Andrew Warner Dog Training

My Fiancé and myself decided to get a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, Whiskey Girl. We are a young couple about to get married and start our life together, We both have had family dogs growing up but we knew we wanted to get our puppy professionally trained since dogs are such an important part of our life. Going for walks, parks, companionship etc… I have always dreamed of having a dog that I don’t have to drag around on a leash (or have it drag me around on a leash), have it be controllable, and not live in a cage when we have company.
I knew Andrew personally from before and have seen his posts about dog training. So I gave him a call. He was telling us about how dogs learn by far the most before 6 Months old. Before we knew it we dropped off our 4 Month old pup to andrew for 2 weeks for the board and train (which was hard for us) But I wouldn’t trust our puppy with anyone else. He was great sending us updates on the daily and whenever we asked about her.
Fast forward 2 weeks and we were driving to go pick her up! We could not wait. We were blown away by what our not even 5 Month old could do. Everything from walking on a leash, to waiting for her food, place, sitting, and staying. Then we went off leashing, We were beside ourselves. I had never owned a dog who could do anything close to this, let alone off leash! She was staying right with us walking through the park, listening to commands, heeling, even doing sit and stays over 100 feet away. Again not even 5 Months old. Crazy to us.
He has helped us gain a dog who is an extension of our life not a dog that we have to go out of our way to take care. He helped us start our long journey with Whiskey a very easy and incredibly rewarding experience. If you are just getting a dog in your life, puppy or older, Andrew has you covered. Andrew truly cares about the animals he works with and is quickly able to produce results. He can suggest many different methods and is able to explain them to owners clearly. His methods are effective and very consistent, which makes him able to quickly reach the desired goals.
The first time I took my dog Jean-​Luc to see him, my puppy wouldn’t walk on a leash. By the end of the hour he spent with me, Jean-​Luc was walking with me, and (rather reluctantly) walking with Andrew when he took the leash from me. We have also taken a puppy class with Andrew, and though the class had about 10 or 12 puppies in it, Andrew was able to give personal attention to each dog throughout the class.
We have enjoyed pack-​walks with Andrew and other owners for several months now, allowing Jean-​Luc to socialize with other dogs. With this exposure and with help from Andrew’s own pet dogs my shy, socially inept puppy has made actual dog-​friends! Jean-​Luc in the last few months also developed a bad habit of barking consistently at night and when my roommate would return home. We discussed several options, and I was really leaning towards medication as the best option. But Andrew convinced me that a bark collar was the best method for fast results. Jean-​Luc is now 100X better. My neighbors have commented on his not barking outside on walks and he is silent all night. I truly appreciate Andrew’s kind attention and sincere interest in the dogs/​owners he works with.

2 weeks ago I dropped of my dog with Andrew thinking to myself, this dog is a lost cause but here you go. What Andrew has done with my dog has to seen to believe it. Once an unruly dog who did whatever she wanted whenever, now understands and respects commands and is able to enjoy freedoms of off leash play. Not only was she well trained, I received consistent information on the progress and detailed information on how to continue her progress. I’m am beyond pleased with the results of the training and super excited to finally have the relationship I’ve always wanted to have with my sweet baby girl.
