I have been buying appliances from Matthews & Sons for the last 4 years, and have received absolutely excellent service from the owners. They sell great used pieces and also do the service calls for me if I ever have any problems. If you’re in the market for used appliances, this is the place to visit!

I walked into Matthews appliances really not knowing what I needed. I I knew was I needed a new dryer and didn’t know where to begin. Rhonda greeted me and asked me how she could help. I felt really ignorant as I didn’t think about what kind of hook up it was, but she was so kind and caring and told me not to worry. She was so knowledgeable and friendly and solved my problem immediately. They truly are a family owned business and really care about their customers needs. Her husband brought the dryer to my home, hooked it up and made sure everything worked. They treated me like family and I will always remember that! I have recommended them to my family and friends and will go back for all my appliance needs. If you need a new appliance or need one repaired, look no further this place is where you need to go!

Our daughter’s dryer died after a basement flood. I poked around CraigsList, and noticed that Matthews had used dryers for sale. I talked to Rhonda, and was impressed with her candor. 40+ years in business, 30-​day warranty, and relies on repeat business rather than advertising.
I took our dryer to them, hoping for a $ 25 credit against a used machine. Instead, they gave me the number of the part I needed, which I picked up and brought back late that afternoon. In half an hour, they installed it, and I was on the way home.
How many places would repair a broken belt rather than sell you a new dryer?
