We’re proud to call our home Jackson County Missouri, so proud in fact, we made it our name, and we make it our commitment to build our business here and not anywhere else.

My partner and I welcome you to enjoy the simple tastes of the most ubiquitous of American comfort foods. Don’t be fooled into thinking we just serve kids’ food. Our Cheesewiches are crafted with the greatest care and the finest ingredients to open your palate to a higher appreciation for the humble grilled cheese sandwich. We don’t serve grilled cheese here, we serve ‘Cheesewiches’, Jackson County’s own Jacomo Cheesewiches.

I was born and raised and have lived most of my life in Jackson county. I grew up in Kansas City, went to school in Independence, and now live in Blue Springs. With everything from the history to our great sports teams, it was a no-​brainer to start in and name the restaurant after Jackson County.

The gargantuan sandwich is amazing! Layer on layer of meaty cheesy goodness. I ordered delivery so I didn’t expect a nice crispy toast on the bread or crisp fries. They were both a bit soggy but OMG FLAVOR! The spicy fries are really good with a heavy seasoning. Just the right amount of spiciness.
I did expect the delivery to arrive 15 mins earlier than it did.
All in all I will order again. So sick of the only delivery available in my hood being limited to pizza and Chinese.

I ordered food for my whole office, they forgot ONE whole meal and a couple of the sides. After saying 40 minutes for delivery and it took 1 hr and 30 mins… Too Expensive for bad service.

So I want to start this off by being perfectly fair and saying that I did make a request that they deliver to a place that is not in their delivery zone, which they accepted. The guy that took my order on the phone told me 45 mins, so I verified that I would be there at that time. After waiting at the delivery place for 30 minutes beyond the time that they told me I decided to drive to the store and the delivery guy which I met in the parking lot gave me my food. Not only did they miss a few things but it was cold, even though I picked it up from the store.
The absolute only reason that I am giving them the 1 undeserved star is 1. because I love the concept of a «gourmet grilled cheese» place and 2. because they were accommodating with the delivery zone that they never made it to.
If you are dining in, I could see a different experience, but soggy cold grilled cheese is not worth the price that we paid for it.

I stopped in here shortly after they opened, looking for something quick and simple that wasn’t fast food. I wasn’t disappointed. I had a grilled cheese w/​mushrooms. The Service was quick and friendly. Major bonus goes to the business owner, which is family owned and I discovered that the employees are paid well. Which I personally feel is great!

It was very cold when we went in the restaurant. We commented on it, the owner didn’t seem to take notice of what we were saying. Only when we were ready to leave did the waitress tell us that the thermostat had been set at 60 and she had now set it up to 70. Too little too late. As for the food, it was not good. I had the roast beef with cheese and onion. The sandwich was greasy, the meat was pressed beef.
If it had been deli beef and thin slices then it would’ve been better. The bread was limp not toasty, and everything greasy. By the time my sandwich got to the table, it was only lukewarm. Too many good places to eat lunch to go back again.

We didn’t even know this place existed, we drove by one night and thought we would give it a shot. They deliver which is awesome, because not too many places deliver around here unless you want pizza or chinese. So we had it delivered. I got the blt and tomato soup. I loved the tomato soup, it was thick and creamy. I was a little disappointed in my blt though. It had great flavor but my sandwhich was a bit on the flat side. It was like whoever made it smashed it until there was almost nothing left of it. My fiancé got the gargantuan sandwhich, and he loved it. Lots of meat and cheese. He let me have a bite and it was pretty good. I might have to order it next time.

So the food isn’t terrible but it’s not great… I had the Mac and cheese-​wich with sweet fries and cheese sticks. I will say the sweet fries are a brilliant idea to whoever thought of such a thing and were to say the least amazing! However the rest of the food and service was less than acceptable.
1. Whatever they’re grilling the sandwich on has the heat turned up way too high. my sandwich was burnt on the outside and had soft bread on the inside
2. My cheese sticks tasted freezer burnt
3. The kid who delivered my food was rude about not being able to find the location… as I was pulling money out of my wallet to tip him.
4. They forgot my drink order so they had to call back which I missed because I’m at work so my food was 20 min later than the max time they initially quoted (not entirely their fault).
I gave them two stars because this may have been a one time thing but I definitely will not be ordering what I ordered or having it delivered again

I have 2 ladies at work that enjoy ordering lunch with me.
This place charges no delivery fee so we were eager to try them out. And they deliver to my workplace on Truman, while other places don’t.
I got the Ham and Cheesewich meal with fries and a drink. They got BLT Cheesewich meals.
Each meal is as follows: the sandwich is a big grilled thing in 2 pieces with a cup full of fries and a small drink. Half the sandwich and fries are plenty for a meal!
You can select your bread, cheese and dressing. I tried Sour Dough and it was a nice flavor change. Their meals are all in the $ 7 range. Not bad for free delivery.
They enjoyed their food. They only disliked the lettuce being grilled with the rest of the BLT, so it was limp. But that was the only negative.
They delivered within 15 – 20 minutes of our order. I expect they will be slower as their business and reputation grows.
