arrive fairly quickly between Indianapolis and Chicago. Just to ensure prompt arrival, I added a special note that said please make sure you send this as soon as possible, as my boyfriend is moving to Brazil next week!
The online ordering process was fairly simple and quick. The present was delivered within 2 days, yay! I accidentally screwed up and put the wrong shipping address, so the package actually got delivered to my bf’s old apartment complex instead of his current one! :o Arghh… my bad. Thankfully he’s still in the same city so he could go pick it up the following day.
He took a photo of the gift and sent it to me, and it looked really good! The fortune was on a HUGE paper, and it looked great, too! Even though I wrote a bunch of stuff on the message, it still looked like a proper fortune cookie message… but just BIGGER. ;)
Unfortunately, he said the cookie itself was stale and not edible. I was devastated because I was really hoping that it would be yummy. But at least he still appreciated it as a cute and unique gift! :)

After a recent trip to Indy I knew I needed to bring something special back to my coworkers and fancy fortune cookies were just what I was looking for. The cookies were fresh, flavorful, and fun! I think my favorite was the coconut but it’s a toss up between that and the blueberry! Great customer service and a great product-​what else could you want? Oh yeah, super fun and unique fortunes.

This company is great!!! They have amazing customer service and great products. I always send giant fortune cookies to my friends to wish them luck on things like taking the bar exam. It is a more memorable and creative gift than boring chocolates or flowers. I love Fancy Fortune Cookies!!!

I had a friend who was recently diagnosed with cancer and was about to go on chemotherapy so I wanted to get something that had some flavors before those qualities left his life.
Him and his wife both found the cookies amazing (see above description). The raspberry one I had from the batch was pretty awesome too. I guess they use all-​natural ingredients and pure cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup which were important elements since my friend was sick.
It was just what they needed, something nice they hadn’t seen before while everyone else was buying cards, calling and sending emails.

This is literally a horrible company. I had placed an order for fortune cookies (this was back in January ’14) for an anniversary present. My order was simply never shipped out, and since the shipment missed the anniversary altogether I wanted a refund. Each time I attempted e-​mailing or calling representatives to request my money back they would either 1) stop e-​mailing me back after I said I wanted a refund or 2) neither pick up or return my phone calls. I would give 0 stars if I could. Horrible customer service, and unreliable shipments.

To celebrate my first anniversary with my husband I thought of sending him a fortune cookie to represent the first year of marriage with «paper.» Since we ate at a Chinese Restaurant the day we were married I thought this was a great idea to send him a giant fortune cookie with a personalized note. They were informative about sending the fortune cookie to my husband’s work at decent time to prevent the chocolate cover fortune cookie from melting. I was a bit disappointed because I did pay for overnight shipping and had to wait at least 3 days to my husband to receive it. I was willing to let that go until my husband brought it home from work at the cookie was not only broken but it cookie itself was burnt! I understand the shipping problem since it was to be delivered to California and the fact that it can break while being shipped but for the cookie to be burnt and inedible ?! Of all things it would of been nice for husband to at least enjoy eating the fortune cookie.

Amazing!!! These guys are awesome and really came through to make sure their product was delivered in time. To be honest, I was a bit wary of the website at first, but I am truly impressed and satisfied with their level of customer service. FedEx messed up my shipment and when I called to let them know that it wouldn’t be here in time, Erin actually had them re-​bake my ENTIRE ORDER right away and overnighted it to me that day. Thanks so much to Erin and her team for making sure the cookies arrived in time for my event! Will definitely shop here again for all my fortune cookie needs!

My company had a great experience with Fancy Fortune Cookies. We had a trade show to go to and we wanted a unique give away for our clients at our table. We ordered the custom orange fortune cookies to match our logo. They printed the logo on one side of each fortune and a variety of 5 chosen fortunes on the other side. They turned out great and the printing was very good quality. They arrived fresh and were a hit! They do taste like fruit loops and people really enjoyed them.

