Food is just plain awful. Pizza cheese was extremely sparse. What was there, was some sort of processed fake cheese. Crust was pre-made. Pizza had about 12 huge bubbles on it that were stabbed with a knife. Yuck. Yuck. Eat before you go!

I’m going to sound like a creep here, but my best friend and I came here one Friday night when we were bored of our usual plans, and we had such a blast. There was hardly anyone there(probably because it was Friday night) so we had first dibs on all the games we used to love as kids. We checked the website for coupons, and even though the deal we wanted wasn’t advertised, the staff gave it to us. Something like a large pizza, four drinks, and tokens for $ 20. The staff could have very easily treated us like crap, because two 22 year olds hanging out at a kid’s place on Friday night sounds like we’re up to no good, but everyone humored us and we actually had a really fun time.

This is our nearest CEC, and we like it. The kids always have a good time, and we enjoy the salad bar a lot. I signed up for the email club and enjoy the discounts. The weekdays are MUCH better than weekends for crowd issues. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Why anyone voluntarily takes their children here is beyond me. It’s loud and frantic, kids running around everywhere, with obnoxious entrance controls catering to overly-paranoid parents(was there a huge rash of Chuck E. Cheese kidnappings I missed?) but then again, it is what it is. The kids probably love it, but that’s because they don’t know what they’re missing: the dim lighting, Billy Bob, Fatz Geronimo… the Rock-afire Explosion, doing a show you could actually hear, because the volume was turned up and everyone knew to shut their pie holes when the house lights went down and the stage lights went up. Anyway, I don’t mean to get distracted by a nostalgic rant for the good ‘ol days. Fact is, kids seem to love it, and even if I think it is a horribly dumbed down version of what it used to be(which, sadly, no longer asks kids to sit still for a few minutes to watch a show – or for any other reason) I wouldn’t give it one star based on that alone. What will earn this place a meager lone star? The pizza. I went in expecting it to be inedible, which it wasn’t – quite. I did manage to eat some, but I never will again. Absolutely disgusting. They get an additional star for having a few other menu items, sandwiches and the like – and offering fruit as a side! – which are actually pretty alright… if you can stand eating them in the midst of 80 screaming kids who are never sit down and be quiet for any reason. At least they’ll sleep well tonight. If they can ever settle down.

Booked a birthday party here for my twins & I am so glad I did. Out of all thier b days this was less hectic than any. Everything was ready when we arrived. Great hostess(the manager– wow) tended to everything we needed. Never had to ask for any thing. Even set up the cakes we brought and put & lit the candles on it. Even burned her thumb trying to light them. My kids had a great time. I’m very happy with my decision to have thier birthday party here.
