Cheap beer and good food! El cheapo menu is perfect for work day lunch hour. Quick service. Fun, friendly atmosphere.

Not impressed. Baja Fish tacos were loaded with Mahi Mahi but it just want very good. The dry rice and refried beans were covered in cheese. Service was quick and friendly. I don’t recommend this one.

I have been to this restaurant every time I have been in Indialantic and today was more than disappointed in my meal. Granted, I ordered from the«el cheapo» menu but I’ve had better tacos at Taco Bell. The meat was less than room temperature and the tacos had obviously been microwaved as evidenced by the melted cheese I had to pry apart to add salsa to try and give it some flavor. Side dish of black beans were straight from the can and barely warm which was odd because they had the same melted cheese. I asked the server for a «go» cup for my tea and she said«sure» and disappeared. Next time I’ll walk down the street to Longdoggers There are better places on this strip. Go to one of those.

Good, quick service. The food was tasty but very, very processed. Lots of razzle-dazzle putting melted cheese all over everything to make it palatable. But the food was otherwise very average.

Fast and friendly service. The food was not good if you’re used to high quality Mexican food. If taco bell is your idea of fast food then this place will be a step up for you. Food ingredients were all frozen processed and not fresh. Prices were ok, I would have been willing to pay more for better food. Skip the margaritas.

Service was very fast and friendly, within 30 secs of seating down we had warm chips and salsa and our waitress was taking our our drink order. Serving sizes are huge and much of it sticks to your lungs, not many distinct flavours. Basically your typical gringo-ized Mexican place.

First of all we were recommended this place by our hotel… I am now convinced that they must get some kind of kickback from their recommendations. Now the location and ambiance is what you want from a cantina. Service was great!!! Folks were nice. Ok now for the food. Save your money!!! Margaritas were decent but our food was awful! I think they thought covering everything in cheese would conceal the lackluster flavor. Rice was some weird texture with black pepper & cheese. Only thing edible were the black beans & the chips n salsa. I’d only return for the drinks & friendly people.

I’m not a fan of this place. The place is cute, but it all goes downhill from there. Service was slow, but it is a Cantina, so I was willing to go with the flow on that, however my margarita came out and it was just foul! Don’t mess with a girl and her margarita! Blasphemy… Next our food came out and it just looked pathetic. As if it had been sitting in a 500 degree oven for far too long. Then when we bit in, it was ground beef instead of chicken. By the time our server came to check on us… we were over it. Never said a word, however I’ll never return. At least if the margaritas were good, you could choke back the wrong, dried up food, but not even the«cantina» part was on par. Skip it!

Came for a late lunch around 2:30. Our server was kind but incredibly slow and the restaurant was not busy at all. The service here is slow and honestly frustrating. We had just about every employee helping us but not our server, not often anyway. I asked for cilantro on my street tacos and when the bill came there was and additional cost that was never mentioned. I’ve never in my life had to pay extra for cilantro at a Mexican restaurant. I can’t say I will come back. The food was flavorless and the service was just sad.

Very friendly service. Great atmosphere. The food was fast, fresh, delicious, and great portions. Try the Chimichanga!

Not good. I had a combo platter. The enchilada was very small and over-cooked. The chile rellenos was so thickly breaded it was hard to find the chile. Rice was dry. I ordered a margarita up instead of frozen and it was so tiny it was laughable. Except I wasn’t laughing. Only good news: the chalupa was hot and tasty. Would not go there again.

I’m perplexed at how bad the food is at this place. Mexican food. The easiest genre of food to cook and produce. I’ve had better Mexican food in gas stations and in frozen dinners. Every single item I’ve had at this place is as bland as cardboard. I guess they’ve never heard of seasonings. Their only special cooking«technique» is to smother everything in melted cheese. So healthy. Even the salsa served with the chips was mediocre. My 6 year old niece makes better salsa. The staff was super cool and nice though, so the service is a win, and the location is awesome. It’s just a shame the food is so mind bogglingly terrible. I like to think the owner is deliberately trying to make the food as bad as possible as some kind of weird business experiment.

We went on a colleagues suggestion. There really aren’t any good Mexican restaurants in the area so we chose to give this place a try. I ordered a strawberry margarita. It was super sweet and super strong. It was weird. I waited for the ice to melt and dilute it before drinking it. The fresh chips along with salsa were very much welcome, though the salsa can be better. We ordered tacos, flautas and quesadilla. The chicken in the flautas and quesadilla was tasteless and shredded but overall the flautas were very nice with a nice crispy exterior and melted cheese inside. About the tacos — who melts cheese on top of tacos? The whole joy of a taco is to be able to enjoy the whole bunch of Mexican cheese which tastes best cold. my friend and I thought that was very weird. We also ordered the spicy guacamole dip with our chips, and that was disappointing. The fajita bowl it came in had a bunch of lettuce in the bottom, almost as if they were trying to dupe us by concealing the lettuce in the bottom. We had to fix the guacamole with some lime and hot sauce. The great thing is that they have a nice selection of in-home hot sauces on your table that you can use to spice up your food. Overall, I would come back here for the flautas or maybe some fried idc cream.

Food was nothing to brag about, but drink specials make up for it. Went here on a Thur. And found it very busy. The margarita specials start at $ 1.99 and the bar service is quick. Unfortunately, I found the food should have been priced priced the same as the drink specials My wife ordered a baked chimichanga and i ordered a chicken dish wrapped in a flour tortilla. Her chimi was basically a flavorless burrito and my dish looked like it was just sautéed and thrown in the tortilla. Drinks and chips with friends, definitely, but pass on the food.

Went to Cantina Dos Amigos for an early New Years Eve dinner. They offered 99 cent Margaritas so that got us started. For 99 cents I expected them to be watered down, but thats not what we found. These were good, traditional, margaritas, but with a little too much salt on the rim. The service was decent, but not excellent. The food was passable for Mexican. I had combo fajitas(chicken and beef). Some of the beef was a little tough, but the chicken was fine. The meat and vegetables were all cooked together with a red sauce. They were enjoyable, but I would prefer it better if they didn’t feel compelled to throw the red sauce in. The salsa was good, a red salsa with tomato and onion chunks. We also opted for the white chili con queso and enjoyed it, especially with a few scoops of salsa tossed in. Overall we enjoyed the Cantina Dos Amigos experience, but there are better Mexican restaurants out there.

Love their El Cheapo menu!!! Where can you buy a huge lunch for under $ 5? I usually order the taco or burrito lunch. It’s delicious! I love the flavor of the meat, and I also love how much toppings they add to my main dish. I think they have some of the best salsa in the area too. I am a chips and dip girl so I can easily make a meal out of their salsa. The restaurant is decorated in a fun way and always clean and stocked. My service has always been quick even with a busy lunch rush. I highly recommend this place for lunch if you are in the beach side area and need a quick lunch.

I have eaten here twice and have never been happy with the quality of service or the food. I must not be the only one who feels this way since the bar is packed with people but the restaurant itself on a Friday night is empty. I will admit that they can make pretty good cocktails but thats about it but again it takes forever to get a drink here. One out of Five stars for poor food quality, poor service, slow kitchen, slow bar.

I have to give this place five stars. Amazing food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. We had the fajitas today and they didn’t disappoint. The amount of food for the price is unbeatable, especially if you get one of their daily specials! Also, there is a nice deck for outdoor seating. Perfect spot to unwind for lunch or dinner.
