Thank you Howard D you are honest and have integrity. All you women out there can be assured you won’t be taken advantage of at Greg’s Tire in Independence.

I have been using Greg’s for years, except for about two years when I tried using someone closer to my work in Liberty. They have always been 100% honest with me.
1. What they fix, they guarantee.
They stand behind their work, and I have never had a problem with the work they have done.
2. Written estimates
I have had only one time that they did not come in under or at their written estimate, and that was because there was hidden problems found after taking apart the wheel cylinder — it couldn’t be repaired, so they had to replace it.
3. Fast but competent work
They may not be the speediest in town, but they do it right the first time.
Are they the cheapest? Nope. But you get what you pay for.
More importantly — you see the same mechanics for years — low staff turnover means happy mechanics.
I would recommend them unconditionally.

This place will get you taken care of and fast! They won’t charge you an arm and a leg either. We use them any time we have a car or tire service need

«I’ve been going here for about 12 years and never had any issues. I’ve recently bought myself a reliable car and they tease me about needing to drive it more so they can do more work on it.
As of lately I have only needed oil and filter changes, and tires but they still only do what is asked of them and they do it correctly.
The best thing about this place is that when they do work on your car they will explain what they are doing and why. I’ve even have one mechanic bring out a diagram of brake calipers and how they work and why I needed to get them repaired. This last time I was in there I sat down waiting for my car and another mechanic was explaining to another customer why the work was being done and he even had the broken part showing her why it was broken and why it needed to be replaced. Even if you can’t afford the work at the moment they will give you a time line of how much longer it can wait. They are more than willing to use used parts as well.
This place makes me really scared to go to any other tire shop.»
