Caribbean Cove Indoor Water Park

Very disappointed. We stayed here 2 years ago and it was cleaner, nicer then. Couldn’t find the front desk attendant upon check in. I had to call them from my cell and let them know I was at the front desk.
Waterpark was closed (I already knew that — hence a slightly discounted room) but the main floor pool and jacuzzi were open. Jacuzzi was broken which they failed to mention upon booking AND check in. So we had a pool.
Room was disgusting. Only 2 towels for 4 people. Bathroom was dirty. Tub had some sort of yellow goo beside drain. It leaked. All. Night. Long. I had to shove a washcloth in the faucet to stop drip. TV reception was solid fuzz with a lovely Hummm sound. It was New Year’s Eve and we watched the ball drop on CNN since it was the only channel we could somewhat see.
Oh and the side doors were broken. You didn’t need a room key to enter the building at all. One was propped open. Felt super unsafe especially since one door was beside our room. Didn’t even feel safe enough to let my kids go to vending/​ice alone.
Disappointed. The only staff member I could find did not care to help find a compromise, another room, anything… Will not be coming back. Ever.

The hotel looks like it used to be awesome and then they let it go. There was never anyone at the front desk counter when we needed stuff and we wound up having to wait to check in. The waterpark section was closed for repairs defeating the whole purpose of even staying here. The first room had stains on the bed. Called the next morning to see what time breakfast was; they told me it was usually 630‑1030 but they havent set it up yet so i guess theyre not having it… It was 9:30a. They do still have a pool here and the whole hotel smells like it. The whole place smells like chlorine. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

WATER PARK IS CLOSED as of this review. The lobby was extremely dark and desolate. The staff were nice but zombie-​like. The rooms overlook the atrium and there were no lights on in the hallway. The king bed was comfortable. However, there was no comforter on the bed which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but the twin sized box springs were showing. At least put a skirt over the boxes. There was no smoke detector in one of the rooms I switched from and no TV remote in another. The sink water pressure had 3 streams, no kidding. You’d be better off brushing your teeth under the running water of the bathtub.
When I returned to my room that night… no housekeeper had been there. The bed remained Unmade and towels on the bathroom floor. I was told there was no housekeeping on staff due to the holiday. The towels… Were hard, dingy and rough which is okay if you want to have a full body exfoliation.
Bottom line stay somewhere else.

This was definitely the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. One of our party booked this place since a large group of us were in Indianapolis for the big ten championship game, and he obviously didn’t do his research. The whole place smelled, 2 of the 3 elevators to the 5^th floor were out of order, the bed and pillows were dirty and uncomfortable and that was just the major stuff. The one staff member we dealt with was very friendly though.

It’s been about a year and half since we’ve stayed here, it’s went down the toilet! The rooms are gross, the common area near the atrium is gross, dirty towels laying everywhere and trash on the floor!
This will be our last time staying, it use to be very nice and booming with people! Not too mention the only other folks we talked to came for the waterpark, it was closed with no warning when they booked their stay!

Just so we are clear from the beginning every one of the bad reviews on here are not an exaggeration at all. Rude staff, dirty rooms, horrible house cleaning, only hand towels & wash clothes in the room, roaches in the public bathrooms, urine all over the floor & a non caring staff. That’s just the hotel part. The water park is even worse. Rude staff & untrained life guards. The steel that hold up everything is all rusting, gum on all the steps up to the slides, band aids floating in the water, disgusting changing areas, bathroom rooms are gross & one of the toilet areas didn’t even have a door on it. Overall this is the worst hotel & water park we have experienced. Please just keep driving by, please.

This hotel is dirty! It needs to be remodeled VERY BAD! The water park is ok, our kids enjoyed it. Next time we will stay at a different hotel and just pay to come to the water park. The bathrooms in the water park and lobby are disgusting. The men’s especially, according to my husband. We asked the front desk for fresh towels and never received them. This could be a nice hotel to take the family too if they would just take some pride in keeping it clean, and providing customer service.

I was thoroughly disappointed. First off, the room was not clean. The tub looked dirty, the carpets were disgusting & when I moved the couch, there was old food underneath. Also, the lights were flickery and the toilet did not flush properly.
Secondly, the service was probably the worst I have ever seen in a hotel. The staff was so rude & acted as if we were bothering them by asking them to do their job. When I called down and asked for extra pillows and blankets, the woman at the front desk had an attitude and it took them over an hour to bring it up.
Lastly, the waterpark was kind of subpar. It wasn’t very fun at all & the kids were ready to go after less than an hour. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience and was far too overprice for mediocre quality.

Had a great time with the kids. Can’t wait to go back! Ate at the snack bar and they had a great variety for the kids to choose from. Hot tub is very relaxing! Great family fun!