This review is only for their GIANT FORTUNE COOKIES:
I ordered a giant chocolate covered fortune cookie back in October 2013 because my fiancé and I wanted a creative way to ask his uncle to marry us. We thought, «What better way than to put it in a giant fortune cookie!!» I typed out a personalized message when I was ordering the cookie but had some issues with the format of the message. I contacted their customer service and Derek immediately addressed my concerns and helped me with my order!
We were so excited to give my fiancé’s uncle the fortune cookie a couple of days after it arrived! It came nicely packaged and the fortune cookie looked awesome! The message inside was also formatted exactly how I wanted it to look!
The only negative thing was that the fortune cookie WAS NOT EDIBLE. We tried eating it and it almost hurt our teeth trying to bite into it. Maybe I just got a bad cookie because most of the other reviewers can’t stop talking about how amazing they tasted. It was slightly disappointing that we couldn’t eat it but we all laughed about it and don’t regret ordering the cookie!

This is something you’re not likely to find anywhere else. The people that work there seem lovely and were very helpful… but that’s not what is important.
What you need to know is that this gets a 5 because it is cool and unique and if you’re wild about fortune cookies look no further. For the rest of you… this will still never compete with ice cream or cake or chocolate chip cookies.

I purchased a batch of these cookies and some of the cookies contained sayings from someone else’s order (various orders). It made handing out the cookies kind of scary since I never knew what someone would get when they cracked one open (one of the sayings, for example, seemed to belong to a bachelorette party). I contacted the company about four times via both email and telephone with absolutely no response.

Just picked up some delicious Fancy Fortune Cookies for a party we are having Saturday Night. Exceptional personal customer service. Custom colors for our party were no problem, the order was ready ahead of schedule and the product was exceptional.
I enjoy being treated like I matter when patronizing a business, and Erin and the entire team definitely provide that experience. The perfect unexpected addition to any party.

I received some as a gift. They are as great as they say! Flavored cookies (the baked dough part), plus flavored chocolate (some are icing-​like) dipped coating, plus flavored coatings/​sprinkles on top of that. I’m spoiled. Regular Chinese restaurant fortune cookies now seem stale, dull, and boring in comparison.

Just got my third order of fortune cookies this year… for my father’s 90^th birthday party. They were a HUGE hit with everyone who attended. Here was the fave fortune:

We did caramel dipped which were fantastic tasting and also fit our October theme really well. The cookies arrived exactly when they said they would, in perfect condition. Celebrating with custom fortune cookies is so unique because most people have never seen them, so you get real points for style & originality.

Ordered the «I Love You» gift tin on ¹⁰⁄₆ and requested it to be delivered by 10/​9, and it was delivered promptly on that date. Did not have to request expedited shipping or anything, just selected standard shipping. I am personally not a huge fan of normal fortune cookies, but I thought these tasted way better! Can’t wait to try new flavors with my next order :)

I don’t know what kind of ax the negative reviewers here had to grind, but I’ve had nothing but a magnificent experience with Fancy Fortune Cookies. The co-​owner Erin Jump goes out of her way to make me happy, which isn’t always an easy thing considering how neurotic I can be. I’ve started a business centered by custom and clever fortune cookie messages, and I had a previous supplier that was unresponsive and offered a substandard product. The complete opposite has been true with Fancy Fortune Cookies. They’ve bent over backwards to meet my price; their product is superior to my previous supplier in every way; and when they promise something, it’s what they deliver.
Moreover, almost none of the cookies arrive broken or cracked (maybe 1−2%), whereas with my previous supplier that was closer to 15−20%. They bake a sturdier cookie that holds up in the shipping process, and they pack everything securely and beautifully.
No one else in America offers what these people do in terms of custom, flavored and classy fortune cookies. The flavored ones taste magnificent, the color is superb, and the quality of the fortune fonts/​copy is exquisite. And when you’re told something will be delivered by a certain day, that’s the day you get it. I’ve made these people my new supplier. As a result, my business is already starting to take off in a way that was unimaginable before. Buy from Fancy Fortune Cookies for your special occasion or event. You won’t regret it. order placed ⁴⁄₅. per the order form, it specifically asks you «when you would like your cookies to arrive» AND «when is your event.» stated arrival date of ⁴⁄₁₂ and event date of ⁴⁄₁₄. i was throwing my best friend a baby shower and was depending on these fortune cookies for the dessert table!
received fedex tracking number stating it will be shipped out on ⁴⁄₁₀. checked the next two days and still no tracking update so i emailed them again. ⁴⁄₁₂ i receive an email from erin and lo’n’behold, they still had the cookies at the warehouse and didn’t ship them out till that afternoon!
of course, the cookies did not arrive till the 18^th, which by that time, i had no use for them anymore. i asked for a return shipping label hoping that they would take some responsibility, but nope, rather, erin threw their fine print of how they were within the timeframes crap. seriously? why ask your customers when the date of the event and when you need the cookies by if you can’t even take those dates into consideration? very simple, if you can’t meet that timeline, email or call the customer. that’s why we imput our contact information! subsequent to that, i have tried multiple times to reach someone in order to return the useless cookies. of course, no response until the 4^th time, 2 weeks later. and when erin did respond, she took no responsibility and only gave me one option, her option and that was it. talk about UNLUCKY stumbling onto this merchant…
erin, don’t insult our intelligence and confuse good customer service with your BS. Not refunding your customers the full amount of what they paid for (minus the intrinsic value of the groupon) isn’t the «universal policy of every company in the world.»

