Great value if you’re looking for beach views from room, quick access to lovely beach, and no crowds. We traveled with our kids under 5, and we were more than happy with our experience. We had room on 5^th floor and it was king suite. Very happy with accommodations and view!
Pros– every room has balcony overlooking ocean, room balcony connects to bedroom so view is incredible, no cars on beach, beach sand is thick for sand castle building, beach is steps away from pool, hot tub outside, can order food/​drinks at pool bar, rooms are spacious and allow privacy from kids, Walmart and public very close by. Coffee make and fridge in room.
Cons– no microwave in room, all hotel food is a bit pricey so we just brought in food or went out, 1 elevator for 16 floors so have to be patient, had some ants one day BUT we also had crumbs all over floor (they took care of it and we were fine after), cleaning crew didn’t do an immaculate job.
Tips– get a room on floor 4+ to ensure good view, go crab chasing on beach at night with flashlight, don’t leave crumbs around room! Try to get room with carpet. Bring your own food/​snacks to save money.

This was my first time to visit Melbourne, Florida on business. The Radisson Suite Oceanfront, is an award-​winning hotel located directly on the beach. All rooms including my room 1006 for only $ 150 on the tenth floor had gorgeous ocean views. As you can see from my pics I would awake every morning to the sounds of the Atlantic ocean’s waves breaking. When I took my shower I could also enjoy my ocean views.
Free Wi-​Fi, a fitness center, a heated pool, beach equipment rentals, the Radisson has everything you need for an unforgettable vacation or business trip as was my case.
Enjoy floor-​to-​ceiling windows, two sliding doors in my bedroom and living room and private balconies overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
The hotel is only eight miles from Melbourne International Airport (MLB), so you can hit the beach as soon as possible. MLB did not offer any non-​stop flights from EWR. I would have to stop some where on the way down. I decided to fly non-​stop from EWR to Orlando (MCO). I rented a car and drove down about 1 hour and 15 minutes to Melbourne.
My check-​in and check-​out was smooth. I really liked this hotel.

It’s very musky and cheap. The room kind of makes my skin crawl. I would advise putting down a towel or something before sitting on the couch. I tried to put on my big girl panties and suck it up and have a seat on the couch and a puff of smelly dust surrounded me. It’s just long overdue for a renovation. The metal is rusting which I’m aware does happen being Oceanfront. Perhaps if someone cleans the floors you wouldn’t be stepping on the rust shavings. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. One last thing… the cheapest air mattress you could buy would be more comfortable than this bed. Have a few drinks before you check in. Beautiful view!