I had been thinking about taking my little monster here for a while but I had heard such mixed reviews about this place… and considering the location is a smidge on the rough side I had previously decided against it. Fast forward a couple years and one begging little person later we ended up here.
I think I paid $ 149.00 for the room for one night plus cost of waterslide admission and it came to just under $ 200.00.
The water part was okay. My little person was too big for the kiddie part and a little small for the other pool. He thought the slides were fun though. The room itself was kinda groody. I mean, it’s not like there was trash everywhere or anything… it was just worn down and old smelling. The carpets left a weird feeling on my barefeet and the shower rod was hanging off the wall instead of in it. The beds have that cheap bleachy smell and the pillows suck. The ice machine either doesn’t work or can’t keep up with demand.
It wasn’t the worst experience but I don’t think I’ll go back. IF I do it will only be for the water part. I won’t be paying so much for a room comparable to a Motel 6.

This place is so dirty. You can’t sit in it for more than 30 minutes without smelling like chlorine for the rest of the day. Very slow and unprofessional service. ⁰⁄₁₀

Excellent customer care upon arrival; So appreciative of the staff.
The in-​pool basketball court was a hot spot for my kids because of the water’s warm temp. Was dissapointed that the kiddie area had water that was so cold. The splash area & kiddie water slides had neat elements and features for kids to explore, but the cool water kept mine running the other way. My recommendation for all of the pools, the kiddie area & the lazy river included is to keep the temps high — no less than 90 degrees in the room, maybe higher and keep the pool temps that high as well. Overall, though, the kids had a fun time and was a lovely way to spend a weekend morning.

The Hotel is VERY dirty, the service is poor. VERY disappointed. I won’t recommended at all. Do not pick this Hotel.

Tried this with my son because we had a conference at the hotel. The place is dirty and poorly kept, and there are no convenient places to change or use a locker (and the lockers are $ 5+ each). We were told we could use the locker room in the atrium, but those lockers were out of order. We used that as a cleaner, dry place to change, but then we had to trudge back to the water park and find the one tiny set of working lockers. The baby pool is warm, but the lazy river is freezing! The one positive thing is the lifeguards. They were very focused on their jobs, and when we passed one in the hall, he was very friendly. Still, I plan on avoiding this place at all costs from here on out!

Not impressed. The kids enjoyed it somewhat… through their shivering. I wore a t-​shirt because I thought it would be warm and humid in there while I watched my grandchildren but I should have worn a sweatshirt. I felt sorry for the people who were wet!
The pool area wasn’t very clean and the bathroom downright dirty. From there it only went down hill.
We went to the arcade after swimming. 25% of the arcade games were broken and had out of order signs on them. Another 25%h of them were broken but not marked with signs so everyone was losing their coins in those machines. Another25% worked but only barely.
The staff were all teenagers who seemed to be bored with the whole ordeal.
I won’t go back and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.

Don’t waste your $$ the facility is GROSS! The water in most of the pools is cold. The 1 shower in the women’s room was dirty and only had cold water coming out. The ‘lifeguards’ are mostly sitting around texting or checking out the girls.

I wish I could give this place Zero stars. The room was nasty and dirty. Me and my family stayed Friday thru Sunday. The room service didn’t come till after 4 pm, they left a family of 4 two towels and didn’t change the sheets on our beds. Most the stuff in the water park wasn’t working, and they clearly say on their website that they provide towels at the water park for hotel guests. They were giving out hand towels that we could dry ourselfs with. It was just a joke. Over half the machines in the arcade don’t work and are out of order. The ones that do work weren’t even giving tickets or working quite right. Worst of all we came home and I discovered head lice on my daughter! I only found 4 bugs and a couple knits so I knew it was a recent thing. No one else but my oldest had them. I would never recommend this place to anyone and don’t waste your money!

I have been here 3 other times. My daughter really likes it. She loves swimming and the slides. It definitely needs to kept cleaner. There were band-​aids and old gum stuck to the floors. There were unsupervised small children diving into and splashing in the hot tub. The price is 15 dollars for person. I don’t think its worth that much. The slides are fun though. This is a good place to take the kids for a little fun.

This place was a joke! Staff was ignorant, uneducated and didn’t know anything about their facility. Pool was dirty! A baby pooped in the pool and staff did NOthing about it. Food was horrible, rooms décor was old, air conditioner did not work, staff never clean our room. Our entire stay was a horrible experience. We even saw a cockroach! Yuk! Don’t spend your money on this garage hotel!

Eh. Don’t bother. Just keep driving.
The water was cold. Too cold to even enjoy. There were 3 water slides and a lazy river. After driving 12 hours, we were excited to stop in and enjoy the lazy river. But once again, much too cold. The attached hotel has a pool and jacuzzi, so save your $ 15 and go there.
