History

Established in 1981.

We are a family owned & operated business in the growing area of Imperial, MO. In 1978, Walt started a lawn care company working out of his home office and barn with two mowers, a finish grading tractor, and lots of ambition. He and two hired men built railroad tie walls and finish graded residential and commercial sites. In 1981, Walt purchased the lawn accounts of a retiring business owner and «incorporated» into the business we know today as Action Landscaping, Inc. The lawn crew division still maintains a number of Walt’s original accounts. He is one of the few businessmen left that enjoys his business enough to make it his hobby. Walt’s 2 sons Tom & Tim began building block retaining walls, paver patios, walks, and driveways and designing residential and commercial landscapes. In 2005, Action Landscaping acquired land and built a 10,000 square foot showroom & 3 acre Landscape Material Yard. Today we are an established Landscape Contractor with over 30 years of experience!
