Rogers & Rogers Toyota-Scion

I was debating between a new Rav4 and a new Tacoma, when I saw the Tacoma, was love at first sight! And the service I received at the store was awesome! Got my new truck really fast and got to my appointment in time for a nice lunch. Javier was excellent explaining me all the features and overall was a great experience. Will always come back to Rogers and Rogers Toyota for a new car or to get service done to it. :)

Was looking to purchase a new 2015 Toyota Corolla LE or S, so I stopped by to check out the prices. They also listed some good deals in the Sunday paper. After spending 30 mins on the lot, no one seemed to want to help me. I walked inside to ask for help and it seemed as If I was bothering them. (Maybe I gave off that punk kid vibe lol?) After getting someone to open up a car, I sat inside. The person helping me, looked like he was upset for wasting his time. I asked some questions, but they were so sort with me. I asked about an extended Toyota warranty and was told $ 3000 for an extra 3 years or 75,000 miles? That’s just crazy. I was treated like a «dumb kid» here. Will not buy anything or ever have a car serviced here. I’ll take my business to Indio or San Diego instead.

If I could give the Sales Department 20, I would! I told my mechanic that I was looking for a new car and he gave me a business card for Rogers & Rogers Toyota. I sent and email as I am about 215 miles northwest. Sales Mgr Chuck responded so I immediately gave options on what I could afford and which car I was interested in. I was quoted a GREAT PRICE and received many pictures of a 2013 Corolla on the lot. I was very VERY impressed and started the financing process. ALL ONLINE! I have never done this before but couldn’t pass up the wonderful communication with Chuck (Sales) and James (Financing). They were very professional, courteous and VERY FRIENDLY. Since the company was so far from my residence, I was concerned how I would get my new car… THEY DELIVERED TO MY HOME! James met us at our local Starbucks and we signed all the papers necessary for the financing. NO PRESSURE, very comfortable. VERY IMPRESSED! I have been telling all my friends to contact Rogers & Rogers for any new Toyota purchases. Thanks, Chuck & James! Best experience I have ever received from a CAR DEALER!

worst experience ever!!! first off, i am from the valley and try to leave my money in the local economy as much as possible, but these idiots make it impossible!!! went in to purchase 2015 toyota crewmax. salesperson told me he could not find the keys to the only white one they had on the sales lot!!! he told me to look at the double cab!!! that it was the same thing. what!!! i came for a crewmax that is what i want to see!!! i got upset and was going to leave and then miraculously salesperson found the keys. i test drove and went into the office to run numbers. they gave me a quote of 900 a month!!! when i asked what price, interest rate, and term we were working with, they refused to tell me. they just kept asking me how much i wanted to pay. these idiots rip people off and i feel really bad for the people that just dont know about numbers or financing!!! i have an 800 credit score and expect to be financed that way!!! i have no idea how this place is still in buisness! went up the hill to el cajon toyota and got everything i wanted at the right price!!! thank you jorge hernandez!!! if you don’t know about financing ask! stay away from this place!!!

They won’t give you any numbers on your trade or sale price! They try to finance you to the max and hide the numbers and will only show you them after it has been excepted by the bank financing you. And if they need someone on as extra income and say they won’t run their credit, they are lying! !! Worst experience ever! Went to imperial valley auto mall and had no problems and are straight up with the customer. Plus, how is it that all the Roger and Roger cars I see still have dealer tags? Months after sold!?? We had our tags in the mail 3 weeks after we bought our car from IVAM… kinda strange yet our total experience was bad! They just try to see how much they can squeeze out and that’s it! Go and see for yourself but just Don’t go there only! Shop and see and you will know the truth! Plus they won’t even match a true car price! That’s funny because IVAM did! ??? Their motto should be suck them dry! Give them a negative 10 stars for deceitful practices! !!! $$

Came on sunday after 8:30 pm Customer service was «FANTASTIC» The salesman was super professional, and helpful, he explain me everything about my new truck.
He show me how to use the power windows, locks, and explain me about the engine and transmission. and also about the extended warranty.

Came here over memorial day wkend to look at the new prius V and C. Edgar was helpful and informative (bilingual English and Spanish). Already knew I wasn’t going to purchase a car that day, and he didn’t try to push a deal on my friend and me. He was helpful in letting us see inside and test drive whichever car we wanted (on a set path). They only had a few prii in stock… one V in white, 2 C’s in orange and red… ugh, one plug-​in prius, and one regular prius with the solar panel roof. Even though they didn’t have as many as I’d like to see in stock, Edgar was kind enough to tell me if I wanted a particular one (I do) that he could order it for me and get it there in one business day. Impressive seeing as how this place is located away from most major cities. When we were leaving, Edgar invited us to have some free food — a special for the holiday weekend I’m sure, even though we didn’t purchase a car. We passed, but nice gesture.

When my Highlander had a bunch of warning lights come on, I had no other choice than to let Rogers and Rogers fix it. I have done all my Toyota business in Carlsbad and the fact that El Centro is not Carlsbad is clearly a factor. I had to rent an overpriced car to deal with my current business (I wish I could attach a picture of it). They told me the rental car was per calendar day rather than per 24 hour time frame. REALLY. The orange paint with gold glitter was priceless. The major sign in the back window was beyond belief. I was told that I would be charged big-​time if I removed the back window advertisement screen. I would never do it because it was so amazingly ugly it was a topic of conversation everywhere. (I can’t imagine it would cause anyone to rent a car from them).
The repair took forever because they had to order the part. The so-​called «service» rep told me he would call me. When I called him (more than once), he said, «The reason I didn’t call you is because I didn’t have anything to say.» I suspect they were doing the best they could in a rural location but I certainly did miss the expectations I brought with me from Toyota of Carlsbad.

So it was December 23^rd and we were stuck on the side of I-​8 with a tire issue waiting for a tow truck. A CalTrans guy stopped by and checked out the damage. He recommended the Rogers & Rogers Toyata dealership. I had read the previous reviews on Unilocal and was not too sure, but took a chance and called the service department. Miguel could not have been nicer or more accommodating. He took our information and said they would be waiting. When we arrived, 3 hours later, Miguel and Jim, the service manager, were waiting for us. The mechanic, I feel bad that I did not get his name, stayed late and got us back on the road that night. While we were waiting they made us and our dog very comfortable in the sales lobby. Thanks to the entire Rogers & Rogers Toyota service department for their great service and getting us back on the road so that we could spend Christmas with our friends in Arizona.

Horrid service department. Ill drive to san diego and get my service done. Glenn at service has an ego like no other. Complete hassle just to get an oil change. Really???

This place is horrible!!!
I bought my second Toyota from them because they are the only Toyota dealership in the Imperial Valley but I regret going here. I learned my lessons and I will never do business with them again. They try to scam you in every possible way. I know that this is what is expected from dealerships but these people take it to another level. Trust none of them. Remember that they are a team and they want whatever is best for them. Don’t even trust the «NICE» salesman he is on it too. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. If you are looking for a car I recommend you drive a few hours away to get it, you will save money and the negative experience.
