Al-Ham Heating & Cooling

Took my money installed faulty AC unit that cost over $ 10,000 would not fix unit. Would not return phone calls. Vanished into thin air! Avoid this company!!!

This company deserves 10 stars (not the max 5 listed). Why: an unemployed widow friend of mine, bedridden with M.S. (she also has a Downs Syndrome child) had an old central A/​C system go out. It was from the early 1970’s and was just shot. Blowing hot air. It was very hot in summer in the small condo and they were both so miserable. Al-​Ham came promptly and put in a new compressor unit for FREE. YES: the parts and labor were free. There was no charge for anything. The entire outdoor unit was removed and replaced with a brand new, energy efficient unit, in just a few hours. They explained that they like to give back to the community upon occasion and this was that type of situation. The widow was so happy as she had very limited funds and had expected to pay for all the parts & labor. She had no idea that they would come, evaluate, discuss and authorize giving her a free A/​C. The new unit works perfectly immediately gave them relief from the heat. They really didn’t seem to want me to advertise this, otherwise I would have called a TV station out to report on the story. Doing this in the middle of summer heat is going about a far as you can for a fellow human being. I always recommend these guys to everyone I know.

I recently needed to replace my furnace and on a recommendation went with Al-​Ham. Received a very competitive bid from Dave with Al-​Ham and decided they were the way to go.
Ordered my furnace with them and when the day came to install it they were in and out in around 2 hours. Didn’t leave a mess and consulted with me about possibly replacing my central air unit that had stopped working the previous summer. They stated that before replacement they would like to come out and try and diagnose the problem before replacement, very honest people.
Highly recommended and with them being smaller than the larger outfits in KC I felt like a priority not a number. Thanks Al-​Ham!
