Four of us dined here on 6÷5÷16. Our friends were here before and we were meeting them. They were familiar with how to order and we were not. A server came by and confused us about ordering and gave us some cups for sodas. The manager came by to clear things up which showed he was on his game.
Now the food. I shared a Philly cheese steak with my buddy. It was very good but a little salty. We all shared a deep dish pizza and it was delicious. I will be back.
TIP: call ahead of time if you know what you want. They make the pizza fresh and it takes time. If not, go to the counter to order first then have a seat. Don’t expect a host to seat you or wait staff to take your order. Now that I know the setup I am good with that. Good place.

The service was A+ and everyone was friendly and polite. The food was nothing special. I was very excited after I read the reviews, however it was very average or slightly below. I ordered lots of items to take back to the hotel for others to try. Plus they forgot my drinks :/

Our second time here, first time was great! Today not so much, we had a party of 6, sat in the back it was very warm like the air was off, one couple in our party ordered a pizza the rest had sandwiches, when the pizza was brought out they called a name and it happened to be the same name as one we had at our table, so they brought it over because we thought it was ours, we quickly figured out it didn’t have pepperoni, soon after waiting for a waitress to come to ask about it but they had already put slices on plates, the waitress then came out with the right pizza and got very nasty when she realized we received the wrong pizza originally, she then was going to take the correct pizza back and talk to the manager, then she came back and asked for the first pizza back. She was very unprofessional about the entire situation making it seem like it was our fault, she never apologized for the confusion or anything. Don’t think we’ll be returning.

I will preface this review that I am from Chicagoland, and have been sorely missing Chicago «tavern style» pizza. Someone that loves the food from another part of the country may not appreciate the food and atmosphere as much as I do. This place has answered my prayers, though! Great pizza, and not just good for Florida — it’s good for Chicago. It wouldn’t have been my #1 favorite if we were back in Chicago, but after we tried this place several weeks ago, the pizza kept randomly creeping back into my thoughts. We went back again last night and it was just as enjoyable, and seems to be getting a bit more crowded, which makes me happy.
I am hoping that at some point they consider changing it to a full service restaurant (wait-​staff). It’s a big bummer to have to get back in line in the middle of your meal to get another beer, or a cup for water, and I think it would just overall improve the experience. That being said, the price is definitely right! A 16″ thin crust pizza (enough for 4 adults) of the same quality would have been $ 20+ in Chicago suburbs, but here it’s $ 17 including one topping.
I am looking forward to going back sometime on an afternoon when the Cubbies are playing and have a Vienna hot dog. P. S. — While we love that they have Goose Island 312, we’re wondering if there’s any chance of getting Old Style?!

Very good. felt like I was in Chicago. We went early 3 tables and it took at least 30 min to get our food… that was the only downside. Worth the trip even if it is slow. Their fries are five guys style… ymmmm.

No white Sox only cubs memorabilia very nice! We had the sausage n beef combo. Cost extra for Gardena ire and cheese but it’s by far better than mustards last stand. The rolls make a huge difference! Delicious!

I’ve been to this establishment twice and have been satisfied each time. The Italian beef sandwich is great. I almost got it twice but decided to try another item, which was the meatball parm. It was excellent as well. Great environment and usually has the Chicago teams on the tv if they are playing. Come in and patron this business, you won’t be disappointed.

So Im a retired chicago cop having eaten every pizza in town for decades. I dont know where the idea for this operation ever came from but it’s not Chicago.
1. Big bottle neck at the front door. Not inviting.
2. They take your order like they are doing you a favor.
Chicago people dont act like that.
3. No friggin garlic bread. Are you out of your mind!
4. SO I ORDER, garlic bread and they look at me like im from outer space.
5. I order an extra cheese pizza with sausage! (why extra cheese. Because im in florida and these people think cheese is caviar and they sprinkle it around like its gold dust)
6. I seat myself like im a prisoner or back in marine boot camp. AM I IN THE ITALIAN MC DONALDS?

I tell little ms redneck that ain’t my pizza. She looks at me like I was a naughty kid and said «look, I can make up some sausage and bring it here and put it on your pizza»„ I said no you wont.” She said then you got to wait another hour for your pizza.” Make it!!!
10. So while I’m waiting for pizza #2 with nothing to drink… Thank god for Vinny B … Who kept the evening fiasco moving with great tunes.

