Talk about an oasis! My boyfriend and I stayed here last year as well. The excellent service started from the time we arrived to the hotel. We decided to valet the car and were greeted promptly and asked if we needed assistance with our luggage. Jonathan checked us in at the front desk. He is friendly and highly energetic. He took the extra step to make our stay more personable and offered us a free room upgrade. The room we’re staying in is a step up from our last visit. It’s newly renovated and seriously looks like a mini suite. We have a beautiful view overlooking the pool and a balcony. My boyfriend was blown away by the size of the TV. They have several pools to choose from. We usually end up at the «adult pool» as it’s less crowded and doesn’t have kids running around. Drinks poolside are a must! The service is great as is the scenery. I’m relaxed and couldn’t be happier! I highly recommend the Hyatt in Indian Wells!

Customer service sub par. Asked for newspapers that never came. Allowing patrons to smoke in nonsmoking areas & staff did not seem to care. For the price you would think you would get a higher standard. Adult pool nice but cabanas nothing to write home. Grounds very pretty. For such a s spacious proper the gym sucks. No room for floor exercise and when tried to ask to go into other space was told by class instructor it was not permitted. Lame. Food menu mediocre by pool. Would try JW Marriott next time

One of the most stunning hotels I’ve stayed at! Came here for a conference & was definitely not disappointed! Stayed in the king bed room with a few of my colleagues & was blown away with how the room looked! The bathroom was extremely huge complete with bath & tub. We also had a king bed & a pullout bed. We opted for the golf course view. Everything was so green & beautiful!
I also had a chance to visit the villas & that was a mini home away home! You could request a golf cart to bring you to & fro.
The conference center was very professional looking & there were bathrooms everywhere! Which is a great thing because the lines can get long! There was a terrace with couches to the side which had a beautiful view!
The workers were so friendly! Everyone said hello & I appreciated that!
For our gala event, we ordered the chicken & I had carrot cake. Chicken was full of spices which took me by surprise. The cake was a bit dry. Not the best hotel food I’ve had.
The place is so gorgeous & looking forward to my next stay!

We visit the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells at least once every couple of months. It’s a fairly short drive from our home and is our go-​to for a staycation getaway. The staff at this hotel is always friendly and accommodating and the hotel offers some very nice amenities like several pools, the desert tube (a must to check out), a couple of bars, spa, large and nice gym, club room, game room, bicycle rentals, etc. I’d guess that at least ¾ of the rooms have beautiful pool or golf course views and most have been fairly recently remodeled. The last couple of stays (Thanksgiving and New Year’s weekends), we had a couple of hiccups while there regarding checking in and upgrades but nothing too crazy and the hotel staff was apologetic and accommodating for it. The biggest issue was this last time when we were «upgraded» to a suite that clearly hadn’t been updated since the 1990’s and overlooked the valet. It was grim, dingy, and depressing and we actually asked them to downgrade us to a remodeled standard room overlooking the golf course, which was a much better room, in spite not being a suite. I look forward to going back and will be sure at check-​in that whatever room I have is updated/​remodeled.

Beautiful hotel.
Stayed for a 2 day conference. The whole hotel seemed to be booked for the event which didn’t phase the hotel staff or restaurant staff members. When booked I mean about 5,000 attendees at the event had to have stayed at the hotel.
Throughout the weekend the hotel and meeting/​conference rooms were kept clean and the staff was friendly.
5⁄5 for conference holding.
Rooms were big and spacious. We had a King room that came with a pretty large bathroom. Our room looked out into the kid pool which had a slide.

Such a bad experience. First, don’t come here during the holidays because we had an one hour delay for check-​in. The front desk admitted this happens often during high-​peak holidays (blew my mind that they said it out loud to excuse their delay). Second, when we got into our room there was a used cup outside our door. The guy at front desk said that since the cup is outside the room the room is «technically» still clean. He said that dining service and house cleaning are different and that’s why it was left outside.
Hotel rooms weren’t super clean either. For the price, I would suggest just going somewhere else. There’s a lot of other resort options in the area.
Edit: They did end up giving us $ 50 credit on both days. After our second complaint, they gave us free breakfast as well.

This place never seizes to amaze me! Been coming here for the last 5 years and they keep us coming back! Customer service is excellent. Food, drinks, spa, and staff is awesome and i wish all resorts and hotels could b more like them! I have never had a bad experience at this place or perhaps i have but they rectified so well that i didn’t even realize it! This is truly my home away from home! Thank you Hyatt Indian Wells for doing what you do best! Special recognition to Ruben, Neil and Maiya and the rest of the gang, you all rock!

Clean, modern and deluxe. This resort is way more than just a hotel. Meander along peaceful, palm-​lined paths, dip your toes in one of several pools, relax with a stress-​relieving spa massage and eat expensive but upscale food.

Great resort. Golf course was well maintained and hotel amenities were everything we were looking for and more. Gym was large compared to other resorts we’ve been to — lots of cardio machines, but light on the free weights. The polls were expansive, very calm, and relaxing.