Warning, this is not a Luxury Hotel, not even remotely close… Stay away!!! I can’t believe this is the 2^nd best Hotel in Melbourne. This place is dirty and old. When we checked in I knew we were in trouble by the look of the parking lot. Service trucks and vans blocking the entrance and not letting anyone get by. Who in there right mind lets the Maintenance crew park there vehicle in front of the door? From that point it all went down hill quick. They gave us a room on the 9^th floor I believe an I ended up getting a so called suite (paid extra for a Jacuzzi Tub) since it was my wife’s birthday so she can relax. There are two elevators in the entire building and they run like an old car. Took quite some time to go up to our room. As soon as we got out of the elevator you can immediately notice that the building hasnt been pressured washed or painted in years. Since this was my wifes birthday I already was embarrased for picking out this Hotel. We enetered into our room and immediately got hit with a stale smell coming out of the AC. The room looked like it was decorated in the 80’s a chair thrown here and there. The only upgrade this room had was a new TV that swiveled between the Bedroom area and the sitdown area. So we opened the shades to see our view and I must say it was magnificient. We had a balcony that wrapped around our room since we were the last room on the floor. We sat outiside for a moment and unfortunately the couple below us decided to smoke there cigarretes on the balcony and blow it our way. We had to go back in, so much for that idea. So included in this upgraded suite was a Serta dial by number bed. We were both looking forward to this since we were tired from driving all day. I proceeded to lay down on the bed and it was rock hard. I spent half hour trying to adjust both sides of the bed to no avail. I believe a prison bed would be a 200 percent upgrade over this bed. Another huge dissapointment. For some reason there were certain sections of the bed that were just protruding straight to my back. Long story short, the bed was crap. We did not sleep well at all. So back to the Jacuzzi, it seems that the tub was fabricated in the early 80’s and was faded out and dirty. Needless to say my wife did not use it at all. We ended up going to bed because unfortunately I was called in to work the next day. At about 2:00 a.m. the AC unit started making loud noises and stopped blowing cold Air. At that moment I was completely done with this place. We couldnt check out fast enough the next morning. During our check out I did mention all the issues concerning the room including the AC issue and to my surprise the lady at the front desk told me Why didnt I report this at 2:00 a.m. so we could have switched your room out for you. The answer was easy. When I go on vacation I do not expect or want to change rooms with all our luggage at two in the morning. She did not reply. I told her that I would expect you to do something about the bed and AC before you rent this room out again but I am pretty sure that they did nothing. Front desk was not really listening to me so I dropped it and left. I did get a survey from Radisson the next day and did mention the issues that I had. I got a generic corporate answer that they would look into my concerns. Pity that the hotel has potential but I really think that the Radisson just bought this place up because of the location. Radisson needs to send a team in there and just redo the whole building. Till then just stay away. Drive the extra miles north or south and stay elsewhere. Thinking of contacting Anthony Melchorri of Hotel Impossible. This place would be a perfect fit for the show. What a dissapointment…

Fabulous view from two balconies, and right on the beach. Beautiful emerald green outdoor lighting at night. Friendly front desk staff. Sleep number beds. Breakfast was a quasi-​Cracker Barrel buffet, a bit pricey but convenient. You’re charged an extra $ 2 for SBux coffee, which tastes like regular supermarket brand so I recommend skipping the java and going elsewhere, if you have the time.

Stayed here for our anniversary, the views from our room our to die for, staff was very nice, only problem my wife works out every morning and gym was being refurbished, will be back hopefully the gym will be finished..

Friendly folks at the front desk. Got us a room on extremely short notice. Fantastic view. I mean, really, really fantastic view.
Manager accommodated us immediately when our initial room smelled like an ashtray. We were moved and got a room with just as nice of a view for a little less. Win/​win.
Breakfast buffet was priced fair and food was good. Eggs, waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausage, biscuits. Just about Denny’s quality, but considerably more convenient since its on site in the lobby.
Would stay again, one of the nicer hotels on the strip and prices are fair. Great beach access (though dogs are everywhere on the beach), pool and hot tub.
It’s not a 5 star hotel, but it’s perfectly for for a getaway convenient to cocoa beach to the north and Melbourne beach itself is pretty righteous.

Room was pretty cheap for oceanfront 11^th floor views.
Their wifi is a joke, but who needs wifi on vacation? Well some people might depend on it and if you don’t disappointment will happen. They have installed home consumer grade wifi hot spots in some of the rooms. So when you scan you will see unprotected hotspots that are room numbers. When I called the front desk they told me to just connect to any of them (there wasn’t one for my room) — I tried a few of them and none worked. Its likely best for them to just remove the wifi hotspots and forget about it.
Its an older hotel from the late 80s or early 90s. Its in decent shape but the room had a mild infestation of those little small sugar ants that are drawn to water. This doesn’t bother me as much, and well its Florida however others may be horrified.
I would stay again if I had a purpose in the area, but I wouldn’t take a date there or book it for romantic beach weekend or anything.
Staff was super nice and personable.
Ocean views were almost biblical in presence. That sunrise is the stuff of hallmark cards.