I ordered a giant fortune cookie to kick off my nieces birthday month. It showed up right on time! I got a really excited call from my niece to thank me for the «wonderful, gigantic fortune cookie.» I don’t live in the same city as them so I haven’t tried the cookie but I hear it tastes great. I did receive pictures; the message is correct and the cookie looks great. I will absolutely be ordering again. Thanks for helping me keep my best auntie ever status!

Horrible customer service. I paid for overnight shipping and I tried multiple times to call and see what is up with my order and no one answers the phone or returns voice messages or emails. it’s been 6 days. I want a refund. If I knew it would take this long I would have just bought the standard shipping. Still waiting for a response call or email. This business claims they value customer service. Maybe they should actually have people that answers the phone !

I don’t know how you can run a business and not 1) answer phone calls 2) answer online chat and 3) respond to emails.
I had a Groupon coupon so ordered my giant fortune cookie and then realized about the message you create is the message that goes inside the cookie. I immediately emailed Erin to see if I could amend it. Mind you: I put my order 3 weeks before the shipment date! Got no response so called a week later and left a message but never got a phone call. Resent the email and then tried out the online chat feature only to find it wasn’t working. Uh… you say you open 8 am to 5 pm EST and I try calling and online cat at 2 pm EST. What’s going on.
Luckily the product itself was okay but warning that you should have the message the way you want it otherwise you’re screwed like me.
Also was able to taste to smaller fortune cookies and it was okay. I guess because of the shipment, the batter has to be a little harder to make it’s way to California.

Fantastic! Who doesn’t love fortune cookies the size of your head?! My husband and I gave each other giant fortune cookies as our presents to each other during our wedding reception and read the messages aloud to the audiences. Our photographers and guest all got a kick out of the new twist on desserts.

We ordered Fancy Fortune Cookies for our wedding and they were a big hit!
We had a brunch reception with pastries & muffins and we also had a candy bar so we didn’t feel a formal dessert was necessary. When I saw the Groupon for FFC, lightening struck! Since our wedding colors were orange, blue and brown, we ordered the flavored cookies in orange, blueberry and chocolate. We also ordered coconut. For our «cake cutting,» we ordered a giant cookie dipped in chocolate with fall-​inspired colored sprinkles.
The minimum number of cookies per custom order is 50. We ended up with 250 cookies and 105 guests, so there were a bunch leftover. My husband and I tried them before the wedding (and of course, we had our share after!) and they were delicious! The blueberry tastes like blueberry waffles. Since we got custom fortunes, the cookies were all baked to order and they tasted fresh and delicious.
The giant cookie was tasty, too! Just enough chocolate. My husband and I fed each other pieces and then our guests went to town on the remaining shards.
Everything arrived in tip top condition. It also all arrived before my requested delivery date. When you place your order, they ask for a desired delivery date.
The only minor issue I had was the custom fortune process. We had a quote from e.e. cummings on one and I typed it in exactly as I wanted it to print but they capitalized the letters. I should have specified in the Special Instructions section, but it might be helpful if they had a fortune proofing process before printing.
I would definitely order from FFC again and highly recommend them for your event!
