Since 1995, we have proudly served the Independence area, giving our customers expert service and repairs at fair prices.
We are very proud of our Customer Service we offer rides to home or work (local or within reason).
With service or repairs, we clean windows & wash & vaccum all vehicles Free of Charge (when time allow’s).
(At Maywood we will work on and service your car like it is our own).
History
Established in 1995.
I started Maywood Auto Repair with a vision to offer my customers outstanding customer service, quality repairs, by highly trained ASE certified technicians, using only the best parts available (NAPA), and to provide a minumum of a 12 month 12,000 mile nationwide warranty, all with very competitive prices.
I use my repeat customers as a scale of my business success, we have many, many, loyal customers who often tell us they have never received the customer service we provide anywhere else in any industry.

Meet the Business Owner: Stan V.
I grew up in Higginsville Mo, after graduating high school; I worked for the family business, Vollenweider Apple Orchards until my parents passed away.
1988 I became a Lafayette County Deputy Sheriff.
1995 I opened Maywood Transmission with a vision to give my customers the highest level of service, the best value, and a hassle free auto repair experience.
2003 I hired an ASE Master Mechanic, Jeff Bly and expanded into general auto repair. We are now the premier repair & diagnostic shop in the area thanks to Jeff and our advanced– level –training and the latest, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. Being a NAPA Auto Care Center gives our customers a 12/12,000 mile nationwide warranty on all repairs. We offer up to 100,000 mile warranty on transmissions and engines.
In 2009 Jeff Holland, a 16 year employee, moved to service manager. He handles the phone & day to day operations. New programs include; rides to work, free car clean up & night drop off.