Impressed! Kind staff, free parking and beautiful Ocean Front King Bed Suite for a decent price. Did I I mention the bed is a sleep number? And they even had space to store my longboard! Will be coming back and recommending to others :)

Stayed here for a couple of nights for a getaway with my wife. View is phenomenal!!! Room is clean, spacious and well laid out. The staff was pleasent and eager to please. The whirlpool tub is large enough for two and was a nice addition to the room. The pool and surrounding areas was nice and the pool bar looked to be an ok place. Did not use the restaurant or room service. I seen some reviews saying that the elevator was slow, I did not think so. They are doing some upgrades and such. It is close to shopping and eateries. The only thing I wish was that there was a microwave in the room. We are definitely planning on going back. The room was a great value.

All of the rooms have an ocean view, which is awesome! Also, my room was HUGE and had a great balcony that I could get to from both the bedroom as well as the living area. The bed was very comfortable, as was the room overall. The bathroom was a little bit small in relation to the rest of the room, but it wasn’t an issue. The entire room was quiet and very clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast at the onsite restaurant and really enjoyed it. The property is close to lots of restaurants, in particular a fantastic Cuban restaurant nearby on the other side of the street. I would highly recommend staying here, and we definitely will be back!

I really enjoyed this place. Stayed there 3 nights in early summer. The bed is soo comfortable and I wanted to buy the comforter I liked it so much. Best bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. Loved the layout of the room. Half of the balcony on the bed side half on the other. It is a great place when you just want to relax and unwind. There is a restaurant/​bar next door which is good. Walmart is across the street. Melbourne seemed a bit boring but I enjoyed the stay at the hotel.

I love the fact that these were condos so the rooms are large! Every room has an oceanview (a BEAUTIFUL oceanview on the higher floors especially).
I have stayed here several times now with either just my sister or with my husband (when he was alive) and kids.
The bedroom has a large bed but it’s an inoperable SleepNumber bed… it was kinda funny (but NOT really when you want a good night’s sleep) — my sister was laying on the remote for the bed accidentally in the middle of the night so the empty side kept on pumping up and pushing her off the bed!!! I slept on the pullout couch (like I said, two totally separate rooms sharing a jack and jill style bathroom).
You will have a fridge and one of those standard pod coffee makers. I prefer them to my Kurig (I worry about the plastic and prefer the «real» filter).
The staff COULD NOT be nicer and eager to please.
The elevator is SLOW AS CAN BE… the stairs would be faster even if you’re overweight and tired humping tons of luggage on your back.
You accrue points for each stay so this past stay last week was only $ 80/​night. Good sized pool and jacuzzi on the ocean and not many screaming kids, which was nice since it was just my sister and I this time.
I was swimming in the ocean — couldn’t believe how few people were — when my sister started pointing and saying «Jeannie I think that’s a shark! Or two fish swimming– I see fins??!» I laughed thinking she was being a jerk when a nanosecond later a GROUP was pointing and screaming about the shark and I look as it zips by me, lol, literally 10 feet away. Pretty cool …
My sister and I were hanging out a lot on the terrace… this time we were «upgraded» to a different style room– didn’t work for us as it was one big king bed (it did have a nice bathroom tub though w/​jets but who is hanging out in their room???) and ONE TV… so we said NO THANKS… then she «upgraded» us again (Melissa, THE SWEETEST GIRL ON EARTH AT THE DESK! BRIAN IS AMAZING TOO… they all are, honestly). This second upgrade WAS nice… a wrap around terrace BUT on the third floor RIGHT over the pool/​jacuzzi area — we turned that down also b/​c of the noise factor (corner room with the entry to the jacuzzi/​pool right there– would have been noisy ANY no bloody carpet!!! It was tile floor THROUGHOUT like we were staying in one big kitchen or bathroom lol… and smelly/​buggy — maybe bc it was close to pool ???)
The final room was awesome other than no carpet (tile everywhere — I think it’s a southern thing b/​c of hurricanes, close to ocean and water dragging in from pool…). I live on the ocean but in NY and we don’t do tile floors on the ground level? Hard wood or carpet is normal. I guess it just took us off guard and we didn’t like it as much as all the other visits.
Great bang for your buck lol… I hate that phrase but in this case it’s true.
Clean…nice staff… good facilities… I’m still a Hyatt fan most over all (even over Mariott and Hilton) but this is good. My sister’s favourite and she’s been to many, many hotels.

