I attend this CVS often and usually have a good experience. The service is good, the store is clean, and they have security on-call for those late night visits. However, this past visit was a little disappointing. I ordered photos online so that I could pick up pictures on the way home from work. I was in a bit of a hurry and made a plan to grab the photos and get my prescription. When I ordered the photos, I got an email stating that they were processing, however when I got to the store about 45 minutes later, they didn’t even know I sent pictures. The manager got them printed for me right when I came in… It just took longer than expected. The manager was excellent in assisting me, I just wish the photos were done when I arrived. I will say the manager was EXCELLENT in leading and customer service. The girl at the register was ringing up people a little slow and the manager stepped right in to help assist people to the self-check out kiosk. He did not make her feel bad he just politely stepped in. I was going to rate this CVS at 3-stars, but I give it 4 due to the managers quick response to my photo issues and stepping in to help the girl at the register, so that people were not waiting all day to be rang up. Also, I don’t normally have issues at this CVS. They tend to do a great job.

I came in at 7:50 for the Minute Clinic which was supposed to open at 8. There was one other person waiting. 8am came and went. At 8:20, the NP showed up and said«I’ll be right with you» with zero apologies or explanations. First person was with her for 20 minutes. At 8:40, I was seen, and I mentioned«we thought you opened at 8″ – not in a bitchy way, but not understanding how there was no explanation. She said to me, «Yeah well I’m not going to kill myself on the highway for your eye infection.» Seriously?! I get it if you’re having a bad day. I’ve had them too. I’ve gotten stuck in traffic and been late. Usually a simple, «I’m so sorry! Traffic was awful this morning!» will pretty much make things fine. It certainly would have in this case. This place is not good. It’s a bummer walgreens closed their clinic across the street. I’ll drive north before coming here again.

All I have to say is please be prepared to wait 45 minutes for your prescription refill. The pharmacy is extremely busy. I just moved downtown and I am now considering transferring my prescription to another place.

While in between insurance I went to the minute clinic for an ear infection, top notch nurse practitioner here, very professional, quick and thorough. My wait was about 20min, which went much faster than the given wait time on the registration computer. I didn’t feel any threat or danger at this location but I’m no easy target so I don’t get the attention a lone female might. I did see several ladies coming and going alone but none seemed scared, aware but not scared which is the best way to carry yourself. Overall, the store was clean, all three self check kiosk were functional and the staff was friendly.

Have a bit of a sinus infection so figured I’d try the Minute Clinic in CVS and do a looking around to see what they sold — it’s been a bit since I’ve been in CVS. When I arrived it was lunch time for the NP but was going to be back in 15 minutes. To sign in you have to use a kiosk. The kiosk was very slow! Typing and the letters wouldn’t show up until you were 10 characters past — lord help you if you made a mistake. I was seen about 45 minutes after my arrival. The NP was nice and quickly had me out the door. I used the CVS pharmacy for my rx. What is confusing is if you have to check in with a pharmacist or not — so I ended up waiting in line to double check, come to find out yes you do need to check in and let them know you are waiting. The gentleman who helped was very nice. Once done with that business I decided to take a look around. I was shocked by all the inventory CVS has on their shelves. It’s really a everything market — dairy to booze! The beer/wine prices — I was impressed. Not very high for items on special. Hard liquor — pretty good selection. Wine — I was really impressed by the different labels available. There are also a ton of snacks and last minute items. There are also healthy options but who wants that when the booze is affordable! Go check it out!

After two weeks of attempting to obtain a rx for a specific prenatal vitamin to align with insurance coverage and current cvs stock, I am highly frustrated. I made multiple calls(4 to be exact) to the store to ensure everything was set, multiple visits in person in to that store where I was given excuses for ordering problems(4 times as well)… I showed kindness, understanding, and patience… Problems happen. But today I appeared to pick up my vitamins that were supposedly ready, only to find out its on back order and the other similar medication would be far more expensive. This was never communicated to me. The store continued to be kind as they have been all along but this does not correct the multiple mistakes and poor service I have received. I am very thankful that my med was not vital, however the health of an unborn child is also a priority and this cvs/Caremark care has been deplorable in helping me obtain my needed drug! Ugh!!! Buyer beware– Additionally the location is not fun to frequent– I’ve seen it all in there.

It has a no-fee ATM for Capital One 360 checking accounts. Has a drive thru pharmacy. It actually feels smaller inside than the Walgreens across the street. There are a lot of panhandlers in the area and they are often near the entrance, so if you want to don’t want to deal w that at night, go during the day.

This is by far the worst CVS that I have ever been to. I used to live right next door and I would make the walk across the street to Walgreens just so I didn’t have to deal with the extremely rude staff. If you go in to buy alcohol, be sure you have at least half an hour to wait for someone to come unlock the case. If you’re buying alcohol and ANYONE in the group you came with doesn’t have ID, they won’t sell it to you. Not to mention how often I’ll walk up to a cashier with no one there and they’ll tell me they’re waiting for some random person who’s off doing i don’t know what so they can check me out. Do yourself a favor and go to the Walgreens across the street.

