Dr. Stagg and her team are truly committed to their patients well being!

I was shocked after reading the reviews on here. I am a patient of Dr. Stagg’s and I have had nothing but GOOD experiences at that office. I have never had someone spend that much time with me at an appointment and she actually LISTENED to my concerns and questions and answered EVERYTHING for me. She knows what she is talking about, I would not trust ANY ONE else with my mouth ever again. I’m really into the whole holistic approach and she helped me see how everything health wise is connected. She seems to really put her ALL into every visit that I am there. I use a lot of the homeopathic products that only that office carries (cant seem to find them anywhere else) and the staff is ALWAYS so friendly and nice. Again, I have only had positive experiences here so I guess to each their own! If you want QUALITY care and home-​like office feel, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Very different from most dental places I’ve been.

****update**** after posting this review I so happened to get an erroneous $ 255.85 bill.
Please avoid at all costs.

I explained the exact reason for my young daughters visit when making the appointment. They assured me the Dr. could handle the issue for a child my daughters age.
I arrive and the staff is lovely. Very polite and helpful DESPITE the constant negativity and belittling they receive from the Dr. The hygienist/​assistant was also very polite, gentle and patient with my daughter.
The Dr finally enters the room and while she’s polite to my daughter, the entire experience was incredibly traumatizing for her. The Dr. spends the entire time talking about my daughters throat closing while she’s sleeping, how important breathing is (because her tonsils were swollen), discussing how she’ll need surgery (what?! she is supposed to be a holistic dentist…), how this tooth needs to be pulled, etc. IN FRONT of my small child! By the end of the so called «exam», my daughter was shaking and in tears. The Dr. tells me she can’t do anything that my daughter needs and proceeds to push us off on our old dentist (over 1 ½ hours away), our primary care doctor and ANOTHER doctor she «recommends».
The Dr. did not xray my child’s teeth, nor did she clean them (which was the purpose of the visit). She looked at the teeth, did a few measurements and for this I was charged over $ 140.
As I was exiting to pay the bill, I got to experience, yet again, the poor treatment of her staff. She proceeds to reprimand them in her office (directly behind the check out counter) loud enough for us to hear the entire conversation. This was the 3^rd time the Dr. did this to her staff during our visit.
Stagg claims to be a holistic dentist however she is the exact opposite. While she may carry and recommend holistic products in her office, her recommendations of non-​holistic dental treatments (surgery, root canals, dye for the teeth, etc) and her bashing of holistic medicine overwhelms a client.
I should’ve been told she would refuse to see a child, when I clearly explained the dental issue we were facing on the phone. I paid way too much for her to just terrify my 7 year old.
The worst dental experience ever — I will never return.