13. The pizza was edible. 50% better than any other
Florida joint. At least you almost tried. But the system stinks and yes I was at the Italian Mc Donalds. Cause they wouldn’t dream of bussing a table or seating you or Getting you another drink either.
Recommendations: a. dump that crabby ass staff,
b. Get some garlic bread on the menu, c. Raise your prices and put some damn cheese on the pizza.
D. Get some happy staff that seat you, clean up and get you another drink so you don’t choke.

Awesome deep dish pizza. Best in the area !!! Price was extremely reasonable. Sauce was undeniable freshest we have had. Wait time was lengthy but well worth it. The staff is extremely courteous and welcoming. Definitely will be returning soon !!

Best deep dish pizza. The folks are great and the music puts you right in Chicago. Lots of TV’s to watch games.

We came in late and they were out of the large of thin and Chicago. It’s not a big deal when it’s made fresh, but the staff seemed to be offended that I was shocked. I said «You’re killing me» but more as a joke and that could have been where the disconnection of communication occurred. The pizza too a while and was ok. They were getting ready to close and maybe I’ll try it again. Not sure if the pizza was good enough to try again. Their Chicago style is about the only kind in town.

We went because of all the great reviews so maybe my expectations were to high. It is a little weird setup but kinda similar to Mustard’s Last Stand in Melbourne but bigger.
Our order didn’t take long and it was nice and hot. My husband’s food was good to him and he enjoyed it. My cheese steak was ok, I guess expected more because of the pics and reviews. But my real complaint is the chili cheese fries. The fries looked great but they were super plain tasting, the chili was probably the worst chili I have ever had. To say «can chili» is being nice. I put salt & pepper on it very heavily hoping they would taste better but I tasted my husband’s plain fries & they were no better. I just threw mine away. I wanted to take them back to the counter but there was a line & I looked around at the other customers eating their food with chili?
Maybe the burgers, pizza and dogs are great but I was not impressed. The location is great, the décor is nice and the staff was nice even though you can hear everything thing the say or do behind the wall.
Also, I have noticed that they respond to every review either here or on FB, fyi that is a little creepy.

Food is outstanding but something has to change about there being no table service. We walked in and nobody was there to welcome us so we sat down. While waiting for our server for about 10 minutes I walk up and ask about it. They replied we don’t do that here. It doesn’t make sense to me why they wouldn’t have somebody to take our order instead you have to order at the counter then sit down and wait for your food. Then there’s a woman who was standing off the side near the back just peeking out waiting for people to leave. Why not just have her take people’s orders if they sit down first. Who wants to read a menu while there are people in line behind you and order or read the menu at the table then walk back up to the counter. Makes no sense to me. Needs to be changed.

Delicious deep dish pizza. It had lots of cheese and was cooked perfectly. Love! The only thing I wish they added to their menu was a salad.
*You order at the counter and then they bring the food to you. Then it’s self-​service from there.

Mouthwatering, authentic Italian beef sandwich… goes nicely with delicious hand cut fries. Make sure you order it «wet» with sweet peppers AND Papa Charlie’s hot Giardiniera… OMG!!! I felt like I was in Chicago! They even have «The Italian Stance» posted on the wall for the newbees (institutions for eating an Italian beef). Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Not to be missed!

In town for the weekend and stopped in to try a combo Italian Beef and Sausage and the Fresh cut fries. Being from Chicago I know a little something about Italian Beef and I have to say Wise Guys was spot on! The icing on the cake was they had ice cold Goose island IPA to wash it all down! I’ll be back!!! It was amazing!!! Great job and very friendly staff too!

Great Chicago style sandwich place. I ate the combo Italian beef and sausage and it’s right up there with Portillos and Al’s Beef! Great place when you’re not in Chi town, but crave the sandwiches. Be sure to get the sandwich wet. The gravy is great! My new favorite for sure.

Stopped in yesterday to watch the Bears game. What a find! The food is authentic Chicago fare. The Italian beef was as good as Portillo’s in Chicago (the gold standard). The staff was great, the place was hopping and there was plenty of indoor AND outdoor seating to watch the game — with audio! FINALLY a place with amazing food that always has the Chicago games. Thank you for bringing the best of Chicago to the neighborhood!
