Never in my life have I had a someone be so blatantly rude as the woman behind the food counter was. However, the gentlemen at the front desk were amazing and made up for the experience.

My second stay here… both quickee stays to catch hideous flights at 630am or so. Courtyards always pass my 4-must-haves. Friendly, shower power, comfy bed, good wireless. They have recently redone the lobby with the kiosk concept… it is quite nice.

There are only so many things you can come to expect from a Courtyard Marriott hotel. I mean, it doesn’t resemble the flagship JW Marriott properties and doesn’t even bother to try to come close. Far be it from our government to have their travelers stay in decent accomodations(this is why I like being a consultant), we ended up crashing here at the government rate for a Reserve conference. Overall, I guess I can’t complain — it’s about 150 square feet where I can lay my head down at night and get a free breakfast in the morning(something about that uniform). Will I be back? I guess if I’m on government orders. But man, at the risk of sounding absolutely spoiled by corporate life, I can see why government employees are grumpy and pissed off all of the time.