This resort was an Oasis in the middle of the desert. My husband and I stayed here while we visited Palm Springs earlier in the month. It was a fun time. :)
Multiple pools to swim in, clean and spacious rooms, and friendly staff.
We enjoyed the Sunset Agave bar in the lobby area, they had a live band playing at night.
Saw that President Obama & China’s President Xi Jinping also hung out here near the golf courses in 2013, was pretty cool. They had a display case showing that.
Liked that they had water stations in the lobby for you to enjoy.
There was an Italian Festival happening across the street from the resort on the wknd we were there & the hotel gave us complimentary admission to the festival. The valet staff was kind enough to give us a ride to the festival in their golf cart. Wheee! :)
While this resort is at least 18 miles away from Palm Springs, it was still a cool place to relax and hang out.

Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa — Villas = 4 stars
This is a nice resort option in the desert area. I’ve stayed many times.
A close drive to decent restaurants and shopping and far enough away from palm springs to really feel like you’ve gotten away from it all. Great golf just by stepping out the door. My review is for the 1 – 2 bedroom villas and not the general hotel tower rooms.
The villas include a large master bedroom with massive bathroom, full tub, shower and skylights in the bathroom, good not great amenities and soaps. The living room and kitchenette portion are nice with a wet bar, fridge with sodas included, microwave oven, stereo system with in ceiling speakers for ambiance.
The back yard includes in ground spa with water feature, stainless bbq, landscape lighting, patio table and chairs with umbrella, several chaise lounges and seating areas all off your private master bedroom and living rooms. Located on golf course and tucked away behind the resort spa, these villas are the only way to go if you can splurge a little. Lot’s of privacy, quiet and tranquil and close to self parking lot. Nice way to come and go without calling valet each time.

Aside from the new [somewhat confused] girl checking me in, my room seems great, my vegan ravioli dinner was fantastic (flavor with a little kick), and restaurant staff was terrific. The manager Natalie came by to inquire about my meal and even engaged in friendly conversation as to what brought me to town, she made recommendations upon my request, and genuinely made me feel welcome at this hotel.
Recommendation to hotel — hire more like Natalie.

My boyfriend took us here for a mini vacation over the weekend. Originally, I wasn’t so eager to come due to the ridiculous summer weather that Palm Springs offers but the hotel was beautiful and made the trip well worth it. Best of all, they had air conditioning blasting so you can cool down the second you step inside.
The rooms were very spacious with a comfortable and large bed along with a pull out couch in the living room area. For the money that we were paying, we were getting a steal! Everything was clean and the curtains were great from keeping the sun coming into the room. They also have a huge flat screen TV for your entertainment. The TV’s graphics were amazing. When we turned out all the lights, we both thought that the screen was so life like and actually kind of hurt our eyes lol.
Check in/​out process is really simple. The staff is friendly and helpful and made everything accommodating. You can easily check out on your cell phone, so you can leave whenever without waiting in line.
We also upgraded our rooms to a higher floor with a better view for an additional $ 10. This was a good call because we actually overlooked the pools instead of the parking lot. Although it was ridiculously hot, we made some time to visit their «oasis pool» which is strictly for adults. I highly suggest that you go here because there are actually a lot of families who come to the property. At the Oasis Pool, you are able to lounge around, relax, and order drinks. On Saturdays and Sundays, they offer $ 5 Bloody Mary’s and mimosas. We tried their mimosa which was good and strong.
Sadly, we weren’t able to try/​see all of their amenities. But this is a great hotel in Indian Wells. We will definitely be back!

Father’s Day ‘2015
This is our 2nd annual Father’s Day trip to this resort (7/21/15)and we received even better service. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly, attentive and took the time to put us closer to the pool because we had two teenagers who would be using the pool frequently. It was a great room location, THANK YOU!
About Golf, not only is everything about the resort great, golfing is great too, great course, great prices and the folks at the shop are just as fantastic!
Hyatt groups have been our go to hotels and resorts, the place is always beautiful, the rooms always comfortable and the service always driven by customer satisfaction. Check out my other reviews, as you can see, we are Hyatt fans and with service like this, we’ll continue to be!

I enjoyed my stay here but did not like a few things. I stayed in the two bedroom suite off the golf course. It was a nice room but pretty far from the main building. In 99 degree weather, it meant by the time I got to the lobby or the lounge I was already drenched in sweat. They do have cart service and will pick you up at your room and take you where you need to go. Some of the service/​drivers are great. Others were just feeling the heat I guess. Overall service was great though and everybody was super kind.
There is a private jacuzzi and BBQ if you stay in the two bedroom suites so if enjoy or have time to do a BBQ, it’s quite nice. There’s wholefoods, Ralph’s, and Von’s a few miles away.
What’s also great is that they have a pretty long list of complimentary items they will drop off at your door if you forget something from home.
All in all, if you like golfing, this place is for you. I’m not a golfer nor someone who likes to sit in the sun poolside in99 degree weather. The adult pool was packed both days I was there.
This hotel is not walking distance to anything off its property except a gold course and another hotel. If you want to be closer to the city, I’d stick with a smaller hotel located more centrally. They won’t be as nice but you can walk around the city at least.