Nice hotel. Clean. All rooms ocean view. No microwave in rooms. Very little dresser storage space. The views are amazing. The pool and jacuzzi are very nice and the food at the pool bar is pretty good. The burger is 10 50 and comes with cheese and all the fixins and fries and it is huge. Cocktails and mixed drinks are also available

Vacation is all about relaxing and enjoying! Pick a great view by the ocean and listening to the nonstop ocean waves sound is a money can’t not buy relaxing!

Stayed here for a couple of nights for our nieces beachfront wedding. The ceremony and reception were both held here.
Pros: We had a blast at the wedding, the food was good, and staff professional. The view is awesome. Our room was a clean well decorated suite. Bonus, Sleep Number Bed! Great beach access. Weather was perfect.
Cons: The elevators are a real patience test, two total serving a 16 floor hotel and really slow. The front desk staff was very polite and well manned, but they have no luggage carts for guest use. No problem right? Just tip the bellman. Except the weekend we were there they seemed to have only one on duty for the whole place. On Sunday AM with noon checkout time it was physically impossible to get bell service even though we saw him running non-​stop. Ended up carrying our bags up to our room ourselves at check in and back out again at check out.
We’d stay here again but perhaps plan our packing differently knowing we were going to have and cart our own bags.

Stayed in the 15^th floor ocean view side and it was amazing! The TV stations sucked, but who’s watching TV with that ocean view?
The jacuzzi tub was great. I love the soaps and shampoos the Radisson have in the rooms. They smell really good and are not harsh on the skin or hair.
Only bad thing at this place was the food. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE pizza and wings! Didn’t order anything else. I figured if they can screw up a chicken wing that horribly, I’m not risking it.

The great — there are no bad views in this hotel, you get panoramic views of the ocean from any room and it’s breathtaking. The rooms are clean and the hotel staff is very nice and accommodating. It’s a great spot at a great price and it feels like the best view ever!!!
The disappointing — they have sleep number beds that make me feel like I’m sleeping on a blown up or deflated balloon. My room had one that took so long to inflate we thought it was faulty. Ended up changing rooms to avoid feeling the spine of the bed. Got «upgraded» to a corner suite… good intentions but now as I lay on my well inflated bed I can hear the base of the live band in the blues restaurant next door (avoid the north corner it’s a loud «upgrade») guess I’ll play musical room changes again in the morning.

We had a great experience here. We booked a room through
and upon check up we got upgraded to a penthouse suite! It was fantastic. This place was very clean. The view was amazing.
It was nice to sit on the couch with the sliding doors open and watch a movie with the sea breeze rolling in. We ordered some room service and while the food quality was good, it is definitely overpriced. Only order if you are too lazy to leave the room and wiling to over pay.
We had an excellent night sleep with the doors open and the soft crashing of the waves lulling us to sleep. They have sleep number beds and soft, fluffy white comforters. Also loved their bath towels, surprising soft and plush for hotel towels.
We hit the breakfast bar in the am — great selection of items like waffle maker, French toast, muffins, eggs, biscuits and gravy, red potatoes, bacon, sausage, fruit, cereal and yogurt. It is $ 10.95 a person. But be aware they charge you for drinks like coffee, tea, milk and OJ. I ended up spending like $ 8 for 2 glasses of OJ. Ugh.
The place has a nice pool and hot tub but we skipped those and headed right to the beach. They do charge you to rent items like chaises, beach umbrellas, surfboards and boogie boards. The beach is pretty nice, mostly sandy with a light scattering of shells and seaweed. Water was a bit cold and not super clear but we had a great time.
Will definitely stay here again the future, but will just not eat at the restaurant again.