4 stars for this one staff member who is perky at 2am when I’m on a late night snack run and always says«Welcome to CVS! Can I help you find anything?» And who also suggested that if I were to combine the bags of funyuns, cheetos, chicharrones, and cheesy dip, that I should layer the chicharrones first then pour some queso over and do funyuns then more queso and finish with cheetos. Sometimes it’s a mixed bag of patrons, but that’s the beauty of living on this diverse planet!

I prefer CVS over Walgreens any day and that is why I have my scripts filled here. And visit the minute clinic However, in the past year, the pharmacy has decreased in their customer service. They are always busy and stressed, no matter the day or time I come in. As a result, this is the type of service you receive. You feel rushed and that you are bothering them. They are friendly to regulars and greet them by name, which is always great to see. It also makes no difference how many people are working. One visit, there were 5 – 6 person in the pharmacy and things were still crazy. My last scribe took 2 days to fill. 2 days. Not really sure why, but I walked out of the store after 30 mins of waiting for something I know was just in the freezer. Nope, no one called to tell me that it would take that long for my script to be filled. In the past, my script has taken 10 – 20 mins to fill. I would wait by going to the beauty section and looking or makeup to try. The last visit, however, was too much. I will consider that I always walk in to get my scripts and never call before I go as my script is refilled monthly. I guess I would say call them the morning before you need your regular script to be filled so they can have it ready by the time you come home from work. Maybe this would help. I also appreciate that they have never had an issue with my insurance. The minute clinic was great the one time I had to go. She did not make me feel stupid when I came in with what I thought it was… she just made me aware why it was NOT that. The doctor/nurse was helpful and thorough. With my insurance, it did not cost that much. For the area, this was my go-to and I appreciate the services I received during my year here. But I hope the CVS in southern Indy can do a bit better.

I’ve worked with CVS in the past and have never had such terrible experiences as I have at the stores in Indy. This store, in particular, gave me so much problems that I almost missed getting my prescription refilled because of their ineptitude. I tried to be pro-active prior to a previous pick-up to make sure I didn’t need anything(since my doctor is out-of-state) and they assured me it was fine. Then when I went to pick up my prescription, they told me they told me it was out-of-stock, and to come back in a few days. A few days later, it was still not stocked and they needed information from my doctor to approve my prescription. I was left scrambling to get them the information they needed when I tried to be proactive months ago. Then once it was all taken care of on my end, they still didn’t have the item in stock and asked if I’d want to change prescriptions, which is ridiculous! I found the whole situation extremely frustrating and almost resulted in me not getting a prescription I needed filled.

It’s a CVS. It’s a box pharmacy. And it’s across from another non-preservation minded box pharmacy. Like gas stations, these things always seem to set up on at least 2 of 4 corners of a busy intersection – what’s up with that? They have candy, office supplies, makeup, feminine hygiene stuff, tons of magazines – and oh yeah, OTC and prescription only drugs. Best part is their CVS card– if you use it, you almost always get coupons. The design of this one is preferable to the box across the street, but I wish there was a smaller/locally owned pharmacy for these quick grab little things – like the hankering for some peanut butter cups. This chain(and the other) are notorious for knocking down historic buildings to put up their crap designs. If they’d do more retrofitting with existing buildings, I could really be a bigger fan. Sigh.

Average CVS with better-than-average consistency in its prescription services. My prescription is filled on a scheduled, reoccurring basis, and is always ready for pick up when I drop in. Although I have since moved further away from this location, I’ve left my prescription here due to my satisfaction with its handling. I sometimes utilize the mile-long CVS coupon receipt on bath & beauty products, if the savings are worth it, but can typically find the products cheaper elsewhere. The staff are friendly and attempt to be efficient, although can be thwarted by the über-coupon-users or off-base customer questions. This CVS probably needs to better staff its registers during peak periods. The only other negative is being approached by persons for money or etc. outside of the building during my typical early AM visits, when the sky is still dark; more so for the slight apprehension than anything else. I generally feel safe… other than the one time I witnessed someone stealing a massive amount of laundry detergent in one of the aisles, who luckily made a break for it the other way, instead of towards me. Good CVS branch overall.

Drug pick up. Get in, get out, feel the eyes following you. Wait for eons in the pharmacy. I’d prefer marsh pharmacy. Friend to me: why don’t you go to marsh instead? Me to self: huh, why haven’t I ever thought of that? I think it’s something about the 16th& meridian crossing that doesn’t do it for me?

Convenient location downtown. I love my Extra Care bucks! Prices aren’t too awful if I need toiletries and don’t want to drive to a big box store in the ‘burbs.

Convenient location for downtown pick ups. Otherwise, slowest drive thru and in store prescription pick up. Staff was nice enough but plan at least 20 mins for pick ups.

CVS by my house, I applaud you for being open 24 hours a day for all my deranged food and drug needs. Also, when I forget about my birth control until DAYOF, at 11pm, you are there to make sure I don’t get prego. For this, we thank thee. The security guard is a nice touch too.
