Toree Warfield at Stitches has been serving the Lake Tahoe area since 1989. In addition to expert alterations, she offers memory quilts made from clothing or other fabric items, custom photo T-​shirts and other products, Lake Tahoe mugs and totes, custom window treatments, cushions and pillows and the list goes on!

History

Established in 1990.

Toree Warfield, the owner and creator of Stitches, began sewing when she was in 2^nd grade. Now she’s been doing alterations, repairs and custom work for 25 years, and she’s gotten really good at it!

Toree became obsessed with sewing the first time she picked up a needle. In high school, if she was working on a project, time would slip by until it was 1, 2 or 3 in the morning.

Now she does expert alterations for the entire area, also sewing up memory quilts, curtains, pillows and anything else that can be made out of material and thread.

She loves to sew and will put her all into any project, ensuring that it turns out perfectly, or near to it.
